Plantation Storage

The lady we talked to on the phone was so nice! She gave us perfect directions to our unit and let us leave our Uhaul trailer there for the weekend so we didn't have to haul it around. Unit was clean and easy to access.

Great priced storage location and very secure. I have rented here for just about 2 years and not a single issue or problem. I love being able to access my unit 24/7.

Everybody in the office was very helpful and friendly and they explained everything very well the kindness really took a lot of stress off a little high priced for around town but they do give you 24-hour access to your unit and they have Bluetooth locked doors which is great for security

Easy to reserve and move in. Love the climate controlled unit we have and the gated code access. We are going to be increasing our unit size after the holidays and would not go anywhere else. The staff is helpful and friendly.

FIVE STARS FOR THE STAFF! The staff is super. Love Brittany. Super helpful, professional, and courteous. She greets you with a friendly smile and hello every time you come into the office. We were a bit disappointed with the facility. Our unit itself was fine (5065). The exterior doors are extremely cumbersome. You either need to force it to remain open - which they ask you not to - or you need two extra hands.

It is impossible to carry furniture or even large, light objects in or out because you fight to open the exterior door while continuing to fight to keep it open. As you try to enter or exit your unit area and attempt to bring things in or out on a cart or dolly, you are forced to pick up the cart at the bottom to help it over the hump at the exit flooring/doorway.

Nothing on wheels will make it over these two inch humps that span the entire width of the exit doorway(s). To help with that issue, we used a very thick piece of cardboard that allowed our dolly or cart to move over the hump. We moved with no man, so for us these obstacles were beyond difficult. Lastly, the carts provided were broken. As you tried to lift them over the hump(s) the large handle would come off causing additional difficulties.

It is not easy getting in and/or out of your units if they are the heated/cooled units. All of our boxes, clothes - everything - smelled of smoke. People smoke in the hallways and units. I close with - management has hired a top-notch staff - accepting nothing short of superior customer engagement.

Working with Kris and the Brittany is always an absolute pleasure. I know my stuff is safe and secure there! I love having my stuff local but those two really sealed the deal when it came to picking a place for the long term.

Brittany and Kris were delightful. Made great suggestions and recommended the best unit for me. Unit was very clean, climate controlled and easily accessed. Prices are reasonable.

I have been using Plantation Storage for the past few years now. I highly recommend the facility. May it be for Storage units or Parking. The facility is well maintained. I also feel very secure with my belongings there. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

I would not want to bring my business anywhere else but here. If you're looking for a new unit facility, this is hands down the best and cleanest facility I've ever been too. The staff here is absolutely amazing, they want nothing more than to make sure you feel comfortable and at home. Very informative, always on their A game. I can't ask for a better establishment to store my belongings. Kris, I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong, you were absolutely amazing keep up the great work everyone :

We had one storage unit in the climate controlled area and then another in a regular unit that was not climate controlled. I noticed every time I went into the "climate controlled"unit it was scorching hot! What are you paying for? I know it wasn't just ours because they were connected. The roaches and spiders are the worst part! Upon moving to our new place there are roaches inside some of our containers and boxes!

So now we have a problem in our new place trying to get rid of the "Palmetto bugs" or Roaches that we brought from South Carolina. Property looks nice and clean and they staff that I have met seem nice but pest are not okay and regular pest control should be used.

I have been renting a storage unit at the Plantation Storage facility, located on Carolina Forest Blvd. Myrtle Beach, SC for over a year now. Ken and Brittany has and continues to make the whole experience wonderful. The initial rental process was quick and easy, done within 20 minutes, subsequently moving my personal possessions in without any glitches.

The facility is clean, secure with gates and cameras allowing 24/7 access with no worries and offers additional equipment and items to assist moving if needed. I strongly recommend this particular storage facility and once again, I would like to thank both Ken and Brittany, as well as, the entire staff for being extremely helpful and friendly.

The property is clean and easily accessible. Brittany and Kris are especially professional and accommodating. Their demeanor is consistently helpful and pleasant. The stress of moving and storing has simply been made easier with this location and staff- thank you!

So, I was hunting for a new storage facility since the one I was at jacked rent up 70 bucks a month. Well, this one I am getting a bigger unit AND 24/7 access for less than what my other unit was raising my rent to! Bill is awesome! Very friendly from the moment I walked into their office. I 100% reccomend Plantation storage! Thanks again Bill for being awesome!
