They do a good job moving and efficient but as far as communication with office staff is difficult and instructions of what you want in service is less than desirable.

My disabled mother needed help moving the majority of the large things in her house before tomorrow when she gets evicted. They came and stayed for an hour and then immediately left after she signed the contract saying there was too much to move. They would have had about 4 other people helping them as well. We packed the majority of her things but now we have to leave things behind that are important to her because we can't pack it all by ourselves, also the manager and desk lady never called her back after the movers walked out This is quite literally affecting my mother's health now. If you have to move in a short amount of time DO NOT go to these people. You'd be wasting the time you don't have.

This is the best moving company I have ever used. So professional, they took great care with my belongings, and made me feel safe and secure. They arrived at our destination on time and were worth every penny. I have heard horror stories about other moving companies and I cannot recommend Escanaba Moving enough.

These guys are great! Had a gun safe that was being delivered. Had no idea they were delivering to the driveway only. I was told that when they called to confirm the delivery. In a panic I called EMS and spoke to Tom. He was at my house in 20 minutes to gauge the situation and give me an estimate. Time was a factor because I didnt want a $1k safe sitting outside.

I spoke to Tom on Tuesday, the safe was being delivered the next day. He said they would be there Thursday so it would only sit outside overnight. Midday Wednesday he called and said they finished up the day early and asked if they could come Wednesday instead of Thursday. I said of course as I was concerned about leaving it outside and Tom knew this.

The safe was 750 lbs so I didnt expect anyone to walk away with it but leaving a grand outside in the driveway made me uneasy. They came a day early, did EVERYTHING, and finished in an hour or so. Tom and his guys are courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Nothing was a big deal and they knocked it out quickly with a smile. That safe is a "beast" and they were more than happy to move it in with ease. I will definitely be calling them when we move to our own place. They were amazing! Worth every nickel.

These movers are a bunch of pigs the way they treated my items just throwing them in a box dirty items with clean items throwing anything anyway using old boxes from prior moves with no wrapping paper so everything gets damaged they threw all of my CDs into a flower pot full of soil they disrespect you so horribly in every way even verbally when you call to complain and with them the customer is always wrong do not use them all the care about is money and running from One job to another doing nothing right all they want is money and they are highly dishonest they have kids working for them who lie and disrespect other people when they unload they park in front of other peoples driveways without permission It is now almost 4 months and so much stuff is screwed up they lost a power cord to an expensive $80 antique boombox for Magnavox and I can't get a replacement for this is so messed up. They also took my brand new computer I am so damn furious

The guys that came to move my things were very courteous and respectful. They all worked efficiently with each other to get the job done. I enjoyed talking to them and I was very comfortable with them handling my stuff. I greatly appreciate the hard work!

This was my first time using a moving company and service was absolutely excellent. I had taken ownership over a fleet of small sailboats on the East Coast and had to find a way to get them to Michigan. Initially I had priced out a one way flight, rent a large U-haul etc. to get them back in my own and the logistics were a huge mess Called Escanaba Moving Systems and recieved a quote which wasn't too much more than the items stated above. The deal maker was having the peace of mind having a professional company handle it.

Called to move a large cabinet. The person who set it up was super helpful, called to double check times and the gentlemen who moved it were prompt and on time. Thank you so much!

Worst experience ever! Would give negative rating if possible. Up front, friendly and helpful but the morning of the move an employee called in sick and took 2 hours to replace them. Was told "hopefully we can still make this happen". When they did arrive while loading they broke my office desk and said they took pictures and the office would call Monday to create a claim and replace the desk.

No call Monday so I called Tuesday and the owner called me back and in short, said my desk was "that inexpensive furniture" and they weren't going to replace it. After several more minutes of him reiterating how cheap and unworthy of replacement my personal belongings were, I said good bye! He had a total disregard for me and my personal belongings.

Have since talked with a few others that have had the same experience. Would not recommend them if they were the last moving company in town. A little customer service goes a LONG way Escanaba Moving System.

Would never reccomend. We started getting surprised when the guys unloading brought in something that wasn't broken. Everything was poorly packed, the truck itself was loaded poorly, and at the end of the day we have a massive pile of stuff that had been damaged, crushed, and broken. Apparently the word Fragile on a small box means load an ottoman. and a couple of heavy boxes on top of it.

A priceless family heirloom was destroyed, our kids' bunk bed was destroyed, artwork, chest freezer, washer, and many more things were either crushed or broken. Do yourself a favor, stay away from these guys.

I had the best experience with EMS, Inc that I had to share. With the stresses from moving from Escanaba MI to Green Bay WI already on my mind, this company went beyond my expectations. From making deliveries work at different times, to the friendly guys that carefully packed and unpacked my stuff, it was a perfect experience. I highly recommend them for your move. On top of all of that, nothing was broken or scratched! Not even the poorly packed dishes that I packed =

Working for a family owned and operated moving company has been the best experience. I love to connect with my customers and help them through their move every step of the way.
