DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOSE ALL YOUR BELONGING. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS NOT ONLY ON THEIR WEBSITE BUT OTHER CHANNELS THAT LIST THIS COMPANY / THEY ARE THIEVES I WAS MOVING FROM ONE STATE TO ANOTHER AND MOST OF MY STUFF WAS LOST ( that's what they told me ) they didn't have an explanation what happened to my stuff.when I would call they will tell me that they were still looking in the warehouse where they hold your stuff but after a week of me fighting and calling me they said they were unsuccessful finding my stuff.

My stuff was worth approximately about 2k and they told based on their "small prints " on contract that they would pay on 12 cents per pounds which based on their calculation it came out to only $225. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Btw the representative that I spoke to in the beginning supposely had resigned from the company when I wanted a explanation as to why they delivered my stuff without notifying me first so I would be there to received my stuff. STAY AWAY!

Moving on Up is a great moving company. The did a local move for me. The price was very good. They were on time, polite and courteous. The movers did an excellent job packing up the mirrors and pictures. They padded the furniture very well. Nothing was damaged - not a scratch!. Last minute move, Moving on up came same day, did a full packing job, took my belongings to storage then deliver a week after. Great experience, Good CX service. Moving is never easy or fun but if you have the right team it makes it a lot easier. Thank you Tal.

I had a very bad experience with this company, they gave me a wrong quote charge my card without authorization, day of moving they were one and a half hour late, when I call the office to find out what was wrong the a guy guy claiming to be the supervisor said to me in a very rude way that they are going to be late and that those things happen pall the time, but they didn't call me to let me know.

Call twice second time I told the person who answered I was going to give you guys a bad review he said is up to you! Movers show up finally more than an hour late no mask on, anyways they were the only nice people I the whole company. The price is nothing like they said be careful with this company avoid them! The reason I gave them 1 star is because you can't do zero

I highly recommend 1st American movers.i need a mover right away and these guys were there for me for move in the city of Hollywood they did a wonderful job moving me everything went went smoothly

Terrible terrible terrible! This business is nothing but a scam please save your money and do not do business with these people. They will tell you and promise you one date for delivery and then when you move your stuff is no where to be found. you call the company to see what happened and they have an attitude or the lady will pick up and lie and say the owner is not there when she is sitting right next to him because they sit next to each other.

If you keep calling they will tell you they will hold your stuff for a whole month. I finally got my stuff a week later my stuff was broken I had to replace things. Please I warn you save your money please!

Just completed a move a couple of days ago. Never an easy task for me. Glad I chose Moving On Up. Made it easier than expected. Good value for money. Will definitely use again (hopefully wont need to move anytime soon.).

If you want to 1)get ripped off by paying at least twice the amount you are quoted initially. 2) be screamed at on the phone by the manager Tom and the other staff. 3) be treated extremely rudely by the mover named John. 4) if you are willing to pay cash even if your bill is several hundred of dollars (even if the delivery occurs during late night on a weekend), and inspite of being told by the staff that credit cards are accepted form of payment. 5) if your mover shows up late without communicating with you at all, and keeps you waiting for them. But, if you keep them waiting for you for even 5 mins they threaten to start charging you $100/hour. 6) You are not informed about the actual delivery time.

Basically they will not talk to you or smile at all. If you ask anything you will get a rude reply. 7) You want to feel like being a "hostage" until you get your move completed.and if you cannot find any other moving company on the face of earth.and you have thought twice, or thrice or even more times.only then hire this moving company and be ready for a nightmare experience that you will never forget.

I hired Moving on Up for my move. I told them my items and they told me $1000 and 5-7 days to get my things. I questioned the items and they repeated the list, great, seemed easy peasy. So I drive cross country with my infant and dog. Thank God for the things we fit in my SUV. It was 2 weeks after I moved before they even picked my stuff up. Meanwhile I had to buy things because didn't have my stuff and couldn't cook.

They refused to offer a discount for the inconvenience, in fact when they came to pick my things up they wanted $2400! They claimed they didn't have an item on the list that I had already double checked with them. There was no way I had double the belongings let alone 2.5. So the office lady Phyllis "reduces it" to $2100. Still ridiculous but by this time I've been waiting 2 weeks and just want my stuff.

So after they pick my stuff up 5-7 days becomes 10-14 days. I call them 10 days later and they tell me another 7-10 days. This is absurd. I express frustration. I had ordered checks just to pay them and Phyllis in the office threatens me "give us cash or we'll suction your stuff!". Great company. I could have found more reputable movers in a back alley in Brooklyn.

