AVOID AVOID AVOID! I just found receipts from our awful experience with these movers in 2004, and would like to add my voice to alert others. They broke many objects in our move then used every excuse in the book to avoid paying for replacement.

Got an email today from their Lawyers. I had to use this company because the Army set up my move. The email said come get your stuff before it's sold! WTF Now scrambling to get a moving truck, storage and man power to pick up my things tomorrow! Worse nightmare ever!

I am told that O'Neil Relocation has been taken over by the bank. I hope I can get my household goods out of their warehouse.

Please do not use this company! My name is Dr. Marcus Ettinger and I had the misfortune of using this company to move me from a rental home to our new residence. Not only did the crew claim more hours than they actually put in, they effected almost all of our furniture in a negative way. Our Kenmore Elite dryer (top caved-in), speaker fabric on our 56 TV (shredded), patio Sunbrella furniture fabric (torn), Mattress (torn), Brushed stainless front to our refrigerator (dented), $1000 french art picture frame (major scratch).

I talked with multiple parties, including the new VP - No call back - no apologies - no handling. Not only was the crew not trained, O' Neil didn't even seam to give a shit. bottom-line: if you want to take a chance with the health of your personal possessions, than go right ahead and use O'Neil. On the other hand, if you value what you own - use someone else or take out full replacement value insurance. Personally, I feel these guys don't give a shit about me or you. bottom line is they just want money and to get a job done as fast as humanly possible. If you want to talk with me personally about the nightmare I went through with O' Neil, please feel free to call me at 714-639-4360 Dr. Marcus Ettinger

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - YOU WILL BE SORRY! This is the worst moving experience you could ask for.they loaded our stuff in California and it's been sitting there for more than two weeks. They are outside of our contract for delivery by almost one week now and no one at the office seems to care. No one returns phone calls, they don't care that delivery dates come and go and the moving coordinator seems to be a complete liar.

He told us that since we have two small kids they would likely have our stuff delivered by July 1st. Now they are saying maybe July 17th - but won't confirm. Our stuff continues to sit in California with no help from O'Neil. We cannot move into our new house because we don't have any furniture. So, insult to injury we are paying a mortgage for a home we can't move into. The customer service is HORRIBLE. GO ELSEWHERE!

TERRIBLE company! I recently used O'Neil for a corporate-sponsored relocation from Virginia to San Diego. Since I didn't pay for the move, I won't go into price except to say that it seemed very high compared to the competition. Everything went fine until they delivered my stuff to me in SD - or, rather, delivered some of it damaged and lost the remainder.

I accept that accidents can happen, so no worries, I figured I (my company, rather) paid for the insurance/"valuation" to cover the loss. You can forget about this company even remotely trying to comply with this contractual obligation. Not only did they make me jump through twenty-plus hoops to file the claim, they dragged their feet at every opportunity in an effort to run down the 9-month time limit you have under law to file the claim. Then, when they finally stepped up to pay, they unilaterally and without any basis reduced the claimed value by 67%, AND they misrepresented that I claimed a substantially lower amount than I actually did to reduce it even further. NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

I used them for a long distance move (500 Miles) because they were affiliated with Mayflower who I'd used before with no problems. Despite them being $800 more expensive then any other quote I'd gotten, I thought they would be professional and careful with my stuff. This experience was horrible! They used a shuttle where they definately didn't need to (every other company brings the huge truck into the complex) so charged me an extra $300 for that.

Plus the movers didn't have any tape with them and I had to go buy some, despite Chris telling me they would come with boxes that I wouldn't be charged for. No boxes and no tape. Luckily I had some boxes laying around. They broke a lamp during the move, got gum on my mattress (yet claimed they used and charged me for a mattress box), and took 13 days to get me my things.

I was told the move would take 2 days, and so I sat and slept in an empty apartment for 13 days. No communication from Chris or Betty after my stuff was loaded, no letting me know my belonging s were going to be late. DO NOT USE THEM!
