Terry, the packing, loading and unloading crew chief, was on top of everything and everyone. A very easy move across statelines from North Carolina to Georgia.

I am very happy with Truckin' Movers. The move team Steven, Jarvis, and Salvador, were great and treated my items and house with care. They were in and out well under the original time estimate, and they worked well with each other. Noelle at the office was great too. She made sure my move was on schedule even though this time of year is very busy for moving companies. She was very thorough in the estimate and communicated the details of the move to me clearly. Next time I move, I plan to reach out and use Truckin' Movers again.

I didn't know it was possible to have a stress- free moving experience until my family had the privilege of moving our household with 'Truckin Movers'. We used Truckin' Movers for a move from Durham to Pennsylvania and also previously used them for a move between Chapel Hill and Durham. We had them do a full pack of our house and also needed a few weeks of storage between moving out of one residence and into the next. It was a very good experience from beginning to end. Office staff were friendly and pleasant to work with.

The estimator was thorough and answered all my questions about the process and pricing/options on insurance. The packing and loading crew did a great job. Our driving/delivery team got stuck in the horrible mess on I95 but were thankfully able to stay safe and kept in touch with me about their progress and also did a great job. Unloading went smoothly.

Not everything is unpacked yet, but the furniture is all undamaged and nothing has been broken including all delicate kitchen glassware. A great local business that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again.

I recently used Truckin' Movers for a long distance move from NC to NYC and from Noelle in the main office to Brad who completed my move estimate to my move team - it was an amazing process. I've moved several times with the military and as a civilian and this move was, by far, the best one yet. Hands down. Terry, Milton, Alfonso, John and Jarvis showed up on time and loaded all of my belongings in my 1-bedroom apartment in 2 hours.

They worked fast while also taking EXCELLENT care of all of my belongings - they all took their time to wrap every piece of furniture carefully. They were all also so respectful and kind. Terry and Milton then drove my belongings up to NYC that afternoon/evening and unloaded the next morning in 3 hours. Again, so so well done, they were so careful with every piece of furniture and every box.

They were so fast, efficient and thoughtful and all of my furniture and boxes arrives without any damage. I would ABSOLUTELY use Truckin' Movers again and would request this same crew! True professionals who care about taking care of the customer and their belongings.

The Operations Manager, Mr. Brad Cave really touched my heart with his excellent customer service skills. We were planning an interstate move from San Diego, CA to Raleigh, N.C. It seemed like a daunting idea until our friend Kevin suggested we use Truckin' Movers. Our first call was with Noelle, she listened carefully, was patient and reassured us that our move would be well taken care of. It was early in the game and I was still a skeptic, but she set up our first appointment with Brad who would be handling all of the logistics of our move.

He gave us some pointers, as we were going to pack our household and business ourselves and would need storage until we purchased our home. Further along we worked with Brad to survey our household and business items so he could provide a quote and tidy up the logistic of it all. From the first call, through all the details and logistics the entire crew worked like a well-oiled machine.

Needed a move with little notice. They got me in and got it done. Movers showed me any damage they noticed before they moved items and were careful. They were very polite, well groomed and did more than expected of them. I would use this company again.

I've moved 10 times in the military. Truckin's Movers worked extremely hard, took care of my belongings, and were polite and professional throughout the move. They guaranteed a direct shipment and delivery date, which the larger companies would not do, AND beat their price. I highly recommend them for your moving needs.

I recently had a local move with Truckin' Movers. They were professional, on time, respectful to me and my wife, and took good care of our things. They came in hours under our estimated time. Moving is the worst, and Truckin' Movers made it the best! I have moved coast-to-coast twice, and north-to-south twice and Truckin' has by far been the best experience. We had a complicated move both on origination and destination sides - narrow streets, odd access points, weird houses, etc. - and Truckin' Movers handled it like pros.

Our cross-state move was on-time, efficient, and effective. No items were damaged or broken, and the Truckin' Movers team was a breeze and so enjoyable to work with - from the office manager to the operations manager to the movers themselves. I think this may be the nicest moving company I've ever worked with. We will definitely use Truckin' again for our next move and highly recommend them to everyone else!

I have moved twice in the last 4 months. The first time, I used a different company and the 2nd time, I used Truckin' Movers. I was disappointed in the first company so opted to find a different company the second time. The team of 4 at Truckin' Movers were fantastic! We had belongings in 3 places that required picking up and moving into our new house.