So the stuff finally arrives, a month after I moved. It was piled to the ceiling and probably sat on a hot truck for an entire month. My bookcase was broken, my daughter's bookshelf had what looked like blood on it. My painting had a hole punctured through it. My high heel shoes melted, the finish is peeling off and the heel melted away from the base. Cups broken, picture frames wood worn off.

My stuff was literally just thrown around. The boxes had several holes in them which I didn't think about at first, but now after a month of living here I suddenly have a mouse problem! I'm sure they came in with my boxes. God only knows where they were all that time. These people are horrible. The way they operate is criminal. Essentially their business is to steal your posessions and then extort you to get them back. I have moved 25 times and this was the most horrifying experience. If you care at all about your things, run the opposite direction. Bad bad business.

This is the best moving company I have ever had! The team with Juice, Carlos and Tony were amazing. They worked fast, were very professional and took good care of each piece of furniture. They patiently waited when I had an issue with Public Storage. They are simply top notch! Highly recommend!

I agree with all the reviewers who had nightmare/horrible experience with this movers. Review for No Show and irresponsibility: I would like to share my terrible experience that i had with the moving company "Moving On Up INC". First of all i am not a guy who writes any negative about a company or a individual. I leave it to there karma for there deeds.

I am obliged to write this review so that others will benefit and not fall prey to this companies scam. In May, I went online requesting for online quotes. Then Carlos from "moving on up" sales contacted me with a quote. He followed up with me every week saying all nice about this company until i decided to sign contact and pay advance. On 7/16/2014 i decided to move with this company and paid a deposit with a moving date on 08/07/2014 to 08/08/2014 commitment.

I was very particular on these dates as i had made travel arrangements on 8/9/2014 to travel to Texas for medical appointment and more over i had to handover the apartment to the land lord on 8/9/2014. I am sure anyone moving would have similar commitments. I was also assured that i will be contacted on 8/4/2014 and 8/5/2014 to give me an exact window of my pick up.

I didn't get any call until 8/5/2014 afternoon and I had to call them on 8/5/2014 evening to know that they can't move me on the date committed (8/7/2014 to 8/8/2014) in the contract. They weren't even sure that they would make it for 8/9/2014 or 8/10/2014. The guy from dispatch Tom i guess was very rude. He did not even had the courtesy of being sorry for not making on committed dates.

I had to call to check if they can make any alternate arrangements and finally on 8/5/2014 evening with no option left for me, Tom says that they can't move me at all and said that he is going to return my deposit and was not open for any discussion or dialogue. With very little time left to move, I had to contact a broker who charged additional charges for moving in short notice and having to cancel and re-book all my travel tickets/hotel and pay additional stay money to the landlord. This resulted me in a loss of more than $1500 + the mental stress and trauma that one wouldn't wish to have even for there enemies.

BEWARE! As you can see from the other reviews posted here, this company is a total scam. We hired them to move our household from Indianapolis to Tampa. They picked up our furniture and boxes on September 13 and it's now October 8 but they STILL have not delivered our belongings. It does not take almost a MONTH to drive from Indiana to Florida. We have called day after day and are given a new excuse each time we call.

We are filing a complaint with every agency available and will be contacting a lawyer as well. These rating systems need a way to show negative stars. One star is too good for these people.

Most unprofessional and dishonest business I've ever encountered. These guys were contracted by a company called Moving USA to move a friend of mine this past weekend. They showed up and once they had loaded everything onto the truck the foreman informed us the price had nearly doubled and he couldn't do anything about it because his boss was the one that makes the contract and pricing.

The "boss" refused to speak to her until we started calling other moving companies. Even though we thought we had reached a resolution with the foreman to remove some cubic footage from the truck (which had never been mentioned in the initial negotiation of the contract) the foreman continued to be rude and uncooperative. This guy was a real piece of work.

He was rude and ignorant from the beginning - cuts you off in mid-sentence, refuses to directly answer questions, and kept saying we simply didn't understand when we asked him to explain why the price doubled, why we coudln't simply take some things off the truck to fit into the space HE designated, etc. He kept calling his "boss" - turning his back to us, and refusing to let the CLIENT speak to the boss.

He also purposely took things off the truck he knew couldn't be moved in a car. No joke - he ended up throwing the box spring off the truck. Then when he needed the invoice signed, we changed the customer satisfaction form (which they provided at the beginning of the day, not the end) he physically tried push a woman out of the way to take it back.

It's clearly this company's business strategy to try and gouge people once their stuff is loaded and then use their moving staff to try and bully the clients. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Read complaints about them on BBB websites - many more recent reviews similar to mine - in addition to destroyed furniture and belongings once they arrived.
