We had originally contacted a national shredding company but after receiving the run-around and a no-show, we had to find shredding services FAST as we were moving out of our office. We contacted R4 and explained the situation and they were there THE NEXT DAY to pick up our documents to shred, and at a MUCH MORE affordable rate! Superior, personalized customer service. I was called within minutes after submitting my online request. A truck dropped off my barrel a few days later. After it was filled with My documents, l called & the barrel was picked up the next day. Upon completion I RECEIVED A CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION. Reasonable prices and they took away our old storage boxes at no extra charge, while most shredding companies will not take the storage boxes away at all. Highly recommended!

I run a small law firm and needed to shred my clients' medical records. I contacted the shredding provider that my downtown building recommended and was quoted a ridiculous amount. Then one day I was walking to work and saw R4's truck on Dearborn Street, snapped a pic of the logo on my phone, and gave them a shot. They came to my office within a quoted three hour window and took care of everything, billing me what I consider a very fair rate. I will be using them again and recommend you do too.

I applaud the attentiveness and perseverance of the staff/driver/pickup persons, who actually had to shovel snow to make a pathway to get to the many boxes they were picking up. These men demonstrated going above and beyond the call of duty and I would give them a 10 out of 10, but had to settle for 5 out of 5! On top of that the price was more than reasonable. Much continued success to all, including the person who came out to give a "free" estimate of the job to be done and cost. Thank you all!

What a wonderful experience! The guys who came to my house were capable, intelligent, experienced and very courteous! They carried 30 boxes of papers from my attic down five flights of stairs and shredded everything right there in their truck in the alley. Fast and efficient. I would highly recommend them!
