I apologize for the U-haul call center, local location mix up. I called the 208 number listed but may have been routed to the call center anyways. They really should be able to say "yes we do a general inspection on the vehicles, " or "all locations are expected to do so."

Excellent service, very thorough on the paperwork and policies on the storage units. Well priced units.

The managers do a good job. The only problem I have with the place is the mandatory insurance. And when you try to file a claim, they have a pdf conversion required. It smells like a scam. 800 units x $9. $7200 month pure profit.

Staff is very nice, cost is competitive and many locations to choose from.

No idea how this business gets such high ratings. The units are old, smaller than advertised, and poorly supported. When I opened my "10 x 12" unit to store my stuff, a few boxes I'd left a few days earlier were wet and sitting in a puddle. The door was almost impossible to open and the unit sits on uneven asphalt, not a separate concrete pad, which is why water seeps in under the walls.

I had to immediately reserve a new space at the Ustick Meridian location to avoid paying $100 a day for rental truck late fees and had to scramble the next day just to get everything unloaded in time. I've sent a text message and left a voicemail and still haven't received a response 4 days later. The units in Meridian are far nicer and newer. Stay away from this location.

The location is not worth the terrible unit and the poor service. Follow-up: Below, you'll see the owner's response. First, the maintenance should have been done after the last move out, not after I tried to move in. The unit is 9' 4" x 11' 3" using a measuring tape. 'We' did not find a new unit for me, I did, At 5 pm. The day before my truck was due at 10:30 am before I had to pay $100/day late fee.

They 'reached out' five days after I left a message, a voice mail, and an e-mail. They offered a larger refund if I was willing to change my review. Not an apology for the inconvenience or stress their damaged unit caused me. Unfortunately for them, my honest opinion is not for sale. They're only interested in making excuses, not service. Stay away. The UStick location in Meridian has been great so far. Go there.

The front desk crew at stor-it has impressed both my husband and myself with their professionalism and courteous attitude. We were in need of several climate controlled units for an unknown period of time. An employee of one of their non climate controlled facilities directed me to their Boise location and I was able to line up what we needed. When.

I needed to grab another unit they contacted me immediately when my name came up on the waiting list. The facility is clean and seems well managed. One of the best customer service experiences we've had in Idaho. A special shoutout to Cole who has gone above and beyond to help!

So far, so great, this establishment really does deliver when it comes down to providing necessary storage and like-needs! The 24/7/365 premise-monitoring is very good, motion-sensor lights active in each spot that really counts at nighttime/before sunrise. My items are safe, they stay perfectly-dry, there is plenty of space for everything to remain stationary without unnecessary clutter or movement from neighboring units' activities. Josh & Christie run the place quite well to say the least, and they're friendly-professional, a real delight to know. Highly recommended!

Everyone from employee to management was great. they are easy to talk to and deal with. they have my best interest at heart. good job to the them.

Josh and Christie are awesome. Josh always called me without fail whenever a unit became available as I asked him to keep me whenever one became available. Excellent service, attention to detail in everything. Highly recommend.

I found renting my storage space from Stor-It to be a simple and easy process. Jayson was very helpful and made it a pleasant experience rather than just a chore I needed to take care of, very satisfied.

Great place that is well kept and the on site couple make a great team while being respectful and polite they are the icing on the storage cake! This place is a true 24/7 at your convenience which is hard to find. They take care of any problems especially billing problems that might arise with professional timely resolution. Personally I drive a little out of my way to be here at this site.

The guy at the facility in Caldwell is dumber then a box of rocks. Went to move our boat from Caldwell to new location in Nampa. He couldn't just get the information from the lease we currently have, had to get my husbands ID again, he took a picture not sure what happened to the first one. In general just doesn't have a clue.

They refused to let us cut OUR lock off of OUR unit and the account was paid up and was never late. Then when I cut it off anyway because I could not wait 2 days for them to do it, they called the police. Total jerks and rude as hell. Store somewhere else!
