Bryan and Chris did a great job with the move. I never had to move with furniture before and Aloha Movers made it exceptionally easy. Aaron, the owner, is super easy to contact and easy to talk to. He explained to me what business with Aloha Movers would be like and answered all the questions I had and then some. Bryan and Chris took a lot of care with my belongings and furniture. They wrapped up most of my furniture to protect it from getting dirty or damaged.
My desk and bed framed weren't wrapped, but given the interactions I had with the guys, they totally would if I had asked but I was shy. Everything they did would have had me anxious and crying if I had done it myself but these guys were clearly professionals, maneuvering corners expertly. I would recommend this company to others and I would hire again if needed 100%. Thanks for making my life easier!

I contracted Aloha Movers remotely from the east coast for my daughter's relocation to San Diego for Grad School.
Aloha were highly professional and courteous throughout the entire process and on move day, and provided us a good estimate of the cost for her move. My daughter reported the move as flawless and the two man crew were efficient and professional. We strongly recommend Aloha Movers!

I have had such a wonderful experience with this moving company. I had to abruptly move from Orange County to San Diego, and from start to finish, this company has been amazing. I'm going through a difficult time (divorce) and the last thing I needed was more stress. Working with Aloha Movers honestly felt like I was working with family. So kind, professional, thoughtful. From scheduling, quotes, to the delivery team.
I had a team of 3, Chris and I'm sorry I can't remember the other two guys names but all three were awesome. Never once did I feel stress or that I was a burden. They were fast, efficient, and put me at ease. I have moved all my things into a storage unit but you better believe, when I move into a permanent place I'll be calling Aloha Movers again to get me settled in. Told them "I'll see you in ten months!" And Chris (jokingly) said, "I'll put you on the schedule!" Thank you so much for everything! So so so much appreciation your way guys!

I was estimated 3-4 hours and at 5.5 hours they weren't even really 100% done. They had three movers with them - one who seemed new and was the only mover of the three who was actually nice and with a good attitude. Another seemed indifferent to the matter but overall nice but the third seemed just complain about moving our stuff that we are literally paying them to move. I was told they could assemble furniture if it wasn't too difficult but then was told by the movers during the move they don't normally do this once is seemed to be a problem for them and they were already half way through with the bed frame.
I later found the assembly instructions I had left taped to the bed frame headboard on a book case they moved. they could asked or just said no from the beginning. I also found a hole in the drawer of the bed frame they moved. No follow up after or anything - even with the huge time estimate difference. I moved from a storage unit to a 2 story house. I knew the estimate was going to be wrong when it took near 3 hours for them to load the van from the storage unit. I was recommended them by another military family and will not using them again.

Aloha movers did an excellent job for us on what had turned into a difficult move. We had planned to do a lot of things ourselves but life happened and we found ourselves the day before our move not fully packed and not ready. We called in a panic and Aaron and Jim were able to come pack that night. Aaron was there again the next day with a crew to move us. They really bailed us out and went above and beyond for us. Nothing broken. Move went fast and efficient. The only downside is I think they forgot the pineapple. For the service provided I am happy to overlook it though.

Eric and Bobby are the best! They are worth every penny, I left the room for a minute and they had everything dismantled and ready to be loaded. They were extremely patient with my 5 year old, who was their shadow the whole time. They unloaded everything fast and even gave me recommendations for the area I moved to. Not to mention the eye candy. Hire them, ask for Eric and Bobby, you won't be disappointed.

They did a fair job of moving everything from an apartment to our new home. They didn't take credit card, only cash. When I asked the lead mover if he had change, he said, "what do I look like, a bank?" I don't know, but if you only take cash for payment, that kind of makes you a bank. I know I'm not one. The final bill was $611. So, I factored in the $89 extra dollars that should have been change as part of their tip, as well as some additional for the guys.
The lead mover didn't consider the extra $89 as part of his tip, and let me know that he'd "let it slide (what he considered no/small tip) this time." before he presented me with a pineapple. I told him to keep his pineapple and leave. I didn't make their "cash only" policy. If all your business can afford is to take cash only, then I recommend not fighting your customers over your company policy. Own it and deal with it.

The people who came to move my stuff were unprofessional. They complained about having to move my stuff a distance. They left a bunch of stuff still in my apartment including a box they packed. The glass from my coffee table was left on the lawn. They left their material all over my apartment. When I looked at how the material was packed it looked like it was thrown into the storage unit. Worst experience I've had moving.

Aloha Movers came to move my house full of furniture and did a remarkable job, not a lot of furniture but really heavy. They moved it into a house with 2 sets of stairs And a winding staircase and took extra careful not to mark the walls. Aloha Movers is by far the best small moving company in the business. We've made 3 moves in the last 4 months after selling our home in South Carlsbad, settling into temporary housing and eventually moving into our newly remodeled home in Oceanside. Anthony and his team were involved in all 3 moves and they are the epitome of true professionalism. They were hard working, efficient and courteous throughout the whole process.

