Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Horrible service, items were stored for 9 years with this company and suck8ng up all my money but when my items were finally released things were missing damaged. Submitted a claim and zero response. I repat do not store your items here at all.

Giogle doesn't allow zero stars, because Ellis deserves it, or Lee's. I was called on 6/1/22 to schedule a delivery to my home. We confirmed a delivery date of 6/3/22 between 11a-3p. Well 3pm came, nothing. Then 4pm. Then 5pm. Then 6pm. You get the picture. It is 6/4/22 and no delivery. No call to update me. Ellis Moving and Storage, you guys really need to up your professionalism.

Great delivery company. Ordered a couch and was given a delivery date and was delivered on that day within the time frame. No issues from me and this was my third delivery with Ellis

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Called 5 times. No Answer. Told my very expensive vanity was going to be delivered at 4pm. It was not and now I can not get a single person on the phone. They are a 3rd party shipping company to major companies so I will be letting the primary know what a terrible job this company has done. Way to screw this up.

Here's my recent home delivery. Ellis was contracted by the manufacturer and the driver left the very heavy item in the road at the end of our long driveway. I have no way to move it and they won't answer their phone or return messages to help.

Their response to any phone calls went unanswered. My shipment arrived their "storage" facility and was held for over three months. 3 MONTHS! Numerous phone calls to their "scheduler" with all my details--no call back, no reply of course it would help if someone actually picked up the damn phone to ask for a manager or supervisor. I LOVE to talk to someone who MATTERED.

In the mean time, my kitchen project remains unfinished and has been waiting on three pieces from the cabinet maker. Ellis received these three pieces (around) July 6th. They've since lost/misplaced an item that's 4'x8'. Prior to that the somehow misdirected a 39"x12x16" cabinet until JUST TWO DAYS ago. If NEGATIVE stars were capable of rating their customer service and business practices--it wouldn't be ENOUGH! Do NOT USE ELLIS MOVING AND STORAGE--THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS!

They are impossible! You get a text saying it's time to schedule a move and you call, leave a message, and never hear back. I ordered chairs from ZGallerie that arrived months ago to Nashville and yet they have not been delivered. The one time I spoke with Caitlin she promised to "call me on Monday" with an update on when they might be in my area and guess what she did not follow through.

I have called on a weekly basis since then and still nothing. The even bigger problem is that when you call ZGallerie customer service they also do nothing and simply say they promise to call you. Avoid doing business with them at all costs. If you order something confirm Ellis Moving is not delivering it or it will be lost indefinitely. I am beyond frustrated and have ZERO confidence to hear from them, despite all of the money I paid for my furniture.

I have even offered to pick it up myself and still NOTHING. This company is incompetent and should not be allowed to conduct business! All of the one star reviews are spot on- they do not even deserve one. Stay FAR away-

Took 5 1/2 weeks to deliver product, including one no show/no call delivery appointment. Unresponsive. Calls go unanswered. Voicemails not returned. After 5 1/2 weeks of trying to get my delivery, it was missing one item. No response to manufacturer's dock search request. Replacement of lost item will take another 5 weeks. This company has single-handedly delayed my kitchen remodel by two months. Do not use this company.

Stay away from this company the absolute worse just like everyone else left numerous messages with no call back they are the delivery partners for Purple mattress so if you live in the Nashville area so stay away from them also. I have a real problem with already making 2 Payments on an item I don't even have the women who's job it is to handle customer service Is a real peach her real job is just to lie to customers

I couldn't Eco Tiffany's review below any louder, just replace to Purple mattress. Saying they are inept gives them to much credit, how may company allows them to be their vendor . Ellis Moving received my order on 6/21, I received a call on 6/22 saying my order would be delivered 6/29 No Call No Show. I then left multiple messages without response and did not hear from anyone till 7/13.

The lady acted like nothing happened and said it would be delivery 7/16 between 1-5pm, Again No Call No Show. I understand we the customer are not choosing them so please relay this message to the company you ordered from whom is using Ellis Moving & storage as their vendor.

UPDATE 7/15: Article refunded our money and has said that this has been a consistent issue with this company to get anything delivered in the Nashville. Article is looking for another delivery company to partner with. So sadly we won't be getting our couch due to Ellis but glad to know Article is no longer wanting to work with them. Would 1000% give this place zero stars if I could.

One star is way too generous. We ordered a sofa from Article to be delivered. Found out our delivery date wouldn't be scheduled for weeks so I asked if we could come get it ourselves. now that we have tried to find a rental to drive an hour to pick up our furniture no one will return or calls or answer the phone for us to even do the work of getting our item ourselves.

All of these negative reviews are 1000% accurate. I don't understand how they are in business and super disappointed that we paid so much money just for a joke of a company to keep us from getting our item. Do yourself a favor and find a different company to work with.

They delivered the wrong item I refused to take it cause it wasn't my couch they brought a recliner but the documented that my couch was delivered now I have to get the law involved the company I purchased it from says my couch was delivered but I haven't seen it now I can't any one to answer my call or call me or even text me back so I am hiring a attorney to send them a letter of intent to sue for my time and furniture scammers do not use these people

Ellis was the vendor who delivered our Woodmark cabinet order. 15 boxes of cabinets. They showed up earlier than the delivery window, so we had to hustle home from a planned event. Showed up in a huge truck and had to make three passes to get to our driveway entrance via a path other than what we recommended. When we asked if they could leave the truck at the end of our freshly poured concrete driveway and dolly the boxes up, they said "no way, that's way too far to carry these" (it was about 80 feet to the garage and I could single handedly carry all but two of the boxes).

