The Relocation Center is a closely held private corporation headquartered in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area with regional sales and support offices in Dallas, Chicago and the panhandle of Florida. Our geographical reach for relocation services spans 6 continents and all 50 states. Our central headquarters operates as the coordination, accounting and operations center of the company.
Our relocation model offers a fixed-fee, high-touch, high-tech service at a fraction of the cost. Coordination is very important when relocating families and their household goods from point to point. The process must be thoroughly discussed and understood by all parties involved. The importance of relying on a SINGLE-SOURCE relocation coordinator to help your employee understand all of the variables cannot be overemphasized. Your coordinator knows that COMMUNICATION is the most important facet in assisting your employees.
The Relocation Center assists with household goods move management, real estate assistance, home buyouts, temporary housing and special destination solutions-all linked by an incredible commitment to customer service. We are a true single-source of contact and assign a personal Relocation Coordinator (RC) to handle each individual relocation.
Most van lines are strictly confined to using their own agents and are prohibited from using another carrier regardless of their performance record. On every individual relocation, TRC performs a needs analysis then selects a carrier based on your employee's individual needs and the strengths of the local agent at origin and destination as well as the van line and its traffic patterns.

I have used the Relocation Center twice-once for a move from North Caroline to Philadelphia and another from Philadelphia to Chicago. Both times, they took the stress out of the move. They helped with every step in the process from getting estimates from moving companies to checking in on the packing day, moving day, and unloading day. I highly recommend!

I have worked with the Relocation Center for 10+ years. RC handled a multiple employee relocation from one city to another with ease, professionalism, and integrity. RC made the relocation process easier for the employee and family so that the employee could continue to focus on the job rather than the stress of moving. While serving as VP of HR for a large privately owned business, I selected TRC to relocate our employees. This included new hires we relocated to Louisiana as well as current employees we moved within the state. TRC totally managed the move details coordinating all the events from packing to unpacking to bookkeeping. I sold my home and did not want to be pressured into buying something that did not fit all of my needs. I was referred to The Relocation Center. They immediately sent me several options. I opted to rent an executive condo on a month to month basis. It was fully furnished with everything from towels to pots and pans! All of my belongs were stored enabling me to send them directly to my new house once I purchased it. They took a difficult, stressful situation and made it easy! Thanks Relocation Center!

Horrible! They employ a RUDE agent, awful realtor, terrible, disorganized packers, and disgruntled movers. Worst move I've EVER had. Do NOT hire this company for your relocation needs. Subpar is an understatement. So much for taking the stress out of a move. We can't find ANYTHING, all boxes mislabeled, and the agent in charge of our move has absolutely NO accountability whatsoever. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is the client's fault. I would write more, but I'm saving all the details for the letter we will be writing to corporate headquarters! BEWARE!
