Friendly and experienced staff who were gentle with all of our belongings, efficient with their time, and professional with their adherence to COVID mask-wear when asked. They worked really hard and have us full confidence in their work. They packed up our 1800sqft home in about 1.5 days. We are so grateful and would recommend their services to anyone who needs to pack up their home!

After 30+ years in the same home, we were NOT looking forward to moving, but it turned out to be much less hassle than expected, in large part due to Capital City. LaRae Riggs is extremely knowledgeable and provided us with great advice. The price was fair and competitive with our other quotes. The crew arrived on time to the minute and went straight to work; it was very quickly apparent that these guys were REALLY GOOD at this.
They were also personable, considerate, and very careful. Five bedrooms, 3000+ square feet of belongings and furniture, much of it antiques, went down the stairs, into a truck for 100 miles, and then up a long staircase to our new digs. WITHOUT one scratch, break, ding.nothing. And all so FAST that they were well under the estimated time, and we quickly received a substantial refund. I don't know how this could have been better. Utterly professional in all respects!

Moving an office is stressful, but working with this team of professional movers was a wonderful experience. Josh took the time to come to our office and walk through, which made me feel confident he understood our needs. The day of the move the moving team was on time, professional, efficient, and friendly. I will recommend them highly.

Cap City moved us four years ago, and just this week they moved my 92 year old mother. In both cases, we were impressed by the care in providing a personalized proposal and cost estimate; free used boxes for us to pack up; and highly professional movers committed to taking good care of our belongings and to making it as stress-free as possible. The best by every measure!

I hired Capital City to move me from my old apartment to my new house in Madison. From the initial estimate to the date of the move, everyone at the company was extremely nice and helpful. I was even able to put a deposit down and gain access to a ton of cardboard boxes I could use for my move. All three of the movers were phenomenal; they worked extremely hard and were very conscientious about the safe transport of my property. I would recommend Capital City (which is affiliated with Wheaton) to anyone that is moving locally our out of the area. I have dealt with many moving companies and they are definitely my favorite.
