Northeast Environmental has over 60 combined years' experience between its owners and employees. Northeast Environmental installs tanks underground or above-ground, depending on our customer's request or local municipality requirements. As with most man-made products, nothing is meant to last a lifetime, including your oil tank. Even above-ground tanks will require replacement at some point in time.

Tank removal is an involved process with many steps. Don't worry, we'll take care of it all - from the filing of permits to removal of the tank and backfilling / grading of the area.

A fuel storage tank can be an underground storage tank (UST) or an above-ground storage tank (AST). Home heating oil tanks can vary in size from 275-gallons to over 1,000-gallons. The size of the tank is sometimes dependent on the age of the house, the size of the house, and the homeowner's personal oil consumption.
Northeast Environmental is your environmental company for all types of oil spills, large or small. Our locally based Emergency Response Team is available 24/7/365. We will quickly dispatch the right team, comprised of our experienced personnel and equipment needed to get the job done! From a leaking 275-gallon AST to a petroleum tanker rollover, residential or commercial, Northeast Environmental, Inc. is there for you in time of need.
Northeast Environmental, Inc. utilizes their own GPS tracked fleet of trucks to provide this service. This helps save our customers time and money and makes us the most efficient company around. Northeast will remove and transport the soil for disposal at a licensed disposal facility. We provide all the necessary documentation that our clients will need for their re-financing agreements or the sale of the properties. Most waste is recycled at burn facilities and recycling facilities; not disposed of at landfills.
If contaminated soil or groundwater is encountered, it is required by law, in most states, that the acting state environmental agency is notified. The remediation process begins by excavating contaminated soil and/or contaminated liquids be pumped and removed from the site. Long term remediation may be necessary by means of such methodologies, but not limited to: pumping and treating contaminated ground water and/or soil vapor extraction of volatile organic compounds. The quality of our workmanship and the years of experience of our entire staff does come at a premium.

The drivers of these company trucks are wild. Make sure you keep children and pets indoors if you hire this company as they drive fast and don't stop when necessary.

This company did an oil tank remediation on the house I am purchasing. The oil tank was placed in the wrong location of the house. i called the office to get an estimate to move the tank to a different location. I was given a quote, was put on hold, and came back on the phone quoting me a higher price. In addition, I made an appointment and received a call canceling it.

When I asked why it was canceled her response was we are not going to that location to give an estimate and I don't have to give you reason why. I have never dealt with such rude and nasty people. The person I dealt with claimed she was the owner. When I googled the company she is clearly not the owner. Extremely unprofessional and not a company to trust.

I have contacted Castlton Environmental Contractors. They responded to me immediately. Contact Carmine at 914-424-9253. http://www.castlton.com/. He conducted himself in a courteous and professional manner. He answered all of my questions and concerns.
