Late on a Thursday evening, I visited a few friends who were working on moving out of their 1,000sqft space after being notified they had to vacate as the owner had chosen to sell the property. I realized very quickly, they were not ready. At all. As a professional organized and complex move manager, I knew they had a very difficult task ahead of them and while I was unable to provide one of my team, I offered to help line up a team.
All my go to movers were booked solid. So now what. I had used Unicorn in the past and was pleased but it been been many years. I learned a good friend knew the new owner, so early Friday I called and left a message. Chile was quick to respond and quick with the quote. He was understanding of the situation and knew it was not going to be an easy undertaking.
The team called and arrived as agreed to pack on day one. They realized I was not over exaggerating and sent more hands to help immediately. The operations manager called me to check in personally and discuss the next day's moving plan. Day 2's team showed up with even more support and an extra truck (just in case)(which we filled). They worked diligently with wonderful attitudes.
They worked through the first of what I'm sure will be many more 100 degree days. Their pace never slowed and their packing was on point. Their attitudes never wavered. Their willingness to do whatever it took was exactly what we needed. These fabulous humans even humored me while we took this photo with the giant frame we moved into storage (and then I hauled out to stage the photo).
I cannot say enough kind words. They helped me help my friends. I have happily added Unicorn Movers to my short list of local Austin companies I cannot live without. THANK YOU TEAM!

This is the 6th time that our family has used Unicorn moving over the last 10 years. Each time, they did excellent work and we were very pleased. Most recently, Caleb and Robert helped move our daughter to another apartment community. The weather was brutally hot, but they showed up and did the job without complaint. They were very efficient and had such positive, great attitudes.
It was clear to me that they were focused on superior customer service. They made sure that we were satisfied and finished ahead of schedule after carefully moving everything. I am quite sure that we will use them again for our future moving needs and I encourage everyone to check them out.

I had a great experience with Unicorn Moving! Our movers carried a positive attitude and were super respectful and nice throughout the move! They worked quickly and efficiently, even in the midst of the summer heat. They were very careful wrapping my furniture and walking through narrow doorways. I would use them again!

I had a great experience moving with Unicorn Moving & Storage! Ray and Caleb were professional, fast, and handled my items with care. They arrived with all of the equipment required for the job and finished faster than I had anticipated. Great value as well. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again.

We just completed a move with Unicorn, and I would fully recommend them to anyone needing help moving. Kim was fantastic to work with on scheduling and was able to accommodate our request for a Sunday move. They called to confirm the day before our move and had all details ready to go. And the team of movers (Israel, Miguel, Louis, and Victor) were absolutely incredible--timely, courteous, careful, and so professional. They made what could have been a stressful day much much easier. Next time we move, we will definitely be booking Unicorn again.

I love the moving company. Very organized and good communication. They had me moved in 3 hours but the employees were very attentive and made sure that everything moved was in the right place. I really want to acknowledge the movers that were so Friendly and helpful! I highly recommend if you are going use Unicorn to request the employee Blake Center and Moseley Rick -#496. They are the best. Thank you!

There aren't enough good things to say about Unicorn. I went with them after reading all their great reviews and I am so happy I did. Miguel and Summer are incredibly kind, professional men who loaded my stuff up with care (whole house in four hours!) which allowed me to start my cross country drive a day early. They were the same crew who drove my belongings and unloaded them at the destination (super important- you always want this).
They maintained a positive, professional, upbeat attitude the entire time - which means a lot during a stressful time! And man do they have strength. They were kind to me, my pets, and my family. If I were ever to move again I'd call them in a heartbeat and request the same crew. On top of this, their pricing is extremely fair. I'd recommend this company without hesitation.
The only feedback I'd have to offer is for the company to optimize its website for mobile to better reflect their amazing service. Don't wait and if you're looking for the best movers call them right away!

When we decided to move away from Austin because we couldn't afford it, our new place was over an hour away. We looked for long distance movers figuring their rates would be more competitive. Unicorn Moving and Storage gave an estimate for 3 hours and a travel fee (to cover travel there and back after the move that was not included in the 3 hours).
Our movers: Robert F and Ryan communicated when they were on their way, when they arrived, and how they planned to tackle the job once they saw everything we needed to pack. They were professional, courteous, respectful, efficient, friendly, helpful, and wonderful to have in a move! We got everything done within the time frame even with the extra walking they weren't expecting! Unicorn Moving must be doing a great job hiring quality people but treat them well if they have such longevity!
Will recommend them to anyone moving within their radius- it was by far the best decision and investment I made in our move! They took care of us! **They were also great sports about letting me take photos of them for our memory wall!

100% capable and professional moving service. The move was executed perfectly except that my TV was damaged in the process. Unicorn's claim team quickly solved the issue by verifying, recognizing and refunding the full replacement cost of my TV. This was despite my choice of basic insurance coverage that would have otherwise refunded a fraction of the value.
For this reason I highly recommend Unicorn Moving and Storage. This all started after I received 3 mail advertisements from moving companies and I called each one. 2 answered and 1 didn't. After speaking with Chili, his confidence and experience satisfied my vetting process regardless of price. I sensed that Unicorn would take care of this physical part of our move which is often a stressful chapter for most families.
Post move, having a direct line with a respectful and polite claims specialist like Sal exceeded my expectations. But most importantly, the moving team was exceptional. From a personal standpoint, each member of the team took time to shake my hand, introducing themselves and to remember my name. I never heard foul language or bad attitude and they were even more kind to my wife and mother.
