OMG I cannot day enough good things about this company. Super friendly, professional and competent. Our 4 bedroom house was packed and delivered 3 weeks later in Houston Texas area. And it all happened so seamlessly. Honest to God this company ROCKED from beginning to the end.

Warning! Do not use this moving company, they stealing things! That was terrible experience on march 25. The company sent 3 movers to us to help our cross country moving. We usually put our rings on a ring hanger in the bathroom when we do the night wash, and there is nothing to move in the bathroom. One of the mover asked our permission to use the bathroom, and we said ok. Then, after they finished the work and when I was signing the paper work, the mover again entered the bathroom, and took my engagement ring, which worth almost $10k!

We found this 10 mins after they left and call their manager(Luca) immediately. The worse thing is that the manager didn't do anything at first place, but was trying to shield what his employee has done! He claimed his employees are background checked, but the crime just happened in my apartment! We then called the local police and reported everything but since it takes time for them to do investigation so the ring is most likely gone already. It's ridiculous because we are 100% sure who the suspect is but we could not do anything because the company is irresponsible at all! Keep away from this business!

I hired Movage Moving + Storage as other moving companies were exceeding my budget. They were really awesome. Booking process was smooth and made very easy. They wrapped and packed everything nicely and delivered. All goods of my household is moved safely, there are no damaged found. This is the reason to write my appreciation for you guys. I was working with a gentleman named Chris who coordinated my move from New York to New Jersey. I had originally scheduled for a move with a property that unfortunately was in a "red zone" where the lender could not proceed with the loan. We had to reschedule with a new property which Chris was able to work with me. Thankfully The guys arrived on time and was professional and courteous to me and my wife. The boys worked hard with my 2 flight staircase and we made everything on time. I would definitely recommend this company to people doing that stressful move! - Andrew P

Relocation can be quite a stressful process, especially if you are moving from one state to another. I must say that although we had a lot of items to be moved, Movage Moving + Storage handled their responsibilities and work very professionally and in timely manner. This is a hard review to write because the movers themselves were nice and efficient, but the office coordinators and management were terrible to deal with and so much of my furniture was damaged in the moving process. When I was getting quotes for my cross country move (Connecticut to San Francisco) I was initially impressed with Movage because they had such positive reviews on Yelp.

Christian was super attentive and answered all my questions throughout the quoting and planning process, and the origin movers were super nice and efficient, but the attentiveness dropped precipitously once Movage had my items in their possession. I was never given a formal ETA - I was repeatedly told "oh, we'll have an ETA for you on Monday." "we'll have an ETA for you in 72 hours" "we'll have an ETA for you by the end of the week." In the end, I was informed that my stuff was arriving, not by office coordinators, but by the movers themselves when they texted me on Wednesday to say they were arriving the next day.

The movers arrived at 7:30pm (I was their fourth delivery that day, so they were exhausted) and SO MUCH of my furniture was damaged. My rowing machine was smashed to the point of uselessness, my trashcan was excessively dented (as if it was literally thrown into a van and then had other additional things thrown on top of it), my mattress cover was torn and my mattress was dirty, and the hardware to my bedframe (which I had watched the origin movers pack into a white, Movage branded parts box) had been lost. Boxes that were very clearly marked "fragile" were placed under boxes of books, and nearly every piece of wooden furniture (which Movage movers packed, not me) has been slightly scuffed or dented.

I expected a certain amount of wear and tear from a cross-country move, but I was not expecting to be unable to sleep on my bed. Lastly, one of my boxes had been delivered to one of the other delivery customers they had serviced that day because their stickers were the same color as mine. Luckily the other customer called and the movers were able to get the box back to me, but it was just an additional nuisance.

When I expressed my disappointment about all this damage, Luca (the coordinator who handles long-distance moves, whom I was assigned to only after the origin movers had my stuff, even though I have always been a long-distance move) gave a generic apology "sorry for the inconvenience, this isn't typical for us", and sent me a generic claims sheet.

