Coastal Carrier Moving

We had Tim P., Justin W., Donald A. and Mike F. as our crew on June 8 and 9, 2022. They were all professional, accommodating and reliable. Very easy to work with and all very knowledgeable. I was amazed how fast and how strong each of these young men were. We had complete faith in their ability to get us out of our home and on to our new location.

I have never seen so much in the way of cushioning supplies, boxes and paper! They have obviously been doing this a while, which makes you feel so comfortable. We could not have had a better moving experience!

Two individuals at the intersection of independence and Carolina beach road decided it was ok to throw their garbage out the window. When I made the two "kids" aware of it, they laughed. As a result of their garbage hitting my windshield, I now have damage to my windshield. The incident happened on 5/16 at 5:30ish PM, truck number 13. What an absolutely STUPID thing to throw your trash out of the window of a marked company vehicle! I want my windshield repaired.

My husband and I have moved several times but this was our first move using Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage. We were very pleased with the entire experience. Matt Wayland was prompt and courteous with the estimate. David Shannon and Greg Deo carefully wrapped, loaded and transported our belongings in 95 degree weather from our home in Wake Forest to a rental house in Leland. We will be building a new home in Leland and plan to use Coastal Carrier Moving again once our new home is complete. Thanks again to the entire team.

Coastal was recommended by a friend who used them for two moves. Coastal is a well managed, highly professional moving company. I was impressed with Matt and others in management. The estimate was very accurate. The moving team was out of Raleigh and were professional and swift in their work. We had 1 item damaged and were reimbursed in full. Kyle and Trey were our movers and we were exceptionally pleased with their professional and mannerly service from start to finish. Sadly something not always provided in the world we live in today. They safely moved our household belongings, furniture, and most importantly my husband's Corvette from Indiana to our new home in Holly Ridge, NC. Not a single scratch on anything!

Coastal Carriers Moving and Storage packed and moved our belongings from Southport, NC, to Maryland. Austin and Grey were assigned to our move and we were extremely pleased with their service. They are professional and polite and wrapped and packed each and every item with great care. We highly recommend this company.

Coastal Carrier moved our entire warehouse worth of goods in no time. Kyle, Trey, Connor and Tommy were efficient, respectful, professional, and responsive throughout the entire move. This was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. Each of our needs were met, and every expectation was exceeded! These guys packed, unloaded, and organized just as we asked, and even re-worked some things to best meet our needs. The company is super professional. Jason returned my call right away, sent emails with quote and details in days. Excellent communication and competitive price. The movers Ozzy and Christian were on time and super professional. Super careful with delivery and assemble. I will definitely hire them again and recommend to friends and family!

They were wonderful! Ozzie and Christian, the movers, were polite, professional, efficient from beginning to end. Our packer Tessa made sure all our fragile items were packed carefully. She was there to help Ozzie and Christian when needed. We have moved many times, cross country a few times(at least 10 times) and this was the very best experience! I can't thank Jason Piper, Ozzie, Christian and Tessa enough! They were the best! Would not hesitate to recommend them for any moving job!

My wife and I have moved ten times in the last 20 years. We have never had such a great moving experience as we did with Coastal Carrier. From the very first contact with Jason to the last box coming off the truck, all was fantastic. I never thought a long distance move could go so smoothly. Justin and Gary worked hard, fast, and were extremely thorough.

I have moved many times over the past 30+ years, two coasts, and many other moves in between and this was the best experience I have had. Matt Wayland, the Sales Manager came out to give me a quote, (I had three total). His was the most reasonable. The crew showed up with 6 men and they were all so very professional, incredibly efficient, and respectful. They take the time up front to wrap everything carefully to make sure it's handled well. A great team of workers and a great company. Highly recommend!

This moving company is the best! They were called in last minute when my other movers could not make the appointment. They contacted me immediately and showed up ready to work. They made our move so easy. Very professional, prompt, courteous and ensure your things are handled with great care! Our movers, Chris Manero and Ryan, were super friendly and efficient.

