Y'all.my heart might just burst today with the amount of love from this community With the help of Margaret Movers, we furnished a family with a living room and bedroom set! A single mom with two boys, and the boys cried they were so happy to have beds to sleep on. I about cried in the middle of the street. They were so grateful! And WE are so grateful at the generosity. Had great communication with the owner throughout the entire process. The gentlemen that moved for us were professional and went above and beyond to move things safely from one home to the next. Absolutely the best price out there (I called over 15 places!). Give this locally owned business a call today. My partner and I scheduled a move today, Tuesday, June 19th, 2018, at 9am to move our condominium's furniture to our new home. As of right now, the movers still have yet to show up.it is five minutes from 2pm. An hour or two I can understand, but five hours late for a job.really? Fun and informative addendum, they finally came at 9pm! This place is the worst.you'd be in better hands just giving your precious items to a random person with a car.the owner's "solution" was to take off 75 dollars from the overall bill.wow, thanks.

Dishonest company. They damaged my furniture and I was assured by the lead mover after he talked to the co-owner(Stormy) that they would pay for the repairs. After the move and payment they won't answer my calls. Very strange behavior when the bill was more than $6,000 and the repair they agreed to pay for was $600. I wonder why their business is going downhill?. Do yourself a favor and use someone else, anyone else.

My original plan fell through and I needed help very last minute. Margaret's crew and Margaret were so nice and responsive and eager to help. They showed up within an hour and helped me pack on time. I can't express my appreciation for them!

I have used Margaret's Moving and Storage at least six times locally. This time I needed family heirlooms moved from Tennessee to Kentucky. I knew I could trust Margaret's team to be efficient, timely, and secure. Margaret and her team have always provided excellent service and peace of mind. This move was very important to my family and everything was done perfectly.

It has been almost 7 years since I moved, but I remember it well. The crew were very friendly, very efficient, and they set to work right away. My move was at 8 AM and by 12:30 PM or so I was in my new residence (this was an in-town Louisville move). No damage was done to any of my furniture or possessions. The charges for the move were quite reasonable. If and when I move again I will definitely call Margaret's Moving.

Surprise I received this request for a review since it was back I believe in 2013. I do remember the guys were really nice and kind very patient and tried very hard to take some furniture upstairs for me that just would not fix. If I remember correctly once I called the office I didn't have to pay for this service since the job wasn't completed. I do remember how hard they tried to accommodate me. So nice and kind something that people just aren't these days.

This was my first time using any moving company, and it will definitely be my last. This was a great company all the wall around. From the ladies answering the phone to Stan and Dwayne's awesome delivery skills and service. They were professional, nice and great workers. I'm definitely recommending this company.

If you ever want that feeling of "You don't have to worry or lift a finger" sensation then this is the moving company for you. They handled every item as if it were their own. with care and professionalism. If we make plans on moving again there will be no debate on who we're calling. Margaret 's Moving & Storage!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this moving company. There were many issues with the move but the fact that they would not pay out on what they agreed they'd pay out on damaged property claim is a big part of this. I'm not saying they didn't agree, they said they take responsibility for the damage, made me fill out forms/pictures etc. Made me wait weeks on end to get the amount they'd pay but NEVER PAID.

The fact that they NEVER returned a call or email regarding this is the final straw. They reached out after over 3 years today. not to follow up on their non-paid claim, but to ask me to review them. Well here you go.

We used Margaret's to move our home 5 years ago. I've refrained from making a negative review because the experience was incredibly frustrating and nearly cost us money. I just wanted it to be over. But after the third email I received requesting that we leave a review, I decided that if they were not aware enough to understand why I wouldn't leave a review that I should go ahead and share my thoughts. First, I had to reschedule with this company multiple times because we required two trucks and the first two times we scheduled they called to let us know after we confirmed that they would only have one truck available for the large majority of the time we scheduled.

I booked them to move us out of a home we were selling and had a deadline to be out. We were moving from a home that was over 4,000 ft, and I communicated multiple times that one truck would not be sufficient and they committed to having two trucks for our move. When they arrived for the scheduled move day two trucks showed up as scheduled. Within 30 minutes one truck left to go do another job in the middle of our move.

I called multiple times and complained about needing two trucks to meet our deadline of getting out of the home on time without having to pay them extra, and was assured that the other move would only take 30 to 45 minutes. That was not true. We were with one truck for almost two and a half hours of the four hours we scheduled. They also left one entire closet and half a room full of our belongings when they finally finished and drove off.

This caused us to have to rush to finish our job on our own caused us to be late arriving to our closing that evening, For which we should have been charged a penalty and reschedule. When they arrived to move our things in to our new home two days later several pieces of our furniture were broken. One of our televisions was not functioning, and the only feedback I received from the moving team was that the broken pieces were not high quality furniture and they couldn't be blamed for breaking them.

When I called to complain about our terrible experience, Margaret refused to answer the phone and would not talk to me. I was repeatedly told that she was unavailable and never actually spoke to her one on one. I did speak with her husband who begged me not to leave a bad review because he was having an upcoming surgery and Margaret was stressed out from trying to run the business and take care of him at the same time. I don't know if any of that was true, But the fact that Margaret refused to speak to me directly makes me believe it was not. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have used Margaret's Moving 5 Times and have been completely satisfied with their excellence. They are always on time, very professional and courteous. They are careful with your furniture and make sure that your belongings are protected during the moving process. They are very competitive in their pricing. I recommend them highly and will use them again as the need arises.

Odd getting a request to provide feedback on a move that occurred almost 10 years ago but here it is. From what I recall, the guys did a good job. Something happened with the schedule and we ended up moving on a Friday night. We provided pizza and soft drinks to the crew plus tip. The next morning one of my credit cards was used at a gas station in the west end which I don't visit to get gas or anything else.

It was a couple hundred dollars. We called Margaret's to tell them since no one else had access to my personal belongings. They just said they didn't do it. Not sure how you prove they did. I guess this could happen anywhere. Just be very vigilant with any moving company. We haven't used them again.

I have used Margaret's Moving services twice; the first time was great! Very professional, kind movers that took care with our household items. Thinking they were a great company, I used them again to put items I had in our basement into a POD so that we could finish the space. Within the first 10 min, after I had shown them the space, one of their movers supposedly twisted his ankle.

Medical care was offered and denied. I called the office to inform them and they assured me that he would be taken care of and not to worry. Fast forward a couple weeks and we were sued by said moving employee, even though they had workers comp. Margaret's Movers did not respond to my phone calls after that and my insurance company, against my wishes, settled.

I didn't know that you could be sued by a bonded, insured employee separate from their company- apparently you can! We were very disappointed in Margaret's Moving for allowing this to happen and for not communicating with us during this ordeal.

I wouldn't wish these people on my enemy. Damaged Thousands of Dollars worth or furniture ( Some looks intentional). They moved our house into a storage unit and had stacked our couches and mattresses so you couldn't see how bad it was until it was unpacked and we found this. They show zero care for your belongings and are very rude.
