Just hire them! Chris and his entire team at SC Moving are fast, friendly, and fun. They move quickly but they make sure every piece of furniture, kitchenware, and electronics is fully protected and safe for the move. They are kind and respectful with each other and with you. Moving in general can be a stressful event, but Chris and his crew will do their best to make it as easy as possible. We've used them twice since moving to Maine. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to work with SC Moving for our whole house move last week! They were consummate professionals and took the utmost care with our things. We hired them for packing and moving services, and my only regret was not hiring them to pack the kitchen as well. We are definitely giving them a call back when our in-laws move at the end of the summer. Worth every penny!

Did an estimate before we even started packing and guessed how many boxes we had. He seemed nice and accommodating. Turns out we needed to keep extra furniture and we had some extra boxes then the estimate. I called in advance of the move and notified him. He said he scheduled two other moves that same day and wasn't sure he could take everything.

But he gave me an estimate anyways quoting all the extra furniture and boxes. Now it's moving day. They first arrived 20 minutes late. Wouldn't be a big deal to me if they hadn't rushed the whole time because they were late to arrive and the extra moves they scheduled but during their rush they seemed a bit frustrated, handled my items a little rough, and not to mention all the stuff they couldn't fit in their box truck because there wasn't enough room despite me calling ahead and quoting me for taking everything.

Now I have to spend 2 days at my old place moving things they forgot with my truck which is a little ridiculous since we paid them to move us. I notified them ahead of time and I paid the difference of the separate quotes. Disappointed in the quality/professionalism.

We lucked into availability when we were looking for movers! SC Moving was available for our office move. Chris and his team are professional, friendly, punctual, and took excellent care with our things. They moved of out of one spaced and into our new space with speed and efficiency on a really hot day - without complaint and with smiles. We so appreciated SC Moving! We recommend them and would hire them again!

SC Moving Co isn't just a moving company, they are a moving PARTNER. I contacted several competitors for quotes, but SC Moving was the only company to call me up, make me feel comfortable, and give me an exact quote for packing and moving. Other movers weren't able to estimate costs, nor were they communicating as openly. The staff is personable and friendly, and they're never too busy to answer your questions. Moving can be stressful, especially during the pandemic, but the move was contact-free and all movers were wearing masks and were very respectful.

They made sure they understood my preferences and were constantly thinking ahead to accommodate my possible needs. Everything was completed efficiently and safely, all my furniture and belongings were wrapped with care - no damages to report. I can't recommend them enough - go with SC Moving!

Everything about this experience was A+, from initial booking to the day of service. Movers were young, quick, respectful, and professional. Wrapped everything up in plastic (that needed to be), moved quickly and without complaint. Their rating is no fluke. Wholehearted recommendation to all.

These guys are great! We have used them now 3 times and just scheduled their help with a couple of pieces of furniture that we need to have picked up and delivered. They do a great job packing and protecting items, are very flexible and all the guys are super friendly and personable! Highly recommend you check SC out if you need help moving!

We were moving instate (50 miles), I read S&C Moving reviews, was very impressed, called and set up an on site visit for estimation of service. Chris one of the owners came out. We went over all inventory to be moved and an estimate was provided within a day. Prices were fair and competitive. On move day(a hot July day in Maine), the guys showed up.

They were prompt, efficient, and courteous. They made this 3BR, whole house and full garage move look like child's play! They crushed it! We are so grateful to Matt, Dylan, Jay and DeSean. They went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend S&C Moving. Thanks so much!

Can't really rate as I used the request a quote system twice looking to hear from this company and never did. The web site states 100% call back. Not true. I wasted some valuable time and recommend the company review their software in case the problem is a glitch in the system, but it doesn't reflect well to state use this and it is 100% that you will hear from us. then not to respond.

I have used these guys 4 times and have no complaints! I have moved all over from Westbrook to Scarborough to Saco.

Chris and the team with SC Moving were great to work with, especially since we were moving into a house that wasn't completely finished yet and some stuff went into the house and the rest into the garage. They wrapped blankets on bulky items so they wouldn't damage walls or paint when bringing the stuff down to the truck.

These guys are great! Very considerate, fast, efficient and fair price. Myself and my girlfriend needed things moved from two locations to a new house and these young men were phenomenal. They were very careful to wrap anything fragile or with corners to avoid damage to the item or the walls of the house. A group of friendly and hard working people who I would recommend to anybody!
