Careful with our items and worked hard. We had a lot of difficult items and really went the extra mile to get everything where we wanted them. Speedy movers was wonderful to work with when I called last minute for a move. I called about a week before I needed moving help and too my surprise they were able to get me a quote that same week and have me all moved the following Tuesday! Speedy Movers will protect your furniture with our heavy duty storage blankets in your home prior to transportation. We also carry stretch wrap if your items need an extra layer of protection. Don't worry; your stuff is safe with us. Our local flat rate, one time 30 minute travel fee covers us getting to your move location, and getting back to our office from your drop off location. If you are moving out of town, the actual travel time to/from our office will prevail. We pride ourselves in giving upfront pricing, no surprises.

In the past I have had nightmare experiences with moving company's. Either not responding, not showing up on moving day, and charging more at the end for unforeseen or unexpected costs. NOT SPEEDY MOVERS! They were amazing from the start. They got me booked in a very short time frame. They were kind and respectful during the quote and booking process.
They called exactly when they said they would to confirm. They showed up on time. They were careful with my belongings but at the same time fast and efficient with moving. The movers were very respectful while in my home and very kind during the move. 15 out of 10! I would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone in the area of tri-cities.

UPDATE 6/27/22 - I still do not have my things. Once I receive my items I'll update the review. Sales keeps pressuring customers to leave good reviews before they complete the job. I cannot recommend Speedy Movers at this point. Remember, my things were loaded into a Speedy Movers truck on May 23. I still do not have my things on 6/27/22. UPDATE: 6/13/22 -- Derrick the sales manager called to explain what was going on.
I appreciate the communication. My things will arrive later than expected but I'm ok with that, just needed to know my things weren't lost and needed a ballpark delivery date. Original Review: These movers are fast to load a truck but they stop all contact after that. No one will answer the phone and no one returns messages. They've had my things and $7000 since May 23.

We hired Speedy Movers so that we didn't have to do any heavy lifting during our move. In that respect, they were incredibly helpful and generally "speedy". However, a piece of furniture was damaged during the move. We were assured they would get us reimbursed quickly so the piece could be replaced. After completing a claim form and speaking with them, we waited to hear back.
During this time we noticed that we were over charged on our moving invoice. While following up on the damage claim, I spoke with a manager about the invoice. We had been charged for 3 movers, but only had 2 that day. He agreed and assured me the difference would be refunded and a check for the damaged piece would be in the mail that week. After waiting a couple more weeks, we had received nothing.
I made several calls to their office but nobody that could help me was ever there. Their receptionists were always helpful and assured me the team was working on it. They shared a mobile number with me and I got in touch with someone who told me he would take care of it and confirm with me the next day. I never heard back. I called the following week on multiple occasions.

Overall, a good experience. As with any movers, there are experienced movers and minimal to no experience movers. The experienced guys did a great job and did their best to watch the others. The newer movers used a lot more material than they should have and the wrong size boxes for what the were packing. For example, used a lot of small boxes for lightweight items instead of saving them for heavier items.
The lead mover had to go back and get material twice which leads me to my next issue. The guy that came and quoted us was grossly under on his bid, both cost and material. He came out and went through our house for the quote and when we moved, we were about 35% higher than quoted. The original quote to move was 8 guys and 9 hours which ended up with 7 guys and 12.5 hours.
I didn look too deep into the billing, but make sure you do. They billed by the hour and im not sure it was adjusted for 1 less person. My quote was originally for 8 guys and 7 showed up. Another issue was the company did not provide tape guns and they had to tape by hand which takes a lot longer. Most of the boxes were marked by room but not itemized meaning marked pots and pans, utensils, etc. Whichade it difficult to find just the basics.
Our furniture is electric and none of the plugs were with the couches. Took us 3 days of unpacking to find them in random boxes, still missing a remote. I knew better but was running all over and forgot to put that stuff in our vehicles. We had a local move so i wasnt concerned about an inventory, but if i was moving out of state, i would have wanted one.
All they did was count boxes. I've moved multiple times in the military with movers and they had a numbered tag system that was awesome. They might think about something like that. Had a freak accident where a guy cut himself pretty bad and didnt realize it and bled on our carpet and a piece of glass broke on an antique hutch (i expected something to break).
They were quick to address both issues and in the end made it right so i was pleased about that. I would use them again, but would make sure things were marked better and take the remotes and things like that with me.

This is a great local business. We had a move in early March. They were able to accommodate our time-lime. When things changed on their end they gave us plenty of notice and acceptable option. They were careful of our possessions and of our home. I appreciate them going the extra mile to take care of our wine collection overnight. The crew asked questions and got everything in the right place upon deliver.

