Eric, Rafael, and Martin were the absolute best! They prompt, careful, kind and so very helpful with everything. They went above and beyond to make this moving experience as easy as possible and always asked if they had questions about anything to be packed. This has to be by far the best moving experience I've had. They were on time (in fact early than the scheduled time to find parking and moving pathways from the apartment). Eric, Martin, and Rafael packed the whole house in a literal flash! (Half the estimated time!) What stood out for me was they took care of every piece of furniture and packed them securely!

Some furniture items like my couch didn't even have the same amount of secure packing when it was delivered to me from the factory. The detailed labelling was spot on too as I could quickly identify which box has what! Highly recommend their services for their professional and solid pack and move. Not to forget, they're the friendliest bunch of people and it was a joy to use their services!

Eric and his moving crew day of, plus Ryan, Pete, and Liz in the office, all were tremendous from the get-go. Nothing but great things, extremely professional and very diligent, which made this move my overall best move yet. Eric, Rafael and Martin provided an exceptional experience. Moving is never easy but their care and kindness made the situation as pleasant as possible. They were also incredibly warm towards my (crazy) little dog and that made the day more pleasant. I'm sorry we're moving because I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Update: Commercial Move. Wow these guys are awesome! They helped us move office furniture and were very professional, very careful, there no damage done to anything the furniture or the building, and we are so very grateful for their hard work! Special shout out to Josh & Nick who were friendly, had a good attitude, and made moving fun - yes, we even laughed a little along the way! Eric and Team did an amazing job! They were super professional and took great care of all of my items while moving it all the way to the third floor in the heat with no elevators. They didn't complain at all and even help move around things to different spots in case it didn't fit. They left the place cleaner then they found it and removed all boxes and debris. I can't say how thankful I am for Eric and team as they made a very stressful move so much easier on me. Thank you again!

BUYER BEWARE! I don't wish my experience with this company or their affiliates on anyone. Please read before contracting with Arpin America. It saddens me that this is the first negative review I've ever posted--well second after posting this same review to AngiesList. I'm a pretty laid back person and tend to give the benefit of the doubt, but I'm at my wits end.

The movers were great--very courteous and I've given them higher ratings. The price was not the cheapest, not the most expensive. Unfortunately, the lack of ownership and Arpin's acceptance of responsibility have negated all of the good work done by others in this process and EARNED them 1 star. All of my problems occurred after delivery.

Please also check BBB.org, as they have a D- rating, prior to my filing with them. I've tried to make this review as short as possible, but this back-and-forth has been going on for almost a month and there's nothing "short" about it anymore. My Samsung washer and 65" Samsung flat screen were both damaged beyond repair. Because we signed off on the release forms, we're getting push back and buck passing. Arpin hired a third party to prepare the washer for moving, Moving Made Easy (MME-US), who in turn hired a local contractor to perform the work, Shamrock Moving Services. Based on the responses of TWO different appliance repair companies (one of which was hired by MME!) the drum was no properly secured to the washer prior to moving, which bent the drum and destroyed the support system. Pieces of the support were lodged in the filter.

Because my mother-in-law signed the release indicating that the work had been done to reconnect it, they've denied the claim and offered $500 (the minimum quoted by one of the repair companies--just to remove and replace the drum, not including the expense to replace the support system!) as a "goodwill gesture". The replacement washer cost me $884.84, consistent with the color and style of my dryer.

According to the original contract I signed with Arpin, my TV was to be cartoned--the sales rep explained that the crate the TV is really expensive, they carton TVs all the time and it should be just fine. They didn't carton the TV. They WRAPPED it in movers wrapping paper! Upon UNWRAPPING my TV and turning it on for the first time, we had lines going across the screen and it looked like the inside of the panel was peeling off.

