All local Connecticut moving must be charged by the hour, these hourly rates are regulated by CT DOT. Flat-rate or cap is not allowed in Connecticut. Our hourly rate is based on movers and trucks needed to complete your relocation. Our rates are very reasonable, our service is excellent. We have always kept our customer's costs lower, this creates a lifetime of customers.

Long Distance Moving

Shoreline Express Moving is our long distance moving division. We operate out of our Essex, CT office and Dunn, NC office. Our long distance division has trips going South every other week, and same for relocating North. When moving household items over State lines we are regulated by the FMCSA. All loads must be cubed and weighed for accuracy, costs are finalized via your shipments weight.

Storage

Report

We offer short and long term storage to our customers, these are not self-storage facilities, our warehouses are full service units. All items are stored in moving vaults with customer's info and placed into our warehouse, only our movers can load and unload items. Monthly storage costs is matched to the size of residence and amount of vaults needed to store.
