Mover Dudes was started in 2006 by Jon Eye, the company's current president. Eye had been working for a self-storage company helping people move in and out of homes in Winchester, Virginia. After hearing about all of the difficulties and stresses people were consistently experiencing when moving, Eye decided that he wanted to help them.
