Stay Away! We booked with them months ago and now less than a week before they move, they called me to tell me "sorry, we can no longer move you on that day and don't have the truck!" This put our family in such a bad situation. The owner and Helen didn't even try to figure out a way to make it work on the day they confirmed and promised. It's so last minute that its very hard to find another mover in time. Extremely unprofessional and horrible service. I just want to warn people to stay away because I wouldn't want this to happen to any other family last minute!

STAY AWAY! This is an extremely unprofessional company. We booked and the truck arrived when I went downstairs to let them in, the driver left. I called Helen to ask what was going on and she said the driver would not go around the block and come back to park and begin the job. She said she couldn't make the driver come back and she didn't know what to tell me. She would not escalate this to a superior.

I took off of work, I planned my whole day around the move. I saw the truck down the block and they would not come back simply because the driver did not want to. We ended up paying so so much more to another replacement company because we needed to be out the next day. This company was unhelpful, unprofessional and unwilling to help. What a nightmare of an experience. Totally screwed. DO NOT HIRE!

Morrissey's was the best priced, most professional moving option we could find in Hoboken. Helen was super helpful coordinating the move, the moving team showed up on time, and took very good care of all of our furniture. Thank you for your help moving to our new home!

Absolutely easiest move of my life. Morrisey's was on time, efficient, professional, and a pleasure to work with. None of my things were damaged and everything went so smoothly. I haven't had this stress-free of a move EVER! Would highly recommend. Service: In-state moving

Great guys. Very professional. Knew exactly what what they were doing. It was a three story walk-up. Just decent, hard-working guys

I chose this company on a recommendation from a friend who had used them twice before. Another friend had recommended a different company but Morrissey's rates were far more reasonable and I'm thrilled I went with them. They came on time with a huge truck and four movers, and what had been estimated to take about six hours took only four (and that's including 50 minutes of travel time)! Items were put into the truck in an orderly fashion and they were efficient in placement at the destination. All the movers were courteous, friendly, and communication was crystal clear. Helen, at the main office, was very professional and helpful setting the whole thing up. I'd use again, no question.