I can't move my TV by myself, so I took pictures and showed them to a couple of Geek Squad guys at Best Buy. Both stated that the liquid crystal inside the panel was bleeding and that it's caused by excessive pressure or "trauma" to that part of the screen. I suspect that a mover probably picked it up the wrong way (the damage was at the top of the screen, just left of center) to transport it, or because it was not moved in a carton, was transported/stored incorrectly. However, because the TV doesn't show exterior damage, they are calling it "inherent vice" and, again, shirking their responsibility. I've had plenty of bad customer experiences in my life, but this one has caused more stress and been more disappointing than any other in recent memory. Enough, in fact, to warrant me taking more time away from other responsibilities to write my first negative review!

The cost of my move: approximately $4,900 Replacement washer: $885 TV (purchased 2/2017): $1,169 Unused carton for shipment: $125 Failed washer "kit": $389 Service fee for 3rd party appliance repair company (I had to pay for it, which is almost laughable if it weren't true): $65 This brings my TOTAL COST OF SERVICE to: $7,533!

Local Move: Had a four man crew show up at my residence at 8:30am, had a three bedroom townhouse loaded by 10:30am, went to load items from my mini storage and moved all to new residence. Entire move was completed by 1:15pm and I made them take a break and eat hamburgers we got for them and rest! The crew and the service was amazing. Floor protection at both locations and especially on the new wood floors was perfect. Padded and shrink wrapped items in the house before they were carried out to the truck.

Fast but with furniture moving skill, courteous, no wasted movement, always doing something to further the move process. Can not say enough good about Rudy and his crew. Thank you for putting such a professional product/service on the street everyday!

We are waiting for a resolution from the Arpin America claims department (the Arpin HQ has already settled a very small portion of our claim, and now it is on the franchise Arpin America to settle their portion. So all in all, it is acknowledged that there are claim issues that must be resolved). The only email I received regarding this franchise portion, indicated I would be contacted within 5 - 25 business days.

After 27 business days, and no communication from anyone, when I called the claims department, he indicated that due to the $ size of our claim, and the number of claims they are working, it may take longer. It is now 40+ business days and no update - not even a - sorry it's going to take a bit longer note. First, I am concerned about the lack of communication from Arpin America and the fact that no one in management will take my call (waited on hold over 20 minutes twice and the manager left the building while I was on hold for him), and second, the fact that they have "SO MANY" claims to process.

This tell tale fact is a bit alarming. So, I wait - for the call, the email, the person who will fix all the damage and a check to replace missing items. I have been very patient - they have been very non responsive. It is worrisome - the lack of attention to clients who paid for packing, storage and full insurance for 14 years. Yes - that is 14 years they stored our HHG to the tune of $45,000+ in revenue to them. Yet, no communications from them.

My advice to you - choose your mover/storage company carefully, use ONE entry door only during your delivery, visually inspect EVERY numbered sticker and check off your inventory list as it enters your home, make notations of all damaged boxes, make a notation on the delivery papers that you must sign upon delivery, of all missing boxes and damage - no matter how slight.

They will not provide any Day of Delivery documentation other than what you already have. This documentation I refer to is a list of all damage and lost boxes while in their possession. So in the chaos of delivery day, with up to 7 men unloading your goods - and it's just you receiving, things may happen or slip by with no explanation, and they just want to get done and be gone.

It is a very rushed situation, the responsibility is on your shoulders to prove what happened, when it happened and where it happened. You are on your own, they are not your friend. I am sure that a claim somehow goes against their record and perhaps limits franchise rewards, so if by not responding to a claim = no claim, well then. When attempting to contact the Arpin HQ in RI, I found the HQ business office and warehouse are both up for sale and no one answered the phone. 11-11-16 What's happening? Will I ever get a satisfactory resolution?

We had Lafayette and zach and they were so careful with my friends stuff. Very pleasant and they could multitask incredibly well. They moved out her whole condo in just over an hour. We could not believe how fast they were. Lafayette would also answer any questions we had about the new state my friend was moving to. He was very informative while he was packing up her stuff. He is great at multitasking. They wee very polite as well.

I was referred to Arpin America by a close friend who recently relocated from Dallas to California. Great recommendation! Our move was seamless. Everything was packed, loaded and delivered as scheduled. The crew was very courteous, efficient and respectful of my belongings. Did a fantastic job packing! They honestly made the most stressful part of relocating seem effortless. I would highly recommend!
