Priority Moving screwed me! My move was scheduled for Friday May 28th. My wife and I used vacation days for this move. The morning of the move, I received a call from Shantell stating that they had to reschedule because one of the guys assigned to me was in a car accident and was in the hospital. I asked if they could still send the other two guys (I paid for 3) and I would help.

I was told no. The crew was sent out the next day. The crew did a great job. I had mentioned to them what had happen with the reschedule. The crew leader told me that Shantell lied to cover her own mistake. There was no car accident. Pretty crappy excuse to give. I then attempted to contact the office to complain. It took over a week as there was no answer and no one called me as I requested. In the end, they compensated me only $100. Poor customer service. I will never use this company again. Beware!

Just arrived unprepared and with complete lack of communication. They subcontracted our move out without informing us and they put us down as only moving boxes when they were completely aware that we needed a full move. They were late. They were suppose to arrive at 8am and arrived at almost 11am. They do not respond to phone calls in a timely manner and when they do they send you to numerous individuals. The moving crew were completely uninformed on our needs. I do not recommend. Date 9/29/2020

We had a great experience from start to finish. Our quote matched our total price at the end. The guys showed up on time. We were explained the process and what was going to happen next. Everyone was pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend and use them again!

They were wonderful and friendly. Everything you'd want. I wasn't thrilled that they took my couch out over the balcony of my old apartment. It ripped the back liner of my couch. I wasn't freaking out only because it was an old couch although it was a $4,000 couch. The only thing they forgot was to mount my flat screen. Even with all of that they were professional and worked very hard. It was a long day. They had to deliver half of my stuff to a storage facility first then to my new place. Thanks guys!

Worst moving company I've ever dealt with. Final charges were 25% higher than originally quoted. They dented, chipped and broke furniture and tried to cover it up with shotty repair with tape. They also took months to repair a destroyed headboard. Thankfully we purchased the extra insurance, but it felt as though it was worthless for months as we waited for them to fix our damaged furniture.

We also had a piece of furniture (antique dining chair) that was never delivered and never found. There was no way to prove we had this piece of furniture. Only one of the movers worked officially for the company, two others were substitutes. I felt as though our issues were not a priority after reporting the issues and filing a claim. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone.

I was really impressed with how professional and fast this company was! I had a very short window of availability when I was able to move from my apartment and they came right on time and got the job done super quick! They were professional and affordable and I cannot recommend them enough!

We learned we were going to be able to move into our new house about two weeks before the move date, and that move date was Memorial Day weekend. Many places were already booked up. Priority Moving was able to schedule our move for the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We also had them pack our entire home the day before. I was worried about the cost, but it was worth every penny.

The packers were incredibly quick and careful. Two people had our 1700 square foot house as well as our garage completely packed in four hours. The movers had our house loaded into the truck, transported, and unloaded in 4.5 hours (two trucks and five movers). The final cost ended up being $1,000 less than the quote because they went so quickly. All of our stuff arrived in our home undamaged, including my grandmother's piano and china and our wedding china.

This review is not for the move itself but for the extremely responsive and professional way they handled the claim process. Jessica, my move coordinator, and Brenda, the claims agent, were both exceptional. I appreciate that they took my concerns seriously and we were able to reach a fair outcome.

Wow! I've moved several times including corporate moves and never had a crew as great as Rene, Kirk, and Richard. They were flexible with plan changes and extremely extremely careful with my things and my home, laying down walkways and padding the door jams. They even removed and reinstalled a door when needed to get a desk past a tight corner. additionally, they were friendly and outgoing and made me and My husband feel comfortable wth them. Kirk and his team went the extra mile on things like setting up our exercise bike and double measuring the placement of items into a tight space. I highly recommend the company and Kirks team.

It's moving day and I'm already on YELP;That should say wonders! Richard, Kirk & Joe were so incredible. Moving is stressful but these guys made it a breeze. I've used priority moving in the past and continue to do because of the wonderful service I always receive during local moves. These guys went above and & beyond for me and I'm so thankful.

Had a wonderful experience and awesome move with Priority Movers. Would highly recommend them. This is a new company, new owners not associated with the former old owners. Courteous, friendly staff. Expedient service, even last minute. The have a great tracking GPS so you know just where the truck is and when it will arrive!

Thousands of dollars in damage through reckless, unprofessional and negligent service. The moving company that did the unload on the east coast said they had never seen anything like it. No one from the company besides the receptionist would take my calls. Never got an apology and then they refused to pay the claim. They wrote that the company had filed chapter 11 and closed the doors. Still looks like they are in business now from what I can see online. Would clearly NOT RECOMMEND PRIORITY MOVING.