The day before our move, we were contacted by Speedy Movers to switch our move window from 10am-12pm to 1pm-3pm. Sure, no big deal. The next day, I get a call at 1:15, so I answer and ask if they have arrived. Nope! They were calling to let me know that the only guy who was available to do our move was stuck out of town and they weren't sure when he'd be able to do the move?
I said let's go ahead and cancel my service, but Thomas assured me they might still be able to do it, and asked if he could call me back after talking to his guy. I waited for 35 minutes, and then decided to cancel service anyways, as it was 2:00 and I took the day off to move. Called College Hunks moving and they got to my place 20 minutes later and had the move done in an hour and a half. I recommend them tenfold over this place.

After I left my review, someone from Speedy Movers emailed me asking to talk about the review and to let him know when was a good time. I emailed back with the information and I never received a call from him. He emailed me again 2.5 weeks later asking me when he can contact me as he hadn't heard. I let him know that I had responded and never received a call, he told me he did not see my email back.
I again gave him a good date/time for a call which he responded saying, "I will give you a call today", and wouldn't you know. NO CALL from him. No correspondence since then, 12/2021. Worst company and customer service. Do not recommend.

UPDATE TO REVIEW 1 18 2022. After I wrote a letter expressing concern about the below outlined experience. I received a call from a manager- Derek. Derek worked hard to make the situation right and resolve my concern. As a result of his company's willingness to resolve a consumers concern, I am now willing to endorse their services in this area.
I appreciate a business who works to insure their company makes their consumers happy. I appreciate Derek and his efforts to resolve my concerns. ************************************* We engaged this company to move a senior from one building to the next. We were quoted 2 - 3 hrs max. It took a team of 3 over 6 hrs to accomplish the move of a 1 bedroom 500 sq foot apt.
When they were checked on by our team, because this task was obviously taking way too long, they were found sitting or supervising one guy actually working;; they would get defensive when we would enquire as to the time that was being used. For a 2-3 hour job a lunch break and even a 15 minute break did not seem warranted as they defensively answered when asked about length of time.
They then proceeded to charge the credit card used for the deposit, when it was NOT indicated that automatic payment was authorized. Calls and a letter resulted in no response to our concerns. Please monitor them your entire move if you engage this organization. Would not encourage seniors to use this resource and for sure make sure they understand automatic payment is NOT authorized.

Absolutely worst movers ever. They left 2 full pickup truck loads at the old house. Also wouldn't return phone calls for 3months. When we finely got a response they wouldn't negotiate the bill. After agree 1 price they charged my card for additional amount. With out authorization or letting me know.

Planning was horrendous. But the movers hustled and got it done. We tried to plan our move 2 months in advance, as we had 2 moving trucks going to different locations. We were constantly dismissed, and felt Derrick didn't care, or want our business. We were told he would call us back, he even set up call back times, and never received a return phone call.
Instead of giving up, we decided to give the company one last chance, and FINALLY received an estimate and confirmed movers for our Moving date. Moving day came, and the workers had no idea what the plan was supposed to be. Even though they didn't receive the details involved, the movers (Dylan, Chris, and Steven) came up with a game plan, and executed it.
They worked very hard and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. If I could rate just the movers (Dylan, Chris, and Steven), they would get 5 stars. Management and Planning would receive 1 to 2 stars. We were initially excited to hire Speedy Movers for our move, as a family member recently used them and gave them rave reviews. Poor planning and management of our move has changed our minds about hiring Speedy Movers, and might have convinced us to do it ourselves next time.

These guys were all-around amazing! They arrived about 30 minutes early (which I had ok'd). They had my son all packed up and we were on way to new house in 35 minutes (a one-room assisted living move to new assisted living house). Then this local move got really messed up really fast when acceptance at new location was put in question. The new House's head office couldn't decide if my son was a good fit for them (even though move was already approved and we had arrived with all his stuff).
For over 2 hours, I had to keep going outside to tell movers I had no idea what to do with son's stuff. They were so super patient, caring, and professional. Eventually they (the new house) ended up sending him "temporarily" to Pasco (across the river) until they made final decision. So with continued caring, patient professionalism, they drove to new location, and then around the block (we were given wrong address), and got my son completely set up in new room.
Throughout this horrible situation, they were so sweet to not create additional stress for me by being so compassionate and patient. Then the main office was very generous by barely charging any extra even though the move took over 2 hours more than scheduled. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FROM ESTIMATE, MOVER CREW, TO FRONT OFFICE! This business really cares about its customers. So very grateful!

