Although Hartford Despatch gets good reviews 'when they do the job', my experience was unbelievable. I received an email confirmation for the date of my local move, I was asked to supply a furniture inventory list which I did, I received an estimate for moving and storage, signed it and sent it back. Then received a call from the owner that they couldn't help me - pretty much says he overbooked and he can't create men and equipment and sorry it's a busy time of the year.
It sounds a bit like a one man show, the owner answers the phone, books and tries to organize so I would skeptical about arranging a move with a company that puts a commitment in writing and then re-negs.
