TLC Moving Services has a variety of packing materials and we offer full packing service of your items. Proper packing is the most important step in safely transporting your belongings. Our Staff is fully trained in the best packing techniques. We offer a service using plastic Shrink-wrap to protect your furniture from soiling, moisture, and even snags and tears that can happen during the move. We take extra care so you can enjoy peace of mind. Extra sturdy carton for breakables such as china and dishes, crystal and glassware.
Before loading most cartons, you'll need to wrap many items to protect them from scratching or breakage. There are a variety of materials available, including bubble pack, foam peanuts and tissue. 2. However, most often the professionals use clean, unprinted newsprint. Place a small stack of newsprint on a flat, uncluttered table or countertop.

This was my first time using a moving service, and I'm glad I chose TLC, Tony and the rest of the guys really care about the customer and your property, they shrunk wrap and padded my furniture for the move, I was really impressed by Joseph and his crew, I will definitely use their services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Great rates and they'll take the burden of moving off your shoulders

I hired these guys with the not so unrealistic expectation of hiring movers whom were not physically handicapped. One of the gouts looked to be about 55-60 years old, bow legged with a gimpy leg, and limped around from this malady as well as a bad back. It took this crew FOUR HOURS to load up a very small one bedroom apartment. Perhaps the most offensive part of the experience was the supervisor Immediately - and I mean immediately - started breaking my balls for a 25%-30% tip!

Before anyone even lifted a finger! They ended up taking a big Chuck of wood out of my landlords door frame and broke not one but two of my 27 computer monitors for which they have yet to compensate me for 2 weeks after the move. I even packed them in the original boxes with styrofoam packing material and they still managed to break them. The owner said he'd call me back concerning replacing them for me and I never heard from him again. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!

They have an old hobbled staff of movers so will milk you dry and shame you into tipping their shitty movers. The supervisor was really high pressure about this and tried to guilt me into a 30% tip by telling me that the owner hardly pays them anything and that they really rely on tips to earn a living. This place is a joke. It was cheaper for me to move from Columbus, OH to Seattle, WA than it was for me to move from the San Fernando Valley to Huntington Beach with these chumps. $1525 because they had a decrepit, crippled staff to move furniture. AVOID AT ALL POSSIBLE COSTS. THEIR HOURLY RATE IS CHEAPER THAN ANYONE ELSE BUT IT TAKES THEM TWICE AS LONG AS ANYONE ELSE SO YOU END UP PAYING MORE! DO NOT USE!

This is a two part/two day review: Tony contacted me the week prior to my move and we agreed on pricing logistics etc. We worked out details on he phone & via e-mail. There were no surprises. Not a problem. Pricing was excellent and I didn't need to haggle: straight up honest pricing for man power/hours w/ 5% discount for cash & one way drive time.

You cannot get better. Best of all, Tony didn't ask me to measure the size of my furniture, calculate volume of area, count items (boxes), or create an elaborate inventory check list. I packed 90% of my belongings (and color-coded the boxes by room) myself (I'm an artist; 150+ boxes of fragile crap & art supplies), I even provided 4 rolls of shrink-wrap; but as moving day came closer (and I had already moved the majority of my artwork & valuables), I had a feeling that 1 truck wasn't going to do the job (even packing my vehicle). Tony came out Thursday & assured me one truck would suffice. LOL Friday, August 27th 2021, the crew arrived: Joseph, Solomon, Milky, Francisco, & Antonio; seriously one could not ask for a better more professional and RESPECTFUL (note this) crew.

I worked beside them still packing) as they filled the truck. All of them asked me how I wanted my belongings handled & packed. Not one of those men complained, bossed me, nor disrespected me when I indicated which boxes went into my vehicle. I was included in all decisions of the disposition of my belongings and the logistics of my move. All ya'll Receive FIVE STARS! Now, here's the ugly: I went back on Sunday the 29th to finish up, but it was 104o by 2:00 pm, so we were too wiped out to pack much of the remainder (but still I moved several boxes on my own). Monday, August 30th: the 2 person (I'll not say "man") crew was scheduled to arrive no later than 9:30 am: they arrived after 10:00.

I expected two of the same movers & Joseph: Fugly surprise:; some young, disrespectful, macho kid (young enough to be my child) David & an older man, Thomas arrived. This, kid, came in and started bossing me around: telling me that he was the supervisor & how he was going to do things, completely ignoring me and the fact that I was paying him to work for me.

He told me, in no uncertain terms, that he was not going to let me put/move any of my boxes in my vehicle. Hello! So, I politely said: "If this is going to be a problem, you might want to leave and send another crew". He went outside & made a phone call. He then returned and we went over the contract (his disrespectful macho attitude still very much in evidence).

He (David) then informed me that he was going to pack EVERYTHING in wardrobe boxes. At that point, I was finished with him & his arrogant disrespectful attitude; I told him he needed to get someone else to work with me. He stormed away & said: "I'm going to call Tony!"; but not before complaining to Thomas about me in Spanish. He just assumed (given my pale complexion) that I am not multi-lingual and understood him: Surprise!

After some time Tony arrived & let me know that Joseph was on his way to replace the kid. Tony helped move some of my boxes & plants downstairs. But what Tony did not do was apologize for his employee's arrogant behavior towards me. So, Joseph came & worked with Thomas to pack my remaining belongings: Am I happy? No! Why not? All of my remaining boxes & belongings were haphazardly packed into tall wardrobe boxes, without much concern or care and I am unable to lift the heavier items out of the wardrobes. Basically, I can tell, the idea was: "Get 'er done!

