National Storage Center

I had a storage unit in the climate controlled area for a over a year. I have had to go in and out of my unit many times and I appreciate that they have cameras everywhere. I have always felt safe. I just moved out and went thru everything, I didn't find one bug or any mouse droppings. This place is clean and they keep it pest free. Just what you hope for when you store your possessions. Front office very nice.

I would definitely recommend using National Storage Unit here in Windsor! They were great to deal with.won't hesitate to use again! It was convenient and easy to access especially living in Windsor!

I found National Storage on Conde Lane to be the safest, cleanest and well run secure storage operation in Sonoma County. The manager, Donna guides you through the process with ease and you leave there feeling like your belongings are in the right facility. I highly recommend this important business.

As the other reviews also reflect, this place is ran by sharks. out on last day of month completely, still charged entire month rent for following month. also got looked inside facility after hours ( my fault i know) but there was absolutely no one to contact to let me out. had to call fire department. wound up letting myself out and then was charged 30$, and was told there is a number on the door to call which was put up after the fact. never again not to mention 165.00 per month for a 5x10 yikes

My fist experience renting a storage unit. Extremely friendly, efficient. Discount on the first 4 months of rent. Couldn't ask for anything more.

This place is great, most expensive in the area, but they are really nice.

Clean but expensive and unfriendly. We have had a storage unit here for many years and the staff treats us like criminals if a payment is a heartbeat late. Recently received a nasty call from their office staff for someone else's name, saying they had had not received payment. When I called to let them know they called the wrong number, (since my payment had been mailed weeks earlier) I was told by a woman that the prices had recently increased and I owed $13.

Oh and if payment was not received within a day, a late fee would be incurred. Now it seems as though if you have a loyal customer, you would make an exception for $13? Nope. Windsor is a small town and I am not likely to recommend National Storage to anyone for this reason. Some suggestions for the owners; a little customer service goes a long way in a community such as ours. Update your billing practices to align with current technologies. Reward (don't punish) your well-paying, loyal customers who have chosen to remain with your business rather than use another.

I wasn't sure I would be able to be out by the 31st, so I paid my rent for April, was totally out on the 31st, no refund, no credit! That stinks, try to be a good tenant and pay on time, that's what I get, read the fine print! I will not recommend or use them ever again!

I recently gave 30 days notice in writing and verbally that I was vacating storage Unit 117. The storage unit was vacated on time, but a lock was inadvertently left on the door by the movers. I found out a day and a half after I was to be out of the storage unit. I was charged for the entire month for this oversight, even though I had given written and verbal notice in plenty of time.

My Business has been in Windsor 10 years, I have lived in Windsor since 1991. This is no way to treat any customer, let alone a local customer. National Storage Centers will never get my business again.
