Since our incorporation in March of 1978, Keyboard Carriers has moved over 100,000 pianos and keyboards within Colorado. We specialize in only two services: moving and storage. Although we don't tune, refinish, rebuild, repair, rent or sell pianos, we have many clients who do all those things, and we are happy to give you a recommendation. All moves include full insurance for your instrument and property. Our moving work week is Tuesday through Saturday, and we are in the office Monday through Saturday.

Our Warehouse

We are located at 1390 W. Evans Ave., Suite 1E, Denver, Colorado. The warehouse is above ground, concrete, temperature controlled, secure with alarms, and your piano is fully insured. We rarely have visitors, but if you want to see where your piano is being stored, you're always welcome. Just call first for directions. We can be a little tricky to find.

Grand Pianos

A Grand is stored on its side with the legs and bench wrapped separately. When we pick up your piano, we inventory it and ask you for its appraised or estimated value. Full insurance coverage is included in the storage rate. At the time of the move into our warehouse, we collect the move charge plus one month of storage ($90).

Pro-Moving Long Distance

Although we don't move pianos cross country ourselves we work closely with companies that do. One of the companies, Modern Piano Moving, attempts to move door to door, from location A to location B. The other two companies, Walter Piano Transport and Keyboard Carriage, only move pianos from piano mover to piano mover.
