Business Details
We have been dedicated to the fine art of piano moving since 1955, giving us more than six decades of specialized experience. Our founders built a familyrun tradition that has been passed through generations, instilling a deep respect for each instrument. In 2010 Gentle Giant Moving Company acquired us, preserving our brand and enhancing our resources while maintaining our exacting standards. All of our movers are fulltime, highly trained professionals who undergo rigorous apprenticeship to master the craft. We are fully licensed and insured to operate throughout New England and New York State, providing clients with complete protection. As members of the Piano Technicians Guild, we adhere to industry best practices and stay current with evolving techniques.
Our team has successfully moved pianos for prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Boston Conservatory, and the New England Conservatory of Music. We have also supported performances by renowned artists including Tony Bennett, Billy Joel, and the Boston Pops, demonstrating our capacity for highprofile events. We employ climatecontrolled trucks, custom cradles, and precision padding to ensure every piano arrives in flawless condition. Our commitment to transparent communication guarantees a sameday quote and a response within one business day. We continuously strive to exceed client expectations by delivering reliable, artful service with the utmost care for each instrument.

The Allston Piano movers showed up on time, did a thoroughly professional job disassembling and wrapping up my baby grand and got it moved out in surprisingly short time. Thanks guys, looking forward to being reunited with it this fall.

These guys did a great job! It was a complicated move involving a crane lift, and everything went super smoothly and right on schedule. Couldn't be happier.

This piano mover is affiliated with Gentle Giant, so it is no surprise they did a great job, were professional and friendly, and always on time. They moved our grand piano so carefully that it did not even need to be tuned in our new home. Services: Local move, Storage, Packing / unpacking, Oversized item move, Vehicle transport

Allston moved a Steinway M grand piano into our basement. It was a difficult move with a very, very tight fit underneath the ceiling at the bottom of the stairs. Other movers had refused to attempt it. Allston was very responsive. The guys onsite made the attempt without a board in order to save space, and with some creative wriggling, managed to get the piano in place. The guys were professional, great communicators, and most of all sporting enough to give it a go at a tough job. Very grateful for the excellent service from these guys.
