I had to make a sudden move out-of-state and needed to store my RV and tow dolly ASAP somewhere affordable. Show Low was halfway between my old place in the greater Phoenix area and my new home in Albuquerque. I decided to park it there until I could make other arrangements. Fast-forward *a year and a half later*. Life passes quickly and before I knew it time had really progressed.
A few days ago I just decided to up and make the 4 hour drive to go and get my RV. To be honest, I was scared to go and see what had become of it in that time. A year and a half is a long time for an RV to sit with no maintenance or checking in on it. Lots of bad things could happen in that time. When I rolled up I took a look and she was doing just fine.
The only issue was a dead battery (go figure). There were no packrat nests (which had been a problem in the Valley), no mice had invaded, no one had dinged it, no damage at all! Additionally, it was a Sunday and while they are technically closed for business, as I rounded the corner in my car, I saw a person on her golf cart over in my area just checking on things.
I was successful in getting the RV and tow dolly moved to Albuquerque where I can keep an eye on her myself from now on. I am grateful to the folks at America One Mini-Storage for watching out for her for such a long time for me when I couldn't. Also, I called and left a message to let them know I didn't need the space any longer. They called me back and told me that it was taken care of. No fuss, no muss. Thanks guys! Highly Recommend!
