MIARA TRANSPORTATION originated in Charlestown, Massachusetts in 1956 and was incorporated in 1962. Our new facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts is perfectly situated at Routes 93, 95 and 495, allowing us easy access to all the major highways of the New England states. Our Millwrights and Riggers are seasoned professionals, well versed in the art of moving heavy machinery. Our road crews are all experienced drivers, with many miles under their tires. We specialize in permit loads: High, Wide, or Heavy.

Our fleet of Forklifts have capacities which range from 2,000# to 60,000#, and several of our forklifts are equipped with hydraulic booms.

For more than 50 years, our Crane Operations crew has provided professional service for industries in the New England area. We are able to assess and meet all aspects of your hoisting needs, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our clients include Research & Development, Biotechnology, Education, Utility Suppliers & Providers, Building trades, and Defense contractors. In addition to our crane inventory, we are able to contract for additional equipment to meet your hoisting needs.

We have a modern indoor warehousing facilities in Wilmington, MA, Middleton, MA, and Hudson, NH with over 75,000 sf. We operate in-house computerized inventory control which tracks incoming and outgoing equipment.