Used speedy for a short move to Montana. After an initial problem with man power a team of 2 guys stayed late the first day to get most of the house packed. The next day more people and trucks were there. The house was loaded and unloaded at my new home 3 hours away. Again the crews worked late to get everything unloaded. I was able to keep my work schedule and while the move did not go to original schedule we still got unloaded on the right day. Communication from the main office could have been slightly better on the first day when the manpower issues came up.

Moving crew was amazing, Devyn, Jaime, Skyler, and Camren worked very hard. They covered stair hand railing and door jambs with moving blankets. Great care was taken to safeguard furniture and the house. They showed a lot of respect and care for our property. Highly recommended for moves near and far.

Great communication before the move. They worked with a very tight time line, called and confirmed the day before and texted 5 minutes before arrival. Robert and Skyler were very polite and worked hard. We moved on a very windy day which made it more difficult for the guys. They protected everything so well and placed items properly. We were very impressed and would use them for a third time.

Speedy indeed! I was efficiently moved in to my new house before breakfast, and for LESS then their estimate. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. These movers used a ton of furniture pads and plastic wrap to protect all my things. and I was only moving a couple miles! My furniture didn't get that degree of care when I moved across the country.
Upon entering the house, they literally rolled out red carpets to protect my new flooring as they worked. My move date fell smack in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and these movers all came wearing face masks and gloves and kept them on at all times. Hopefully, I won't have to move again for quite a while, but if I do, I'll definitely go with this company again and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of movers.

I don't usually post on Yelp -- you can see from my activity -- but felt it's important to share our experience with Speedy Movers. After hearing about our friends' movers from other parts of the country, we were a little nervous. However, Speedy Movers is top notch. My fiance and I needed their help with packing all our big items and loading all our things from a three bedroom home onto our U-Haul in Walla Walla. Starting from the first call to the movers coming on site, they were thorough, communicative, friendly, efficient and super organized.
Once they got on site, they hit the ground running and I could tell they had a lot of experience and knew exactly what they were doing. We moved out of WA but if we ever need movers again, we would expect our next ones to be 100% like Speedy Movers.

Tried reaching out to few companies before i found speedy. Being new to the area, didn't have much to go on and glad i stumbled upon them doing searches. They instantly got back to me with a quote (other companies, not so much, one i had to inquire a few times), and they followed up a multiple times to ensure everything was good. Scheduling was easy, truck was on time at pick up and the team that unloaded were great and very quick. Have zero complaints, would use again without hesitation. Great job!

I think a lot of people will be deterred by the initial quote, but shouldn't be! They are definitely speedy. I only needed the heavy items moved (king size bed (mattress and platform bed), queen size bed (mattress, box spring and bed rails), couch, loveseat, dresser, tv stand and coffee table). The movers arrived, disassembled, moved, and reassembled within an hour. The initial quote was for 4 hours and it only took 1. All staff was pleasant to work with and willing to negotiate the estimate.

The crew that moved us from our Pasco apartment to our new home in Kennewick was absolutely stellar. They arrived around 8:30 a.m. only to find out that we had scheduled both packing and moving services (there seemed to be some miscommunication with a new system being used). I completely understood the crew's initial frustration, but it never stopped them from providing excellent service throughout the day.
Once the packing was completed, the crew flew through the actual moving process in record time. The endeavor ended around 6:30 p.m. and the crew was outstanding on the unloading portion, especially. Aside from the fact that our quoted estimates that we signed wound up being rather significantly below what we ultimately paid (by about $400 on the first quote and $200 on a revised quote), we would still highly recommend Speedy Movers.
Once the packing was completed, the crew flew through the actual moving process in record time. The endeavor ended around 6:30 p.m. and the crew was outstanding on the unloading portion, especially. Literally had no idea what to expect. I called three different movers and from literally the minute the interaction with Speedy began they were personable, professional and amazing! Amazing service! This was the first time that I hired movers and instead of 2 movers, 3 showed up. Brett, Coop, and Sean were EXCELLENT. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. I can't say enough great things about them. They loaded all of my boxes/furniture for a 1 bedroom apartment in 45 minutes and that included going down stairs, half of the boxes and furniture in the house, and half of them in our shop.
The previous move I used the same size truck (16 ft) and it was packed to the door and I was worried that this go-around it wouldn't all fit, but they packed it so great that everything fit and I had plenty of space where I could unload what was packed in my car and put it in the van as well. I HIGHLY recommend these movers and I'm still amazed they finished in 45 minutes.

I am so impressed with Derrick and Kaleb - I had a move this past weekend and took care of my belongings in a very professional manner. Kaleb was exceptional carrying boxes of books and always polite. I moved to Richland from a major metropolitan city and was expecting over charging and rude behavior and nickel and dime for everything- boy was I wrong. The move went beyond my satisfaction and will recommend speedy movers. They really know what human kindness means. Thank you!