They made every effort to work diligently, and get your items located to the proper rooms. They even made sure to line our furniture up exactly the way I wanted. I can't say enough about our movers and this company. They are top-notch!' You will be very happy with their services. And, remember to TIP your movers. After watching them move all the heavy boxes and furniture, you will have a great appreciation for these hardworking guys.

Coastal Carriers called me 48 hours before my move stating they could not complete my move as scheduled and told me my out of state move either needed to occur a day earlier, my stuff dropped off a week after pick up, or I needed to find another solution. I was a small move and it was clear I was not a priority. When I stated that wasn't feasible he berated me for being irresponsible for not packing in time and inflexible.

When I reminded him that it was his schedule that was causing the issue he continued to lecture me rather than accepting responsibility. In fact, he continued to bemoan the fact that he quoted me a low price. As a friendly reminder to Coastal Carriers a low move quote is only a good thing when the move actually occurs. I would have happily paid more to avoid the additional stress.

Very pleased with this moving company. From our salesperson Josh to the three crews who originally moved us, put our furniture in storage, then did a second pickup at our rental to the final move to our new home. Our final crew of Ben and Brandon were fantastic. They worked their tails off and could not have been more courteous and helpful. A friend had recommended them and I would also recommend this moving firm.

I contacted this company for an estimate through their website. It took two requests and two weeks to get a response. After that, they sent me an inventory list to fill out in order to get an estimate. (I couldn't be at my home for them to come and see). I returned an inventory of what I wanted to move, asked more questions about price, etc. and have never heard back from them after 10 days.not a call, not an email.

So at this point it has been 3.5 weeks since contacting them and still no answers. Guess they don't want my business. I deal with companies that want my business and care. So I have scratched them off my list! I have moved many times so I know good customer service and when someone wants my business. No worries, I just do not recommend this company and have moved on to a company that responded immediately.

We'd like to thank the "3 Brians" for a flawless long-distance move last Monday. The day went on far longer than it should have, but all three maintained high energy and a tremendous attitude. I would give this company no stars if possible. Their driver was unprofessional and management refused to return calls when we tried to make a claim for substantial damage that was incurred during the move. Not only did the truck destroy our retaining wall, the movers also dropped and broke an armoire and chipped a wall in the house Stay clear of this company

Scott and his crew have moved us 3 different times. Last move was over 750 miles away to the Gulf Coast. Can't say enough good things about Scott and his crew's care, attitude and professsionalism regarding all aspects of our move. Poor service even before contracting! Set a date for a quote. Got a call just before appointment to reschedule. She was previously aware of potential conflict if she ran late. I was assured that she would call later in day to reschedule, we never heard from her. If this is typical of follow through and service, they deserve a D-!

When the Coastal Carrier Truck showed up this morning 2 happy faces greeted me and could not have been more helpful happy and motivated. WOW what great workers! They loaded that truck so well, they should take pride because to me it was a work of art. What was unbelievably stressful when we tried to do it before by ourselves, was this time so easy and exciting. From now on I will recommend Coastal Carrier for the best moving experience.

Sorry it took me so long to post this review. I was (with the help of a friend's online search) really pleased to find Coastal Carrier Movers to handle my move from Wilmington, NC to Marietta, PA in June 2013. After discussing (with Vince Terry) the needs involved in putting many of my belongings into storage until 1. My house was sold & 2. I found the place I wanted to move to in PA, everyone of their employees work diligently to make sure all my things were packaged & moved carefully as well as efficiently.

In 2004, when I originally moved from NJ to NC I had a very bad experience with, what was suppose to be a reputable moving company, so I was totally unprepared for the professionalism shown by every employee I dealt with at Coastal. From my moving experience in June, I can promise that Coastal Carriers will do everything in their power to make your move, either local or long distance, as smooth as possible.

A big THANK YOU to everyone at Coastal Carriers. They all went above & beyond to make things work for me. From past experience also, I must point out that their prices are very reasonable compared to other companies.
