They sent a very friendly and hard working pair to our storage unit in PA to get us moved to Maine. Very pleased with the much more amiable experience with this mover than with another moving company. I dealt with Ethan on the phone and he was very patient and friendly fielding all my silly questions and concerns during the process. I recommend this place! Pricing is pretty par for the course for moving as they go by weight, so nothing spectacular there, but I feel the price is worth it.

Knowlton is the worst! They were responsible for multiple deep cuts in all of our wooden dining room chairs. When I spoke with the owner about it he was a jerk and denied all responsibility. They then threatened to sue us since we were withholding payment until we determined the cost of the damage. Additionally a couple other items showed up broken.
Aside from the movers themselves every person we dealt with there was unpleasant and aggressive. We ended up paying them just to avoid any further interaction with them. I will never use them again

We had linned up another company to move furniture from Man to Virginia and that company didn't work out for many reasons. I was in a bind and called Knowlton and they came on very short notice and were very professional. We had several antiques and they treated them as I would have treated them. I cannot say enough about both crewes, the ones who picked up the furniture and the ones who delivered here to Virginia. I also found them very reasonable. I short, I would highly recommend them.

This moving company took all the stress out of moving, I would recommend them to anyone who is moving to or from Maine, We moved last week from NYC to Washington Maine and I have to say that everything went perfectly. From the packing up of all our things in New York to the delivery and unpacking of everything in Maine - perfection. Plus, all movers were polite and considerate. And, their prices beat all New York movers who had also quoted us. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Nothing was broken or lost in the move - care was taken at every level.

We highly recommend Knowlton Moving & Storage, they are the best! Efficient, helpful and very respectful of our needs and the care of our possessions. They arrived in a most timely manner, packed our belongings, took them to the warehouse and stored them. It was wonderful not to have to worry about it or to rent a truck and do it ourselves. Their rates are very reasonable.
