I highly recommend this moving company! They were on time, have great rates and the movers were very professional, quick and friendly! Ty and Francisco were the best. I could not have asked for an easier move.

Read the entire post! Do Not - Do Not - Do Not work with this company. They are scam. - They damage your furnitures and Do Not pay you a penny. - They run you around until you get exhausted and give up. - Do not give them your credit card. - They hang up on you repeatedly. - Do Not trust the office manager. - They damaged our stuff for several thousand dollars. Paid us nothing.

Bear in mind, this company has nothing to lose since they have no respect or reputation. Since, they won't pay any money for your damages and lost furniture. Why should they care? This company does not care if you are happy or not. The best is to avoid this company if you care about your furniture personal items and money. And don't want to be harassed. we had over 20 damaged items.

I do not think they can stay in the business much longer. contact Better Business Bureau (BBB). or go to their website They have lots of complaints filed against them. This company is absolutely amazing! Very quick and effective moving service. They come highly recommended and I would definitely use them for all of my moving needs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Incomplete move! DAMAGED FURNITURE! CHARGED OVER DOUBLE THE ESTIMATE! I wish I could give them a 0 rating. They did a move for us on May 17, 2022. Their salesman came to our home twice before we moved and he looked at all the contents of the house and yard. He gave us an estimate for the move. On the 17th, they did the move and it took 2 trucks and 4 guys to do the move.

After they packed everything into the trucks, there was still quit a bit of stuff left at the house. They told me that the trucks were full and no room to put more stuff. They took off for the new house and when they unloaded everything, they left. They put some stuff where we told them it belonged. many of the pieces of furniture were left wrapped in paper and plastic.

And they did not finish assembling all the furniture that was taken apart. My armorie was left unassembled on the floor. Some of the pieces of it were still wrapped in paper and plastic. In addition, They broke the book stand off the antique piano, and didn't bother to let me know. We have no idea where the music stand part is so we can have it repaired and put back onto the piano. AND they charged me $250 extra to move the piano even after they damaged it.

When they were finished, they charged me over double what the original estimate was for the job. This was even after the sales guy was at our house TWICE before the move and we verified the estimate with him each time. Save yourself a lot of headaches and trouble, DO NOT USE OMEGA MOVING AND STORAGE. They are NOT a reputable company.

Omega was a great choice for my move. The movers were on time and handle everything with care. Job was completed and I was very happy with the results. I would recommend 100%

Omega moving made my moving process stress free and worked with my budget, they also they made sure my items were properly packaged. I will totally recommend if you are looking for a professional moving company

BEWARE! Protect yourself against the unethical business practices of Omega Moving & Storage. If you believe in the principle of treating customers fairly and more importantly, the legal right not to be permanently deprived of your property, do not hire Omega Moving & Storage. Aside from billing us considerably more than the quote, rescheduling our move on the day of, arriving 1-2 hrs late daily, damaging furniture and appliances and leaving us in a maze of unlabelled boxes with crushed contents, Omega Moving & Storage STOLE property from us valued at over $7000.00.

Despite documented proof of their theft, Omega Moving & Storage refused to return our property, lied in an attempt to cover up for the guilty party and ignored the claims filed against them. The only next step is a court of law. Avoid the same outcome. Do your due diligence, read the 1 star reviews, they are on point. Be wary of the 5 star reviews, they are littered with Omega employee/affiliate reviews.

We know this to be true because we have email from Omega Moving & Storage sent from those very same people. Either Omega Moving & Storage limits their 5 star service to their employees and affiliates or the reviews are fake and simply another example of how unethical this company is. Not to mention unlawful. Again, BEWARE!

I recently hired this company to do my move, I would definitely recommend this company to everyone. From the start they have been on top of their stuff. When the move day arrived the movers were great. They were careful with everything.

Good customer service from Elan who helped deliver our items in the same week. The best part of our Omega experience was Alfonso and his crew. 10/10 and 5 star service all the way. Couldn't be nicer and they truly cared about helping us.

I had a great experience from the person on the phone answering all my questions and the crew arriving to my home on the expected moving date making sure my items were carefully wrapped and placed in the truck. It's a very personal experience you don't feel like you your just another customer on the list but another person they want to help because they know how stressful it could be to move. Totally recommend I felt very comfortable from A to Z. Thank you Omega!

Finding a moving company that is honest and reliable had been one of my hardest searches until I came across Omega. They were kind and friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns. When you're transporting your personal or any possessions it can be nerve wrecking. Omega had me at ease and they took great care of my belongings. Highly recommend them for your moving and storage needs!

Great Moving experience. After reading some reviews here I was skeptical. However most reviews are done by customers that didn't have a good experience. Happy customers are not as passionate. They did a great job!

I filed a claim to them back in August and haven't heard from them Yet AGAIN. The one time I did, I was threatened to remove my post on yelp if I want some mystery amount of money. Kristina is a horrible office manager worker that lacks professionalism and respect along with the rest of the company. Spending your money, time and trust in the this company is a bad idea.

I have been getting a lot of DMs from unhappy customers on yelp that have been scammed and they are hiring lawyers as well. This company will go down soon enough it's scam.

Avoid this moving "company" at all costs. I ultimately had to pay 3-4x for another company for last-minute moving services due to Omega not showing up on the day of my reserved date. Seriously, please, save yourself the trouble and go with an actually-professional service. I booked and paid the deposit for a long-distance move (from the SF Bay Area to Seattle) weeks in advance, but on the day of, they never showed up and completely ghosted me.

