Our salespeople will be happy to sit down with you and help you determine the type of pricing that best fits you needs. Mississippi Van Lines is dedicated to providing you the services that you expect, at a price that you can afford. Any shipment that crosses state lines is an Interstate move. Rates for interstate moves are regulated by the Federal Motor Safety Administration and set by the individual carriers.
Any shipment that moves between cities (over 30 miles apart) and within the state is an Intrastate move. Rates for this type of move are regulated by the Mississippi Public Service Commission. These rates are based on the weight of the shipment and the distance that the shipment is moving. Mississippi Van Lines offers binding and non-binding prices on Intrastate moves.
Local moves are performed at an hourly rate that is determined by the size of the crew. The time starts when the crew arrives at your residence and is stopped when the job is completed. We then add 1/2 hour (Jackson metropolitan area moves) travel time to the total time. We have a 4 hour minimum on all local moves.
Storage charges are billed on a calendar month. We bill in 1/2 month minimums, so if your shipment arrives after the 15th of the month, you will be charges for 1/2 month for the arrival month. If it leaves the warehouse after the 15th of the month, you will be charged for a full month. There is a 1 month minimum on storage.

All moves are hard but especially after living in a home for 30 years. I cannot sing the praises of this company enough. Once my decision was made after calling many van lines, I chose the best one of all. After speaking with Scott several times and researching the company, I was very comfortable with him. The day comes and the move begins. Henri, Darrius and Freddie were outstanding professionals taking great care with my things, more than I could have ever done myself.
This team was beyond fabulous! When I thought the hardest part was over, the truck was then loaded and we all drove 2 1/2 hours to my destination. They then unloaded about 1/2 to my new home and continued on to a storage facility where they unloaded the rest. All in all it was at least a 13 hour day with not one item scratched or broken. The team at Mississippi Van Lines was terrific. They were helpful in planning our work, and the team who came on moving day were fantastic. We were moving my Aunt from her home of 75 years. They were courteous, empathetic with the big change this was for her, and very careful with her treasures. They were also fast & efficient - they had everything out of the old house & into the new place in 3 hours! Their fees were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Be sure to read the fine print. The movers were insistent on taking apart a loveseat to make it easier to move. During transition, they damaged the loveseat. Clay said that they would only pay $0.10 per pound in repair costs, which is about $30. The minimum fee for a technician to even evaluate the item is $85. Do NOT use this company unless you prefer to spend more to repair any damage caused by them.

So appreciate MS Van Lines and the help they provided me and my family through our recent move. They worked so hard to make sure we were happy and stress free. These men worked in tough conditions and did not complain one time. I've already said I will NEVER MOVE AGAIN! But we all know how that goes. If and when I ever move again, I'm calling these guys!

Awesome stress free experience moving from MS to TN. Reasonable and high quality. Nothing broke or damaged. Even transported our 1992 corvette. The crew was outstanding. Very efficient and careful in packing/moving our belongings. Great guys to be around. Friendly and family oriented. We couldn't have asked for a better move. Just amazing how they got everything on the moving van, including the car. This is a good, hard working, and friendly company. You will not be disappointed!

Mississippi Van Lines employees are top notch! We had the best movers that took pride in our belongings. They handled everything with care, made sure things were packed properly and unpack everything the exact same way. They never rushed us or made us feel like we were taking up their time like other movers have done in the past. The crew was polite and considerate and never complained about being in the heat. I would only recommend Mississippi Van Lines to anyone need to move.