Excellent service. Vinney and Eric did a fantastic job. They made our lives so easy with our move. They came on time and did their thing. No damages on our furnitures considering they are cheap material furnitures as I warned them and they were very extra careful on handling our stuff. I recommend this company. Anthony, Andrew, and Brandon did a fantastic job with our move! They made what could have been a stressful day, a very easy one for us. We had a condo to condo move with a stop in between to our storage unit for a drop off and pick up of additional items. Condo complexes typically have strict HOA rules for move-in and move-out activity where they do not hesitate to charge you for every small damage.
The Aloha crew moved large furniture in and out of tight spaces without a scratch! They were fast, courteous, and communicated very well during the transfer to each location. I would highly recommend Aloha Movers to anyone needing help with their relocation.

Now my family and I are settled in our new place. It's been a month since moved. We actually had a few issues with Aloha movers. Just been patient of doing back and forth communications. I thought they could just come home on the moving day for pack if they knew it would not take time. -- Due to new place building structure, it took much longer than they estimated for unloading. It ended up with adding more people in order to finish in time for next client. I was not notified adding more people until I saw the bill at payment. -- A floor light was missing after everything unloaded into new place.
That was finally reimbursed though. Bottom line is that they did handle issues sincerely and came to agreement with me. There could be better way to get resolved. Anyway, nobody is perfect including myself. Moving is stressful. So I hope these sharing would help for both Aloha and people will move in future.

Moving is never fun. Aloha Movers made it much less miserable than I expected. They were punctual and called 30 min before arrival, as promised. They had all the equipment needed and all the supplies necessary to ensure furniture was well protected. They were fast and used their time wisely. Price was fair and without any surprise fees. I basically highly recommend this company and would used it again if needed.

I give out few five stars. My criteria is simple: - respectful professional - honor commitments and keep their word - do a job well done - pineapple* I used Aloha Movers to move locally from North San Diego to Chula Vista. They called when they were on their way and arrived earlier than the agreed hour. They provided the promised wardrobe moving boxes, the verified inventory and wrapped all furniture to protect vs. scratches, and they really made sure everything was done correctly.
The moving truck and the movers where all clearly labeled and identifiable. They were all respectful and professional. They took care to do things right. I would not hesitate to use them again for a local move. The only thing which I don't like about them (nobody is perfect) is they charge you more if you pay with credit card. I think it was 3% or 4% more. I don't remember the exact amount.
I have always found this to be inappropriate, and hope it goes away. (Wishful thinking!) *= I thought it was going to be a joke or website marketing only, but they did give me a delicious pineapple at the end of the move as a housewarming gift. This was very appreciated. Nice (tasty) touch!

Have used Aloha for both moves since living in San Diego. The most recent time they packed us up too. I started to help then quickly realized I was just getting in the way and left it to the pros! If and when there's a next time, I'm coming back to Aloha. P.S. I've also enlisted their services for some light business/office moves which they were able to accommodate nicely, even with the building moving guidelines and time restrictions.

Since I've used Aloha Movers twice now, I can say they provide an excellent and consistent experience. They make sure your furniture is put on the truck safely so there is no damage. I've had stuff broken with moves before and I'm happy to say nothing was broken or even damaged with both of my moves. When it's time to move again, Aloha will be the first and only call I make.

I had Aloha Movers help my fiance and I move out of our 2 bedroom apartment in Clairemont to our new place in Encinitas - These guys are awesome. We had a good amount of stuff and they had everything out of the old apartment in less than an hour! They wrapped up all the furniture and had everything positioned perfectly in the truck so nothing got bumped around. There wasn't a scratch on anything.
On the other end of the move, the movers had everything moved into the new place in under an hour, so with commute time, they came in well under 3 hours. To cap it all off, they gave us a pineapple before leaving, which we enjoyed later that night! These guys are absolute professionals and get the job done quick and efficiently. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of movers.

Had two trucks and four very strong guys. They moved a piano and a wood stove for me. They were professional, polite and really efficient. I've hired these guys twice now. First time moved my 3 bedroom condo into storage and then when my new place was ready moved my stuff into that residence. Everything was furniture wrapped and protected with blankets. I know stuff can break or get scuffed during a move, but everything went perfectly. Hope I don't have to move again any time soon, but when I do I'll be calling Aloha Movers.

These guys were a dream! Came on time and prepared with furniture wrap and blankets to help me move apartments. I was pretty worried as the stairs in my new place looked pretty hard to navigate but these guys did such a great job and nothing got broken or damaged and all for such a great price. Would 100% use Aloha again if I move! Best movers Ive used in San Diego.