After a lot of back and forth about damage and inconvenience, I was sent a release form stating that in order to be compensated for this damage, I wouldn't be able to post about my experience on social media, including Yelp. This is why the reviews are all so positive! Anyone who has a negative experience or has any significant damage isn't allowed to review. tl;dr don't trust all these positive reviews, especially for long distance moves. Movage is not as attentive as they seem and your items have a high probability of getting damaged.

Movage was excellent! They helped us with our move from NYC to Alexandria, VA. Christian was our coordinator and was fantastic from first contact, getting a quote, and preparing us for what would happen on the day. He answered all my (many) questions. Enrique & the crew were efficient, thoughtful, and detailed oriented. Great communication from start to finish.

We had a snag in traffic and arrived about an hour after them. We had someone let them in so they moved all our stuff in with little direction -- we texted them were a few big things went. When we arrived, we found they moved all the boxes exactly to where they should've been. e.g. a box of hangers was in the closet! All of our things were as we had packed them - no damage, or even any noticeable wear & tear from the move.

I loved that it was a one-day move. We had other quotes where things would arrive the next day, which seemed extreme for a place that isn't far away. I also loved their binding price - which is for real! - and was very reasonable. We worked with Christian to get the quote and then there were no unexpected surprises. Again, would recommend Movage 100% - easy to work with, great staff & crew, and they take care in their work!

The team from Movage Moving + Storage were punctual and professional. They moved everything, even the piano and sofa bed. Nothing was damaged or broken. Highly recommended.

Enrique Anthony Joe Andrew arrived on time even though it was raining. I was expecting 1 or 2 movers but I got an entire team. They were so nice, fast, and careful. I feel like I can focus on all other parts of my out of state move because they have put my mind at ease as far as moving my furniture goes. Amazing team, amazing service, highly recommend. May be more pricey then some companies but it's because they ARE better. Highly recommend, 5 stars!

I had never had to hire a moving company for a long distance move before, and Christian did a fantastic job answering any and all questions, accommodating my move schedule (which changed), transparently explaining pricing and provided a discount which was extremely more reasonable than other moving companies. On the day of the move, the team was beyond professional, courteous and skilled at their job.

They were true to their word in helping me get setup, called with their timing expectations on day of, were timely and prompt and made the process smooth and tremendously convenient. I would highly recommend Movage on all levels and was grateful to have contracted them for my move.

I want to do 4 stars so you don't gloss over the review but they really did do 5 star work. I reached out to at least 15 maybe 20 movers when I was looking for my NYC--Philly move and the full 5 star places all had super suspiciously similar reviews. My Last move I used piece of cake (Not good) this time I decided to use Movage! They seemed more reliable and real with their ratings and reviews. Theo and his team got there 15 min early and worked SO FAST taking everything down.

Nothing was damaged (that was my problem with piece of cake) and they wore their masks and were super kind. Luca helped me go through inventory and book them and they even can down to match a quote I'd gotten from a different company. Easiest move I've had, would absolutely recommend them!

Extremely professional and conscientious. Made sure everything was done the right way. Made an otherwise stressful experience very easy. Could not have asked for a better team, and there probably is no better team of movers in NY. Very fair pricing.

Two years ago I used Movage to move from NYC to NJ. Overall, it was a good experience. I'm now making the return trip from NJ to NYC so I called Movage again. I got Christian on the phone who said they would match the price they quoted two years ago as a courtesy. We discussed any furniture changes since the last move, then I reserved the date with a $150 credit card deposit.

Later when I reviewed the quote sent via email, I saw the numbers didn't match up to my last move. I called less than 24 hours later to ask for clarification. Christian talked over me and was rude. When I tried to pause the conversation so that I could get the bill from my last move, he said I was demanding something unreasonable and that he wouldn't adjust the quote by even $1.

It was such a strange conversation, I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I called to ask a question and ended up cancelling the move with them. They might have good movers, but I cannot recommend their services based on my call with Christian.

Movage is by far and away the best moving service I have used. From the sales office to the moving crew, everyone was responsive, courteous, careful and caring. This was a complicated move with two out of town destinations but they handled it with expertise. Luca in the sales office was so helpful and patient. A joy to work with! And Theo and his moving crew treated our belongings and residences with care. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a move!