Forget the fragility, disposition, & which side is up". I don't care that some of my furniture is still out on the patio: but I sure as Hades care that some of it is Upside down! I care that a full 3 gallon (24+ lb.) water-bottle was in a wardrobe box & I needed help to lift it out. I certainly care that a 20x30 glassed photo is in a wardrobe box w/ heavy stuff leaning against it.

I care that boxes are turned on their side & taped to other items. I care about the sloppiness of the Monday crew: if you are not going to do a job correctly & with respect to the items you are packing/moving; you're in the wrong job and need to leave it to others. I did pay extra for trash hauling (which was worth it). I fed the crew snacks & a late lunch, I left a generous tip for all of both crews (which after I opened the wardrobe boxes from Monday's move, I now regret I did for Thomas).

The cost was minimal in comparison to other companies and well worth it. I cannot say too many times that Friday's crew was Outstanding. Would I use TLC again? Knowing what I know & have experienced? Unequivocally Yes; with the qualifications that I work with Solomon, Milky, Antonio, Francisco & Joseph ONLY.

Very pricey at the end of the day. They keep the price in limbo for occurring cost to reach a final tally. At the end of the process is a zinger! They had no problem hitting you hard in an Covid economic climate. This company should not be your first or second option. No matter what they promised or quote you for the initial service it will severely escalate at the end.

Meant to write this on the day of the actual move which was March 3rd 2021. These guys did a really awesome job for my daughters move! JOSEPH, SOLOMON DAVID & ANTONIO. They wrapped everything carefully, nothing broken or damaged. The pricing was very good too. These guys are honest and hard working and this was a tough move. We also provided lunch for them in addition to tipping each person. I would highly reccomend them!

Joseph, Antonio and Salomon helped load up our pod for our move across the country and they were fantastic! They were very friendly, patient, professional and caring. TLC MOVERS.Tony and his company are the best! From the moment I spoke to Tony. He put my mind at ease. He personally came to see my place and gave a quote and I accepted and it was on and popping. Great team of guys that got after it for our move. Tony was a nice guy, worth always asking the boss if you are unsure about anything. Willing to work with you. Cesar and David were considerate of where things go and if anything was breakable. Would hire these guys again.

Highly recommend TLC Always Moving. They were quick to respond with a quote that was significantly better priced than other quotes we had received, and our furniture was delivered (interstate) the very next day. Communication was excellent and the furniture arrived in perfect condition.

Late review (with moving and all). Awesome guys. Got our whole two-story house wrapped, taped, disassembled (if needed), loaded, relocated, and unloaded with professional care and in less time than estimated. Cesar and David even went out of their way to ensure all my family's beds were all setup and ready so the kids could sleep. Definitely recommend.

They appear very nice and professional at the beginning. HOWEVER, they will overcharge you. My brother and I were moving from a small 2 bedroom apartment to another apartment only 1 mile away. We also helped move and unpack a majority of the time. In total it took 6 hours. Initially they quoted us at $140 per hour which SHOULD HAVE equaled $840. When all was said and done, they had several hidden fees.

They charged us $175 extra because our apartment was 75 feet away from the street. How is that our fault? They also charge for every piece of tape, box, and shrink wrap they used. It was $45 per roll of shrink wrap! When all was said and done a job that should have been $840 cost $1445. Last time I moved it was about $800 total. Completely overpriced and a rip off.

They PISSED ON THE FLOOR of my 75 year old grandmother's house! As if over charging her by DOUBLE to move from one unit to another in the same complex wasnt insulting enough, one of these men (Roberto, Antonio, Ronald) had the audacity to intentionally urinate on her floor! Are you F*****G kidding me?!?!?! I wish she had told me about this company before she hired them cause based on the other reviews here, this place is clearly low balling their estimates and then price gouging after the work is done.

But I never in a million years would think that any so called professional would PEE ON THINGS LIKE A DOG! And now you refuse to reply to emails or calls?! You dont treat people this way, let alone customers! I wish I could give this place negative stars. This business wont survive. Guaranteed. Terrible service, terrible customer service, disgusting employees/human beings. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Highly recommend this company. Very happy with communication and cost of removal. Only had 7 boxes and a guitar to move from Brisbane to Melbourne for my daughter who is attending uni down there. Everything was handled with care and looked after. (My daughter was stressed about the removal of her guitar and it was evident it was taken care of) They were on time with pick up and drop off. Will definitely use again and recommend to anyone. Thanks

Communication from the Victorian branch of this company was poor. They neglected to inform me that they only deliver to my area on a Thursday. After weeks of failed delivery next day texts (including for a Wednesday), there was no solution offered for a shiftworker who needs to be at home to accept this delivery. I asked for more notice than the afternoon prior and was told that "this is how the company operates and it works for 99% of the population". All of this frustration and my poor review could have been avoided by communicating specific delivery days from the outset.

Have been using for years, much more reliable than the bigger players and affordable too. Staff are chosen carefully by the owner and every piece is handled delicately and with care. Would not consider using anyone else for freight along the east coast or Brisbane local.

I had some very expensive pieces of furniture I purchased from Canalside Interiors in Sydney delivered to my home in Brisbane. TLC were professional, prompt and took great care of my furniture. Items were picked up in the Monday and delivered by Wednesday. Will definitely use these guys again.