Aloha Movers was recommended by a colleague, and they exceeded my expectations and blew me away with their service. They were professional, punctual (early, even) careful yet expeditious with my move. I actually spent less than usual on this move because the guys were so fast and efficient.(more money to tip them with, which they earned!) Not one item broken or damaged (unlike in the past), and they were more than willing to help with rearranging furniture once it was set, and putting furniture items together for me. I sold my condo and purchased another home and needed to hire a moving company. I called around and Aloha Movers were very helpful, professional, and answered all my questions. Aloha Movers took the "stress out of moving" and made the transfer rather painless. Anthony and the other two guys were prompt, professional and work quickly, non-stop. Nothing was damaged either, they also laid down drop cloth to protect our flooring too. I liked the fact they used "stretch plastic wrap" on all our glass bookcases, covered from top to bottom. They also maximized the available 10 x 15 storage unit to neatly fit our 2-bedroom condo household, including washer and dryer, I was very impressed with their organized manner. Experience the spirit with Aloha Movers - professional moving services at low cost. I would definitely use Aloha Movers again. By the way, the pineapple was delicious!

Aloha Movers is a local moving company in San Diego. According to their website, they are focused on high quality, competitive pricing, and highest of ethical standards. My significant other was in charge of scheduling the movers and booked them last minute. My significant other negotiated a flat rate based on our inventory (which wasn't much to begin with), and Aloha Movers was able to "squeeze" us in fairly quickly!
On the day of the move, 3 guys showed up (with tattoos). Service-wise, they packed everything quickly, wrapped furniture with padding, blankets, and giant saran wrap where necessary. They were able to move our belongings quickly and efficiently to the new home. It made moving a lot less stressful. Thank you for everything! Tip: Better to pay in cash. Extra fee for using credit card for payment!

The best. All of the employees at Aloha that I either spoke with on the phone (Aaron, Buddy), or the movers (Chris and Andrew) were kind, helpful and polite. We are in our 50's and decided we didn't want to lift and move anymore, so we had the Aloha boys move our items from one storage company to another. They were quick, efficient and all around good guys. I will definitely be calling them next time we move anything.

Have used Aloha movers twice now and both times everything went great. Moving is no fun but I have been able to make moves smooth because I have the maid pack everything up, Aloha moves it and the maid unpacks. Yes that sounds like I sit back and that is the idea. If you can afford to spend a few bucks make your life easier and get movers and perhaps get someone to help you pack. My goal when I move is to make it as smooth as possible and Aloha certainly helps with that!

The process with them was so great, I am almost sad I shouldn't have to move again soon! Dealt with Aaron on the phone and had Chris, James, and Brandon as our movers. They were on time, amazingly fast, and packed that truck like a game of tetris, getting everything in one trip without damaging anything. They were super cool and friendly and did not leave until they made sure everything was exactly where and how we wanted it. Very affordable pricing, and even moreso because they hustled. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing movers. The pineapple at the end was a cute touch too!

Aloha Movers came through to help us move and in short notice. They were easy to schedule with and affordable and fair pricing! Buddy and his crew work well together and efficiently use your time. Had three guys help move me from La Jolla to North Park and all three hustled and got the job done much earlier than planned. Nothing was broken and they didn't waste anytime. Very easy to book and they showed up right on time. Only thing I would have liked was a call the day before to confirm to just have a little piece of mind to know they were coming, but not a big deal. Highly recommend! Great job!

Since I've used Aloha Movers twice now, I can say they provide an excellent and consistent experience. They make sure your furniture is put on the truck safely so there is no damage. I've had stuff broken with moves before and I'm happy to say nothing was broken or even damaged with both of my moves. When it's time to move again, Aloha will be the first and only call I make.

Just Hire them! Really. They will take good care of your furniture, wrapping everything. They are nice guys who work really hard and NEVER complain. Buddy is very professional and thorough. The show up on time and get the job done professionally. These guys have moved my friends a few times and I needed an extremely large dining table moved... they were fast and efficient. The pricing is fair... I believe that you get what you pay for. They are well prepared and extremely helpful.... thanks for making the transfer of the furniture easy! See you next time!

These people are so sweet, even though I didn't use them personally, they left a pineapple at my office door today while we were closed for a meeting. Will definitely recommend to my customers at Storage West!!

I've hired these guys twice now. First time moved my 3 bedroom condo into storage and then when my new place was ready moved my stuff into that residence. Everything was furniture wrapped and protected with blankets. I know stuff can break or get scuffed during a move, but everything went perfectly. Hope I don't have to move again any time soon, but when I do I'll be calling Aloha Movers.

These guys were a dream! Came on time and prepared with furniture wrap and blankets to help me move apartments. I was pretty worried as the stairs in my new place looked pretty hard to navigate but these guys did such a great job and nothing got broken or damaged and all for such a great price. Would 100% use Aloha again if I move! Best movers Ive used in San Diego.