I had to submit a credit card dispute to even attempt to get my deposit back, as all of my calls and voicemails in the following days to both the dispatch agent and Rey Garcia (the "moving specialist" they had assigned to my move) went completely unanswered and unreturned. PLEASE, to anyone considering Omega (even a little) for their moving needs - go to literally anyone else.

Save yourself the headache and get an actual, reliable company to handle your move. Edit: got a fraudulent charge from an '8 Ball San Diego' (and other) shortly after these guys (I've never been in or close to San Diego, and credit card info for the deposit was given over hte phone) -- not sure if related :)

My company was moving from a skyscraper in downtown san Diego to rancho Bernardo a big move. The firm requires a million dollar liability insurance which not to many moving companies have but omega does I am not quite sure why they have low stars great company awesome employees. only a 2 day move will hire again

Christian inventory specialist arrived! Gave me a walkthrough on the inventory database I was so amazed they stored my stuff in there storage with detailed photos of each item! I have moved many times. My stuff would always get lost they would just write each item on a paper 1 by 1, but these guys are really revolutionizing moving! Maciel- Funny guy but very hard worker! Salvador the driver was even involved in the move! hustling Jason the stacker stacked everything so neatly! not 1 box crushed very impressive! I will use them again!

Omega cancelled on us less than 24 hours before we moved. We booked them for a two part move including storage and they cancelled on us Friday late afternoon for Saturday after paying a deposit and being booked for 2.5 months. I could go on and on but DO NOT USE THEM! unprofessional, lacked any compassion for the situation they put us in with two young children and just were like welp! Talk to accounting for your refund, they forgot to secure storage after I can confirmed with them twice!

If I could leave no stars, I would. How this company got a government contract in Sam Diego for moving and storage in Non Temporary Storage of household goods, (HHG) is not something I can fathom. They came a week early to pack all our stuff. Did not explain that once our HHG was packed, it would not be crated for eventual shipping to our overseas duty station. DPS changed our origin shipping to Omega. They've been excuses, after excuses to the delivery company who is shipping our HHG to our destination in Japan.

They said they're open weekends, but closed early so when the transport team arrived they couldn't load the crates for shipment. They were having issues procuring crates, they had crates given to them, but can't coordinate a pick up with the shipping company. In the meantime, my family has been without our HHG for 4 months and have no idea of when it will be leaving San Diego!

As for our shipping company, they've been polite and update us saying that this behavior from Omega is typical and they HATE dealing with them! When I emailed Omega's info email, the person said we must have them mistaken for another company. Really, you're the ones who have ALL our possessions and can't get their poop in a group! Avoid this company at all costs! Maybe the military will rescind their contract and no, we're not the only family struggling with this company of our HHG.

These people are liars and thieves they steal and damage your things, don't return phone calls when hired, don't pay out on claims and tell you everything you want to hear to get hired even though it is a bunch of lies, so run don't walk away from this company.

Moving is definitely one of the most stressful times for me. This whole year has been challenging! I was recommended to use Omega to move and I'm so happy I did. They were very accommodating working in my timeline. They were fast and efficient. The move went pretty smoothly. The movers were professional and very careful with my furniture. Thank you Omega!

[Edit as of 5.5.2021] Right after I left the review they contacted me right away and Elan took care of it instantly. If shipment arrives all correctly, I would definitely recommend this moving company. ---------- Rey was very professional and quick at helping and answering questions. Very competitive costs. Workers were very quick and moving in and out. However, Im keeping it at 1 star because I'm wasn't able to contact them where there is a issue[missing a Herman Millar Chair]. I would gladly change the rating once I can contact them and talk about the issue:

Omg! Hands down the best movers I've ever had. Javier Huerta and his team (Axel, Alfonso, & Sergio) were professional, patient, courteous, and SUPER efficient. I had a nightmare last minute move that needed to be done, and Omega took on my move. They were able to pack up a 5 bedroom house in two days! Labeled and inventoried everything accurately.

They put moving blankets and cardboard on my banisters and walls, and placed a tarp down to protect the carpet/walls. I would definitely recommend Javier and his team to anyone in the San Diego area. You guys took off a huge burden off my plate. I can't thank you enough! As far as customer service goes, Connie is Amazing! Super sweet and helpful. I felt like i was calling her all the time with questions/requests and she never made me feel like I was a burden. She always went above and beyond to help me. Thank you!

The guys who did the pick up and drop off were super friendly. They did a good job at loading and unloading the truck in a timely manner and everything was wrapped. Pricing was fair compared to other local companies.

Please do yourself a favor and believe all the negative reviews that you read about this business. They will sweet-talk you into getting your business saying that the negative reviews you read are as a result of disgruntled customers. But, please know that no matter how good they sound or how good the price they offer you is, hiring them is not worth your peace of mind.

These movers/business are part of the shadiest ones that give all movers bad names. We contracted them to move us from San Jose, CA to Seattle on December 19 but no one showed up until December 20. After we were picked up, we could not get a definitive date on when our goods would be delivered. After calling numerous times and threatening legal action, they delivered us on January 27th.

Furniture was damaged, boxes were squashed and items were broken. In the middle of the move, the driver disappeared and no one from the company could tell us where he went or what has happening. All in all it has been a mess and the couple hundred dollars we thought we were saving, we have spent on stress. They lack integrity, are not transparent and frankly do not care about you as a customer or your goods for that matter (unless you are from the department of defense, then they will provide their best service).

I used Omega Moving for my long distance move from San Diego. Overall I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. I called many other companies but Omega Moving gave me the best price. They also have their own app called Speedy Moving Inventory and that made the whole process smoother as I was able to track the status of the move and each item had a barcode to ensure you receive all your belongings. I highly recommend this company.