Having moved several times throughout my life, I am very familiarized with the practices of moving companies, and I must say that Movage is the best company I have ever used. From the initial ease of receiving a quote, to the smooth and effortless move in itself. The actual movers conducted themselves in the utmost professional manner, making a point to ask if they were handling certain items they way I wanted.

They used professional moving materials and handled everything with care. At the end there were no hidden fees or charges, and I received more than what I expected from a moving company. I recommend Movage for anyone's moving needs as they are very reputable and professional.

I loved working with Movage. They moved me out of an UES apartment in July, stored my stuff and just delivered it to Washington DC this past weekend. Both moves were smooth, efficient and the teams were courteous and professional. My stuff all arrived as expected. No damage, nothing missing, and everything was in great shape. They teams also followed Covid protocols and were just the nicest! I picked them because of the reviews AND because they were the lowest estimates. Thanks so much for a great experience overall. I had a great experience with Movage from the planning to the actual moving. Luca was prompt with the quote and other logistical needs including COIs. We ended up choosing Movage because they were able to offer a flat rate quote that was affordable for us. Ricky & his crew were so professional & so quick with the actual move itself. Given that it started sleeting by the time we reached the destination, I'm so pleased they were able to move everything up without any issues or delays. Would definitely recommend & for use them again for future moves!

I initially posted a review for this company on June 24, 2019. Since this time, this dispute has been resolved to my satisfaction. This updates the prior reviews left accordingly.

My husband and I were moving out of our 5th floor walk-up and I was really nervous about the process. The building management is really strict and if we get a scratch or worse on the wall, they'd for sure keep our security deposit. Plus, we had some heavy pieces - a huge couch that cannot be taken apart, an antique desk, a piano, and many, many, many boxes with books.

But Movage did such an incredible job from start to finish I could cry! Seconds after I sent a message for a quote, I got a reply. Luca (fielding calls) was super friendly and amiable. The three movers were prompt, kind, careful with my stuff, and they worked tirelessly to get all of my stuff down those 5 flights of stairs and into the new apartment. I cannot recommend them enough!

9/30/20 was the 6th time My family has used Movage. As I may have mentioned in an earlier review, we've used them for both big (family-state to state) moves and small intrastate (1-bedroom apartment) moves. This time, it was my turn again for a move in Brooklyn. From the initial estimating process with Luka to the day of the move with Ricky (Crew Leader), Henry, and Andrew, Movage again proved out why I my continue to place my trust and confidence in them. They're fast, friendly, thorough and their pricing is super-competitive.

There are never any day-of-move attempts to jack up the cost and their communication and follow through is really without peer. They also showed up wearing their masks and practiced Social Distancing as required. I can't say enough about the guys really and I'll continue to recommend them to family and friends whenever the opportunity arises!

I had a great experience with Movage. Scheduling the move was really easy. The three men (James, Jason, and Andrew) who packed and moved my stuff were very efficient, professional, and friendly. Moving is always stressful, but I felt as stress free as possible because of the great job Movage did.

This is my second time using Movage. They were my first choice when I was moving again. It was very easy to call and get the quote. The movers were very friendly and safe and had their masks on the whole time. In my experience, Movage has always gone the extra mile for me. They were timely and had great communication, telling me when they would be arriving and all those little details.

I also noticed in the paperwork that they noted that I was a repeat customer and to make sure they treat me very well. I love working with Movage and will use them in the future.

Fast and most efficient service! Thank you Jeff! His guy James was awesome. I had a cross country move and it made it safe and sound within a couple of weeks. It took less than half hour for them to label and take out 20 med and large boxes. I'm going to miss the efficiency of New York City!