They were timely and efficient. They were very careful with all of our belongings. They were also respectful of COVID guidelines. I would highly recommend them and would use them again if we were to ever move again. I have already recommended them to someone I know who is moving. Also, the price was right!

I had a great experience with Truckin' Movers. Unable to return to my apartment in the midst of a pandemic, Brad FaceTimed with me. We went drawer by drawer, room by room, sorting out what I needed to have transported from my apartment in Chapel Hill to my family's home in Miami. They kept to their promised timeline, taking care of the entire moving process for us.

These are unusual times and unusual circumstances, so I was very happy with the time Brad and the team took with us. All of my belongings arrived undamaged and perfectly packed!

We use Truckin' Movers to move locally in several stages (including de-cluttering our house prior to selling it, moving all of our furniture/possessions into storage, and then finally unloading in new house 1.5 months later). Brad provided excellent service to arrange everything and provided us with very accurate estimates prior to getting started.

The moving crew was extremely professional, tidy, and handled everything with great care. We used full service moving and were incredibly impressed with how they packed and unpacked everything. We would not hesitate to recommend!

This was our second move with Truckin! This time, they relocated our household goods from UT to NJ. We had a two different Crew Chief's for our move James in Utah and Robert in New Jersey. Both were so professional that we had a seamless transition between the two sites while we made this huge change. UPDATE: Our move occurred in the middle of June. After initially posting this review, TM got much more cooperative. They paid for someone to come out and repair our furniture, and he did a great job. Around HALLOWEEN we finally got our floor fixed. Now they are harassing me about updating my review. It's true that after 4 1/2 months they finally fixed everything they could.

However some things (my lost and broken jewelry, my expensive vacuum that is now missing the attachments, glasses, etc) will never be fixed or replaced. Not to mention all the time and stress I spent dealing with this. I have updated my review, but I am not changing my mind. I wouldn't recommend TM to my worst enemy.

Truckin' Movers did a great job with my move from North Carolina to Georgia. Brad was great over the phone to organize the move and work through the estimate, which ended up being within 2% of the final price. Terry and his crew did a fantastic job packing up my furniture and unloading the truck at my new place. Friendly, fast, and courteous service - highly recommended.

We moved cross country from Durham to Seattle. Truckin Movers were excellent and easy to work with. We are senior citizens and have limited strength. At both ends of the trip the crew was patient and helpful and took care of our things. They clearly worked hard and steadily to get the job done.

I had a great experience with Truckin' Movers. I had a local move and the movers were on time, responsible and professional. They got a large futon frame through a tricky winding staircase and handled all the details so I didn't have to. I would definitely recommend them without reservations!

Brad and the team at Truckin movers were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC for our local move here in Durham in August 2018. We had pre-loaded (completely maxed out) a 20' storage container and then I contacted Brad (Ops Mgr) with the remaining items we needed to move. He determined an (ultra competitive) hourly rate for moving the remaining large items and unpacking the 20' container which we had sitting at the new house in the driveway on moving day.

He was able to accommodate a Saturday move for us (on short notice) and sent a 5 man team who must have been the all-star team. The team consisted of our crew leader Terry, along with Alfredo/Alfonso/Milton/ and Hugo. It was blistering hot and these guys were supermen. The new house has 2 steep stairways to get to the 3rd floor and the walk in attic and they put everything where we directed them to.

They were very personable, professional, and courteous and you couldn't tell if they were absolutely wiped out because they kept powering thru until the job was done. We provided some breakfast snacks, water and Gatorade along with some lunch to show our appreciation of the hard work they were doing (along with a nice tip at the end). They finished early in the afternoon and made sure we were 100% SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING before they left.

I hope we don't have to move again, but if we do, it will be with Truckin Movers! Great job Brad and team Truckin! By the way Terry, since I am former Army, I choose Army over the Marines any day of the week. Just kidding, were all brothers and sisters in the military. Thank you for your family's service! Truckin Movers was the only company we would trust with moving our items from North Carolina down to Florida. From beginning to end the entire team was professional, trustworthy and caring about our stuff. It was also great to not have to wait many days for our things to arrive like with other movers but having the peace of mind to know that our truck would deliver the next day was phenomenal. Called 03/08/18 around 12:30 PM and provided detailed information and responses to their question concerning my upcoming move and storage needs and was told someone would contact me shortly to provide further info and cost estimates.today is 03/13/18 and still no follow-up. Not very reliable

If moving could ever be an enjoyable process, Truckin' Movers provided it for my recent out-of-state move. I should know, I've moved all over the country, and almost without exception it's been a stressful and often damaging experience. The folks at Truckin' Movers (Brad, James, Wayne and Alfonso) were all tremendously attentive and helpful, as well as professional and efficient. I was amazed that they actually cared about my items in terms of placement and handling. Truckin' Movers is a top notch company and I will recommend them highly.

