Oak Harbor Mini Storage

Used to really like this storage space but every time I get anything in the mail, which seems to be every 6 months, they seem to raise rates $20 or more.

Repeated late fees when I have autopay setup. No communication on problems with payment. Several times they have input my card number wrong and expected me to pay for it. Horrible customer service.

This storage is by FAR the best storage unit facility in all of oak harbor!

NEVER RENT THROUGH HERE! The only reason I gave it one star was because I had to in order to make a review. I've had so many problems through here. Initially when I got the storage unit she had me sign the contract and make a payment then gave me my code to open the gate. When I went to go open the gate the code didn't work because she didn't activate the code. Took two weeks to get a hold of her because she locks her door before closing time at 5 pm, so it conflicted with my work schedule.

When I signed the contract we set up for automatic payment. Every single month the payment has not been deducted and denied me access through the gate because she didn't select automatic payment on her computer and says she fixes it every time. So out of the total of three months of having a storage unit I have not had access to my property for 5 or 6 weeks because of her mistakes.

Every time I call her to get her to fix it she gets an attitude and is very rude. She refuses compensation for time I haven't had access to my belongings. Very poor customer service and integrity. I will be getting a new storage unit.

The lady can't seem to figure out how to take patrons off of auto pay. She's been cashing my checks and charging my credit card even though I've asked repeatedly to have my credit card removed from the account.