First off I would like to say Priority guys do an exceptional job. Professional service for sure. I've used them in the past and couldn't be happier with their customer service. A few weeks ago I used them to move me. Everything done as expected and they were even early to the move which was cool. A few days later I went to turn on my 70 inch Sony tv and noticed the LED screen was impacted which rendered my tv useless.

I made a claim with them and was told that priority movers are in bankruptcy and they could not process my claim. Please keep this fact in mind before using them if they are in fact out of business. It is a shame because they always seemed to come through. I would still use them but require they actually have insurance.

DO NOT LET THEM MOVE YOU! My family and I moved from CA to TX and trusted Priority Moving to take care of us.huge mistake! Our loading crew was extremely unprofessional. They showed up over two hours late. Not only were they late but they failed to bring any tools. Because my wife and I packed all our things we had to knock on neighbors doors to borrow items for the movers we paid for. Plugging in their personal cell phones to charge, yelling on the phone while our baby slept, even bragging about other large jobs "the trusted crew" was taking.

Our walls were all scratched up after the left and I had to dedicate a day to patch the walls as we were in escrow awaiting the buyers final inspection. It gets better, our stuff was picked up on 6/8/2018 with a delivery window of 6/11-6/18. We arrived in TX with enough stuff to make it until 6/18. I just happened to call on 6/15 to get an update.

Guess what, OUR STUFF WAS STILL IN SAN DIEGO! Not only was it still in San Diego, they couldn't even tell me when it would be picked up. I don't want to write a book here but I can't express enough how poorly this company treated my family and I, only to pass the blame to Arpin Van Lines. Our stuff was not delivered until 6/30/2018, largely due to Priorities malfeasance. You will not be treated well by this moving company, again. DO NOT LET THEM MOVE YOU!

If I could give a 0, I would! They lost a table! A whole dinning room with the cool cafeteria stole chairs that swivel out (Galvin Cafeteria Table from Cost World Market). The thing is 60"W x 44.1"D x 31.7"H, 214.3 lbs. My new Dyson MCU, a real wood bookshelf, a stool, a desk chair, a recliner, a 4x6 rug. But the kicker is two of my diplomas in their lithograph frames and my professional certificate, my husband's commissioning paper in a frame, a case with all his challenge coins, a terra-cotta soldier from China, a plate from our wedding all our guests signed, our kids baby pictures framed with signatures from friends and family. They also busted the leg on my piano. If you want ALL your stuff and in one piece, don't use them!

I'll start at 5 stars and work my way back as the quote and the actual movers arrived on time and did a great job. Stars start to knock off fast after their 3rd party contractor didn't show up on time and a major piece of furniture missed the move. We were assured it would be taken care of that weekend. When no one called over the weekend, I called Monday morning to the person who gave us our quote, this was the only business card i had.

There was no progress made on a solution and I was hung up on because he "couldn't deal with my stress" that day. I have never been hung up on for any service, let alone a $1200 move. when the excuse of we don't have control of our 3rd party supplier is given often, it's frustrating. there are many options for 3rd parties, and Priority moving should pick the best one, as they are an extension of Priority moving.

The fact that they wouldn't take responsibility for their 3rd party is terrible service. Then we were fully charged for the entire service before service was completed. I think this is a terrible business practice, especially knowing my move was not completed, or completed on time, i was hung up on, etc. When I did get dates for pick up, delivery and install for the last piece of furniture, everyone was clear i needed them at my house at 7am so i could get to my job on time. i got a call at 7:15 that the movers were 45 minutes away from arriving. they arrived at 8am.

I was then given 2 versions of a story as to why they weren't there on time (admin told me they left at 6:30 and were stuck in traffic, the movers driving over said they didn't leave until after 7 because they had to load up a truck for a later service) and I was late to work and missed a meeting. they then damaged a wall. it was a large piece of furniture, i know it was tough, but this was just icing on the cake.

I will admit that Tina did try her best to turn things around for me throughout the week, but not ensuring their team was at my house by 7am so i could get to work on time, that was very frustrating. this was a bad experience not really made any better. but again, the actual movers we had on the original move day were great, on time, in fact even early. i give huge props to them. my only issue is from admin and ops.

I have to start out by saying thank you to Anthony and Marcus! You two guys did a fabulous job and made that move easier than I thought it was going to be after looking at the mess. I will definitely look for you guys on the next move! I must say to that Priority Moving was very honest upfront and they did the job in my timeframe. All of the furniture made it with no issues.

If you're looking for a company that knows what work means, call Priority Moving. Thanks again to everyone involved and it's nice to know a company that does what they say they will do.

So per the review I originally left, I wanted to follow up as we just unpacked the storage unit that we hired Priority Moving to pack for us. Aside from the density of the packing, which was noted originally, we were absolutely shocked to find our 3 TVs, one of which is a high dollar curved TV, all packed in a single box, with nothing more than blankets separating them.