Had to move out of my apartment due to pandemic. Jeff Davis made it really easy to organize the move via phone, and gave me emails to confirm everything a start a paper trail. Of many storage companies, this one was the most affordable while still offering private storage, a moving team that would make sure all my things were properly prepared for transport to storage and the space and a truck to do it all. Lavert and James were fantastic! working swiftly while handling my possessions with maximum care! Answered all of our questions and also wore masks to the pick up. Found movage through the better business bureau and feel completely stress free knowing that when I go to retrieve my belongings it will be another quick and easy process!

Had to move some of my stuff in a storage unit to my new apartment and Movage was able to handle that in a tight schedule that I was in. Greatly appreciated guys! Very professional and prompt service, highly recommended!

This is my second time using Movage BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER THAN ANYONE I HAVE USED! Luca helped me organize the move and was incredibly patient and friendly. The company charges a flat fee, which I appreciate. Lavert was the foreman of my move, working with Al and Junior. They were professional, considerate and most of all COMPETENT. My furniture was carefully wrapped and delivered in the same condition they found it. After placing everything exactly where I directed, they cleaned up and left. I highly recommend Movage and the people the company employs.

I recently moved from New Jersey to Ohio and I hired Movage Inc for our moving. The three guys who came to pick up our furniture and boxes were really efficient and quick. In barely 2 hours they took all our stuff and charged inside their truck. They handled our belongings in a very careful way. We got our furniture in 5 days, just one day after we had moved to our new house. The delivery crew was very careful with our furniture and boxes and everything arrived in excellent condition. I would recommend them for long distance move.

To Bajo: Your response to my previous review does not justify the negative experience I had with my move, nor does your patronizing tone do anything but show that you clearly cannot take responsibility for your company. How can you run a company when every time a customer has a bad experience you blame the customer? The furniture and boxes were wet and damaged due to the rain that had gotten inside the truck and because the truck wasn't partitioned between each customers' move, none of our belongings were protected.

This was admitted by the truck driver himself. As for the boxes that collapsed, we specifically told the movers which boxes could not be stacked on the bottom and should be loaded last and noted this on the boxes themselves. So either your movers are illiterate, incompetent, or just don't care about upholding your so-called high standards. I suggest you stop patronizing your customers that have had a bad experience with your company and start learning from your mistakes. I have never once asked for compensation, nor am I still seeking one, but a sincere apology would have sufficed. My previous review still stands.

Needed 2 bedroom sets moved from my Westchester Home to my apartment in the city. seamless and effortless process. delighted by the outcome.

I had called Movage to get a quote for my move. Jeff was very professional and patient with dealing with the back and forth of my forgetting things on my itemized list to move. Luca called to confirm that my date was still scheduled and sent over Sean and his men first thing the next morning. Sean and his men made it look so easy. Unfortunately, we had a problem with my couch but these men tried every which way to work it out.

It didn't make it through the door and I was credited the amount for the couch, they also helped getting the half they were able to get thru the door out to the garbage since it wasn't going with the move. The move was pretty quick and smooth in my eyes, start time of 9am and completed my move, (unpacked, set up of furniture) by 2 p.m. I honestly don't look forward to moving anytime soon in the near future, but would definitely recommend them to anyone who is planning to.

I am honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews for Movage but I guess that happens with all companies. Our experience with was incredible. I'm writing this review in order to recognize this crew - Ivan and Luis. On the day of my pick-up, the movers arrived at the start of my appointment and did a very thorough job wrapping each piece of furniture. I mean every inch was protected. Overall, I was extremely happy with Movage's service, and highly recommend them.

I received a prompted, detailed flat rate quote from Movage. On my moving day Kenny from operations called 20 minutes before the crew arrived to let me know they were on the way, and they arrived right on time. From the moment they arrived the team of three hustled non-stop to carefully get my stuff up into the truck. The building had time restrictions and the movers were efficient and well organized and got us thankfully out of the building on time. I am very happy to have found these guys and I would recommend them to anyone looking for movers. Great price as well.

To be very frank, I am still amazed at the quality service of Movage, Inc. The interaction was smooth and I really got what I was expecting that too before the time. Yes, they made my shifting easier as well as cost-effective. I would highly recommend this moving company, if you are in the search of a trusted and renowned packers and movers!
