I have to give Pat 5 stars. He came over to our new housand fixed my bed and even made it more stable.

I called them up after we were gifted a last minute 300lb piano and knew we didn't want to attempt to move it on our own. Thank God we did because having them move it was not only faster, but better for our mental health because of how professional they were! Wrapped that upright piano up tight, moved it down steps and up steps no problem. Not only that but Tony, John and Rico were super polite and careful every step of the way. 10 by 10 would recommend using them again! Thank you all for fitting us into a very busy weekend!

I would highly recommend this company for anyone planning a move. Everything was done professionally from our dealings with the office to the movers who came. The move was done quickly and carefully. The quote was accurate and the cost was reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

Worked with movers Michael, Lucas, and Tommy. All there were incredible. I had a 20ft box truck packed to the brim with stuff, and had to move it up 3 stories. The three of them managed to get the whole thing done in around 2 hours, and not a single thing broken. All three of them were extremely professional, and I would recommend Preferred Movers to anyone in the area.

We used this business to move a piano and the guys were great. Tommy, Damian, Joe, and Tristan were all friendly and professional. They were right on time and worked efficiently at both locations. Great communication and streamlined paperwork and payment processing. Highly recommend.

Michael and Tristan did a great job moving our furniture. They came in after already completing their long day and moved us at 5pm. They took wonderful care of our furniture and were great to work with.

Michael, Kurt and Tristen moved us today and this was the best decision we made. We always just move ourselves and we decided to use preferred movers for the first time. They were on time, fast, and careful with our belongings. They were also friendly and helpful. If we move again. We will definitely use preferred movers and I will refer everyone we know.

I had the experience to use preferred movers today for the first time Mike and Kevin showed up early which was a plus and they were very professional they had the utmost respect for one another and also for myself and my possessions they were both friendly and courteous and as I watched them move and wrap my possessions they did it with. great care. they did not hurry but actually took the time to make sure each and everything was wrapped right and placed on the truck perfectly Mike and Kevin took the time to speak with me and ask just how I wanted things.

I've moved roughly 7 times in 10 years. I've used various moving companies in the north shore area and was never impressed. Preferred Movers changed that for us! Moving day was actually enjoyable. Yup, I said it.enjoyable! It was raining and it didn't even matter. The team didn't skip a beat! Michael, Kurt, and Tristan were fast, professional, and careful with everything. We got Mike, Kurt and Tristan. These three guys are awesome! They work hard but they were very personable also. They had some roadblocks with tight squeezes but they got the job done in great time and everything is in the same shape as it was when they left. Their dynamic is hilarious and they compliment each other very well. So you get a little entertainment at the same time. Would absolutely recommend and if I ever move again, they WILL be my first call.

They were able to fit us in on fairly short notice when we had an unexpected change in closing date that our originally scheduled movers were not able to accommodate. Crew of 4 was personable and professional. They loaded everything from our 4 bedroom house in 2.5 hours. They did a good job not marking up the walls or damaging our furniture. I would use them again.

The team from Preferred Movers arrived on time, was friendly, and did a great job. They were careful and creative when moving furniture from the 2nd floor down steep dutch-like stairs. We would definitely use them again.

Preferred Movers are the best moving company. They helped with my move from NC to NH, when my other movers failed to show. Jamie and staff have been fabulous. This is my 2nd time using this company. Each time it has been a smooth transition. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a superb moving company.

Jamie and everyone at Preferred Movers has been amazing from start to end with my move halfway across the country! They were accommodating with any special requests and changes that I had and made me feel extremely comfortable with all of my possessions in their hands. Had a horrible experience with Pat Brean, the owner. He quoted us $7k after thoroughly inspecting our home in person. We agreed at that price for the entire move. The job took 4 trucks, not 3 as he had assumed. He put a gun to my head by saying that he would stop the men from unloading unless we paid him $2600 additional in cash by noon of that day while the men were unloading. I would not recommend him at all. He does not honor his word. Be very careful dealing with him.

Where do I start? They broke my great grandmothers antique china hutch, dropped our washer off the back of the moving truck (see attached pictures) and dinged up our new hardwood floors and gouged the walls in our new home. When we plugged in the washer it did not work, the china hutch needed to be repaired and the floors and walls also need to be fixed.

Do not hire these unprofessional and untrained idiots unless you want your belongings destroyed. And to top it off the owner, Pat, tried to pretend like he was concerned. Their insurance to cover the damages was also a joke. The check we received did not even cover 20% of replacing the dead washer.

Recently moved furniture for us from ME to NH. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient. Wrapping all furniture for safe travel. They took thorough inventory off all pieces. We will definitely be utilizing them for our next move!

My wife and I hired preferred movers to move our personal belongings from two huge storage units into our new home. The team of Matt, Andrew and Dakota did a great job with the move. They worked incredibly hard and diligently in 94 degree heat. They were friendly and took great care of our belongings. We highly recommend them!

I recently had the pleasure of moving with Preferred Movers. The crew was exceptionally polite, thorough and careful. My belongings were going into storage and they took extreme care to wrap and box fragile items. The owner personally stopped by to assess proper number of staff and truck space and brought on extra crew and an additional truck, same day. I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish. And price quoted was certainly the most competitive. Would definitely recommend!

These movers were fantastic. My cousin was in a dire living situation, and I was trying to help from Texas. I called Preferred Movers, and Pat was very responsive in setting up a move within 24 hours. Caleb and Peter were compassionate in helping my cousin finish packing and make decisions. This company is the best company you can find to move your items. I have moved several times in the last fifteen years (both long distance and local) and this company is as good as it gets. Courteous, always returns calls, and the best part their quote is right on within a few hundred pounds compared to other companies that low ball the weight and then charge you twice the rate for poundage on moving day. a surprise you do not want to get. I can't say enough about them. If I ever move again they are the ones I will call.

This is best moving company, there has kindest and wonderful staff. I took 3 quotes at the same time, Paul give me the most beautiful price I expected, and they came my house on time, and finished all moving before 3PM, even they need cross state. I am so glad of choosing Preferred Movers, thanks again for all people who helped us.

Worst mistake of my life to schedule these guys. Not only did they show up 2 days after they said they were going to, they tried to charge me a cancellation fee because I had to hire a different company that came out same day and saved my closing. DO NOT USE

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Preferred Movers. Exceptional customer service from start to finish and they were extremely careful with my furniture. The crew showed up on time and the price that was quoted was the exact price I paid, literally not a penny more. It was a very long day for the guys, but not a single one of them complained about it at all. I had a bad taste in my mouth from moving companies in the past, but Preferred Movers definitely changed my outlook on that. Highly recommend!

This was the first time I treated myself to a moving company and it definitely proved to be worth every penny. I'm pretty protective of my belongings and tend to worry about others handling them but I was pleasantly surprised.