There was a tiny bit of paper shoved into the bottom corners which provided no support or stability in transit. See photos. We specifically requested separate boxes and did not see them packing them while they were in our home. I didn't have the ability to unpack and test tonight, but will be doing so as I have very little confidence that they made the journey safely. Having seen the attention to detail in arranging boxes in our container, and now seeing the care with which our fragile items were packed, I can't recommend Priority Moving.

There is just no way to tell what level of service you will receive as the movers you get are all just subbed out. Having trusted the reviews and a friends recommendation, we're disappointed with the whole experience.

We hired 2 movers, Roberto & Juan, at $95/hr to move our heavy furniture out of a 1 bdr condo into a 2 bdr condo. So no packing, no clothes, and no disassembly/reassembly of anything. The movers themselves were great and worked hard. I don't fault them for too much because a busy elevator made the move take longer than expected, but the pricing system used really makes it feel like I was taken. Moving started at 9:35a, but they marked the move start time at 9a, which I guess is when they first saw our complex.

They had to circle around the block a couple times to find a close parking spot--parking wasn't hard to find on the street in front, but their first attempts to go into the complex to find parking and then come out put them on the wrong side of the road and they had to circle the block. I think they were getting the truck ready, too? I'm not sure, but paying for 35 min extra time seems overboard. Next, there was a fuel surcharge. I've never heard of this before and the previous 6(!) times I've moved. Note, this is separate from the double drive time.

Priority Moving lowered the fuel charge to $25 from $50 because the new condo was only 1 mile away, but again this just feels like an extra gouge. Then, when it came time to settle up and pay, I was charged for 5 hours (rounded up to 2p finish time) plus 0.5 hour because of double drive time (rounded up to 15 min x 2). I did not notice right away, but 0.25 of that double drive time is part of that 5 hours (9a-2p), so really the total time should have been 5.25 hours. Seems minor, but 0.25 of $95/hr is significant and adds to all the other extras. Finally, the cherry on top, our perfectly fine entertainment center/TV stand arrived with a cracked frame right down the middle.

It can't hold anything up anymore. Maybe they put something heavy on top of it in the truck? Our 42 in LED TV and other knick knacks were supported fine, but boxes could have been too much. I like the guys a lot and they definitely hustled, so no hard feelings toward them, but overall this move ended up being very frustrating compared to our previous moves. I just hope the insurance claim for our broken TV stand covers the unit.

I have used priority moving 3 times now and each time has been an exceptional experience. The men are always super professional, well mannered, and personable. They take precautions when packing large furniture so that nothing is broken or damaged. This last move was Geoff and Anthony with SFM (Stress Free Moving) and they were truly wonderful. Thank you very much guys! I would HIGHLY recommend them anytime you need moving services.

Edit: Hi Leah, We just got to Japan and received our shipment. Our TV was destroyed. I'm shocked at how our TV was packed. We haven't opened the remaining items but I'm truly disappointed in priority moving regarding the way the TV was wrapped and packaged. Our soundbar was also damaged. I will upload photos. Please forward to your staff in hopes this will not happen to other families.

We used this company approximately 2-1/2 years ago and at that time they were great, absolutely fantastic! Today I called in because I never heard back from the email I sent them a few days ago for their supposedly quote to schedule another move, after calling in and giving all of my information I started to ask what the hourly rate was for a 3 man crew (it used to be $135 an hour min of 3 hours).

The lady I was speaking with said I'm only scheduling you for an appointment to meet with their moving consultant to asses what we were moving. NO! I don't have time to meet and get up sold on blah blah blah! My family and I chose another great company (Discount Movers) $500 to move a 2 bedroom home if everything was already packed in perfect form ready to be loaded. If your thinking of using this company, well think again!

Priority Moving reached out to me after they read my review and offered me a $50 refund for the tools and the carpet protector that they used of mine. I thought that was very nice of the company to do that. though i'm still not too happy because of the incident i do appreciate their sincerity and great customer service. I would not mind hiring them again if i ever move or recommend them to other friends. Just have to make sure next time they have everything before helping us move.

Before, when my boyfriend worked here, they made me take down my honest review. But honestly, this company is so unorganized and does not give a crap about their employees. My boyfriend was stuck in santa rosa for two days because the truck broke down, due to the fact that they don't do routine maintenance on their trucks. Also, he usually requested days off and they wouldn't give them to him because of the fact they couldn't efficiently organize crews to be able to give him days off.

The owner threatened my boyfriends job because I posted my personal review of the company, but now that he's moved on I can post my honest review. If you look at previous reviews, they lose items and they damage items as well. So keep in mind how they treat their employees and how they don't take adequate breaks and force them to sleep in the trucks for intrastate jobs.
