FM 707 Self-Storage was born in 1997 with an owner who had a vision of starting small and giving the self-storage industry a whirl. Not knowing what the future might hold, ground was cleared, cement poured, and 4 buildings erected, consisting mostly of smaller size units. These original 4 buildings later came to be known as phase 1 of many more blessings to come.
Since then, phase 2 through 7 have been completed, thus giving the facility approximately 600 rentable units. Unknowing back in 1997, the city of Abilene's growth southward, both commercially and residentially, has greatly contributed to the success of our business.
