I arranged to store my stuff here sight-unseen when moving back to Texas from West Virginia. The manager (owner?) is a really nice guy, and strikes me as pretty honest and straightforward. I asked him if there'd been any flooding in the time he'd been there, and he said over several decades, there hadn't been any so far. This is good, because it's all ground-level storage.
I got one of the climate-controlled 5x8 spaces, and it definitely met my needs. It was clean, cool, and mold-free. Moreover, while my car flooded twice in the last year in two different places in Houston (the airport parking lot and on my street), my stored belongings were high and dry the entire time. Check-in took a while because he writes kind of slowly, but check-out required absolutely zero effort on my part.
He also has an automatic payment system, which made my life super easy; it just charged my card $55 per month. Access is by personal gate code, and then there's a door code to get into your unit's building. You supply your own lock. Be aware that they do have hours during which you cannot access your things.
