In true Boulder spirit, The Moving Connection was born not out of a calculated business decision, but from the demise of a rock band. The year was 1989 and drummer Glen McGinty suddenly found himself to be the sole proprietor of a big purple truck that the band had used to haul around its equipment.

You can expect the crew to arrive at a quarter to 9:00 or 9:00 for moves in and close to Boulder; later if you are further away. It depends on the amount of packing that needs to be done. If there is a significant amount of packing, it should be done prior to the day you move. That way you will be ready to go when we arrive.

I had a good experience from initial to final communication. Scheduling was prompt and I had two questions about changes which we implemented into my order along the way. The movers arrived promptly. The challenge was moving our largest and heaviest items from the basement, ground and second floor to the garage. Not only did they recommend shrink wrapping everything, they shrink wrapped and organized the items already in the garage to better organize the overall move. No damage occurred to anything or the house. Their recommendation and effort made the estate sale pick up proceed smoothly. I would definitely use them again.