So they proceeded to take 10 minutes, and a 40 point turn to get the truck back to the garage. They then proceeded to carry every box by the straps. despite the boxes being clearly labeled with "DO NOT CARRY BY STRAPS". The experience left a very unprofessional taste.

The absolute worst company. I bought a mattress fromJcpenney and it was to be delivered between 1 and 5. At 1:05 I get a call from the office and am asked to call the driver with directions to my house. We did no answer. At 2 I call the office they said they have tried calling the driver 3 times no answer. At 4:50 I call the office and they are gone for the day.

At 5:35 the helper calls me and tells me he tried calling me several times and I am not getting my mattress and he will screen shot the calls. He hung up on me and he did send me the screen shot It shows he placed 3 calls unless than a minute to 3 people. It is ludicrous no apology no let me re schedule but it is my fault as the customer. Even though his own office couldn't find him.

Who knows? What I do know is I cancelled my order and will not deal with the rudeness or incompetence. Want to add smoke to the office this am and they assured me this never happens and basically nothing.

I was pretty nervous after reading all the reviews. But they did what they promised for me. Got here within the promised window, called to give me 20 minutes advance notice, and got here in 20 minutes. I will say that they were not what I would call "professional" movers. More like enthusiastic amateurs. They had to borrow my box cutter. (LOL!) You could tell they weren't quite used to carrying large boxes upstairs, and I was a little worried about stability a couple of times. But overall, they did a good job, and were quite friendly.

I wish I had known this was the delivery service Sam's club was going to use to deliver my bed, I would've shopped somewhere else! They can't FIND MY BED! It was supposed to be delivered LAST WEEK! When I called they said EVERYONE was in the warehouse looking for people's lost stuff?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! They said to give them till MONDAY. IT IS MONDAY TODAY NOBODY HAS CALLED AND THEY WON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE! I have company coming for the holidays and NEED THAT BED! I wish I could leave NEGATIVE STARS!

I would give negative stars if it were possible. I ordered a bed from Costco who uses a logistic company that contracted these clowns for the final delivery and set up. They received the bed on the 15th of the month, messed up the deliver address, and then could not correct their own mistake and wanted me to wail until the 7th of the next month for delivery.

Add to that the fact that they were rude on the phone and not willing to lift one finger to go out of their way. I made sure Costco knew of my issue and encouraged them to seek another vendor. These clowns are INCOMPETENT and I would not hire them to walk across the street.

This is a terrible company. They have problems that prevent them from being a good reputable company. I have tried several times to tell them when I am available to receive my deliver and they can not get it figured out. There are so many other companies out there why bother with them. Save yourself heart ache and money and go with another company. You can thank me later.

By far probably the worst delivery experience. They're not willing to work around some else's schedule. Our mattress arrived 2 weeks after the delivery date. Not only was it late but also defective. We talked to Sams Club and they agreed to send us a new spring box. According to them, the item is at Ellis Moving & storage. This is the 4th time we have to reschedule and honestly it's really not about the product, but principles.

My wife and I had to request off several days in order to work around their schedule and still nothing. We keep calling and calling and no one picks up the phone. If anyone happens to answer they sounds impolite, and put one on hold for a very long time. I don't understand why people keep doing business with them.

This is the WORST moving company in America. Had an Ikea order early summer. They call to schedule the appt and NEVER SHOW UP! No call or explanation. I call next day and they say sorry had to add it to today's deliveries. Never show up. I go on vacation for 10 days and have to call them to reschedule and they show up a week later. Another Ikea order that was delivered to them August 16th '17 and as of today, September 5 2017 I called them and they still do not have an ETA for delivery. just sorting through orders.

Their attitude is even worse than their service if that is possible. Please do not use this delivery service if you have any other option. They will not communicate with you and you only get the delivery when they feel like it which is WEEKS after they have gotten it.

By far the worst movers we've ever used and being in the military we are professional movers, ha. The staff was super unprofessional when at the house. It was clear they didn't care about our house or our belongings while packing. Stuff was literally just thrown into boxes, glass was not wrapped, and once loaded onto the truck they had no regard for making sure furniture stayed protected.

Multiple things broken. Luckily the military has this nice little form you fill out and then they will no longer use this piece of crap moving company. If you are not associated with the military but you need a moving company, might I suggest Thompson Moving and Storage. Nothing broken and very professional.

If I could give no stars I would. Horrible company to deal with. Everyone that works there is rude and stupid and could care less about customer service. I will make sure next time I order something with white glove delivery it will not come through these jokers. Sam's club should not still be using these idiots for delivery

THE WORST! I ordered a mattress from Sam's Club that was to be delivered via MXD group who subcontracted Ellis home delivery. After 3 weeks they called to schedule my delivery for August 9. Unfortunately I missed the delivery because I was flying back to Nashville and had a flight canceled. I called them in the morning to let them know, but apparently they never notified the driver.

They called two days later to tell me the next available date for delivery would be Aug. 20. Their business is literally 10 miles from my home. They are totally uncompromising, difficult to get in contact with, and do not care one bit about satisfying their customers. Avoid them at all costs!