I was moving my family from a high rise condo and nearby storage unit in downtown Chicago to Cary, NC with a one month stay in storage before completing the move. The team I worked with (Brad, Rob, and Chad) was fantastic from start to finish. This was a complicated move and my family had little time to plan and pack ourselves. I was looking for someone to come and move and partial pack my condo as well as contents of a storage unit, then put everything into storage, until we could move into our new home a month later. Brad was very helpful in assessing the move and helping me think through move dates and logistics.

He was also very reassuring that his team could handle the move from coordinating with our condo requirements and storage, as well as delivering on dates we agreed upon. I trusted him implicitly from the start and was not disappointed. The moving team was courteous, respectful and careful. They didn't hustle but took the time they needed to do the job WELL!

The packing of my kitchen was meticulous. Really! I was very impressed when unpacking a month later. Not a single item was damaged or broken through the entire move. They also seemed respectful of my overall home, cleaning after themselves and generally being thoughtful. Finally, they were dead on with their estimate and the final cost. No surprises which I appreciated.

They were not the cheapest estimate that I was confident that they would deliver and they did. I was so impressed by how well it went that I have recommended Truckin to a friend making a similar move. Moving sucks - these guys make it as easy as you can hope for. Only suggestion would be to let them pack. The boxes they packed fared beautifully in the move. Some of the boxes we over/under packed ourselves with flimsy taping looked a bit tried. If you can afford it, leave it to them!

Pros: - The move went reasonably well - The movers were friendly and honest - The price was also reasonable Cons: - The movers where about an hour or so late, no one called me to let me know - One of my brand new pieces of wood furniture got a few noticeable dents/scratched in it. The workers admitted to it as I pointed it out. They told me to just sign their paperwork saying there was some damage, and I did that.

Today I got an email from them about the "Claims" process. The claims process was riddled with enough red tape that I'd probably need to get an attorney involved to just make sure I'm not completely forfeiting all my rights. Seeing how overly complicated it is, I'm sure I'm just going to have to live with damaged furniture, and I'm sure this is their objective. - When I booked the move, I was told that there's an extra charge that applies to heavy furniture ( safes, pianos, etc).

They also said that this extra fee goes "straight" to the workers that were involved in moving that piece of furniture. Well, on the day of the move, one of the movers admitted to me that the workers don't actually get the full extra amount. He said that the company skims some off the top. This was extremely disappointing to me. Before I found this out, I was perfectly OK paying the "heavy carry" charge as they called it, because I thought it went to the guys hurting themselves to do it.

This to me sounds like one of those news headlines you see in the afternoon, "Local company lies to it's customers, short changes its employees. Full story at 11:00" ***Since writing this review, the owner has called me and said that their workers are getting their money. There's really no good way for me to know. Also, someone else from this company has been non-stop hounding me about changing my review (phone calls, emails, etc).

My opinion would be, that's why there are so few low-ratings for them. Summary: - I'm certain almost all moves have some amount of minor damage. I chose this company because I thought I might get by damage-free. When I last moved a few years ago, I used another local company called Trosa. Yes, they damaged a piece of wood furniture also. However, the BIG difference is that they said "No Problem" and loaded it right back up on the truck and brought it back to me a few days later and I couldn't even tell it had been damaged.

I still have that piece of furniture and it looks great. - I didn't go to law school, but I wish I had after reading their claims process. I wouldn't have even written a review if I hadn't gotten the email containing their claims process. But I thought the short changing of their employees was worth mentioning as well. I'm always lazy to write a review but I made an extensive yelp search when I was looking for a moving company and I appreciated the reviews so I want to pay forward. I moved from Durham to Chicago and I had to store my stuff for a while because I didn't know where I was going to move and went overseas between moves. Thom made a pretty good estimation, and then suggested me what would be the cheapest option for me.

What I appreciated the most was that they gave me an exact date for when to deliver - and they did deliver indeed on that day. I read horror stories about how people's stuff arrived late so I was very scared beforehand. Well one more thing - actually because I didn't have a lot of things, they shipped my stuff with FedEx and then let another local company bring things in Chicago and the company they work with, Hunt the Move was also very good. So, overall, I did not have any bad experience with this move which is amazing. So, if you want to go safe, go with Truckin Movers. I highly recommend them.
