After being tailgated in the right hand lane on 234 on 12/24 at 1:30PM in Dumfries by a crazy aggressive Vintage Moving van driver who then proceeded to speed as he was weaving in and out of traffic, running lights and more tailgating, driver then staid still in the middle of the road for a minute after a red light because he was using his phone, he still ended up behind me near Rt 1. I wouldn't recommend a company who puts lives and your belongings at risk to save a few mins of time.

These guys are fantastic. They moved me on 2 different days, one from a storage unit and the other from a townhome my wife and I rented. They were prompt and hard=working! John, the owner, and Kari, the estimator, were supportive and accurate as well as very helpful! The guys that did the moving were careful and professional and great to be around! If you ever have a need for moving services, this is the company. They were also extremely reasonable; value for the cost!

Vintage Moving is our go to movers for moves both large and small. We have used them to move single items and just recently for a whole house move. We cannot say enough about their small move service; we are always treated as if we were giving them thousands of dollars in fees. They have moved furniture from stores to our home, from our home to charitable donation centers, from stores to a storage unit (prior to a household move and then they moved it all again).
One of the best was their handling of our "swapping out" freezers with our daughter. They took it all in stride. Their staff is terrific. They take the time to expertly dismantle pieces too large to move as is and each piece is wrapped with the utmost care. We are always amazed at how quickly they can reassemble a piece. They take exceptional care with their surroundings when moving things in or out.
We had ordered a large wall unit (eleven feet long) and they went above and beyond in setting it up. It cleared the newly painted celing by less than three inches and the crew was determnined they would not mark up the ceiling and they did not! From start to finish, Vintage provides big city service with a small town feel. It is apparent they value not only the customers' belongings but the customers themselves. Do not hesitate to contact Vintage Moving for any type of move!

There are not enough hours in the day to leave Vintage Moving the praise and review they deserve. Things were stellar from beginning to end including phone calls to the office (kudos to Kari and Mark!). My husband and I bought a new sofa and recliner from a consignment store in Manassas and the store recommended Vintage Moving to deliver the furniture to Loudoun County. Are we happy they did!
The two pieces came padded and shrink wrapped better than any retail store has ever done for us. The gentlemen (Jeremiah and Antonio) were quick, efficient and extremely pleasant. (PLUS right on time which we greatly appreciated as we needed to get into the office!) They unloaded the furniture, brought it in the house without any problems, and put the furniture exactly in place.
Following that, for a very nominal fee they took our old sofa out for delivery to a charitable organization. My husband and I were laughing as we said we either needed to buy more furniture or plan to move so we could call Vintage again! Super office staff, highly professional movers and terrific prices made for the best of experiences. Cal Vintage Moving & Storage confident you are calling the best!

I have used Vintage Moving & Storage 3 times and all 3 times they have made my move stress free. I have moved from the 4th floor of an apartment building to another 3rd floor apartment building. The movers received a major workout but stayed professional and got the job done. Every time I call to schedule my move I leave a message and within 24hrs I receive a return call. Kari has been beyond professional.
The movers take this time and wrap your belongings and secure tightly in the moving truck. Vintage has reasonable rates. Yes you will shop around and another moving company may offer you a lower price but remember lower does not always means excellent service. Highly recommend Vintage Moving & Storage.

I have used Vintage movers 3 times in the last 4 years and I must say I have been extremely satisfied every time; guess that's why I kept calling them. The staff is very professional, everyone from the managers you book your move with down the actual movers. What really impressed me is the communication they provided as well as the recommendations made that would save me money - who does that?
That was awesome and very much appreciated. The day of my move they had crews out in various locations, the crew assigned to me had an earlier booked move before mine which ran over due to a client changing drop-off locations. Vintage movers kept me up to date via phone calls and text message so I was never in the dark wondering, where are these guys.
To me that was great customer service. My crew was fast, careful and efficient. I was extremely impressed how these guys packed and moved my stuff out their truck for loading. It was done in no time. At delivery to my new location they exhibited the same type of care and efficiency. These guys were work horses and you could tell by the way the maneuvered my furniture through some tight spaces these guys were pro's.
Not one wall was hit and not one piece of furniture was damaged. I was thoroughly impressed. They had my bed and dresser assembled and even fixed one of the support post on my bed I had broken several months ago! An absolute class act. I would truly recommend Vintage movers to anyone looking to move, this company is professional, courteous, efficient and needless say they know how to move stuff without beating it or your walls up in the process! I've done the let's move myself or let's move my friends thing before, but I can tell you from experience that in the end you're better off having pro's do it!
