Ed's Moving & Storage was founded in 1965 by Ed Scheidt. Ed took a chance and set out on his own and started Ed's Moving & Storage, based in Tacoma, WA. Ed's is now owned by Scott Coyle, but the values of Ed's remains the same: we're still in Tacoma, we're still family-owned, and we are still dedicated to a high level of quality and customer service.

I would like to thank Daniel and Rico for handling our recent move in such a professional, efficient and friendly manner. They arrived on time, loaded very quickly and unloaded quickly. They were easy to work with and patient with us as we decided where furniture should go. I could not recommend them higher.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their employees stole my husbands wallet then proceeded to spend $1600 on businesses within 1 mile of Ed's Moving Companies warehouse. $500 at "Gold Doctor", $200 at a beauty store next to Gold Doctor, and other purchases in the local area and online. Do you know how hard it is to recover your Drivers Licenses, Military ID, and all your Credit Cards when you are MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY in 24 hours? Afterward we discovered all sorts of trash they left everywhere. Do not use this company.

Almost an hour late without calling. Office doesn't answer the phone and no one returns phone calls. Unless you're looking to hire, then communication is very prompt and clear. Movers damaged my brand new black finished headboard with a large gouge in the center-middle, huge hole in my box spring, handful of deep scratches in the hardwood floor of the house I moved out of, 3 deep gouges in the walls, and broke a railroad tie step into my home. Movers moved at an acceptable steady pace while I was there to monitor, but as soon as I had to leave them alone it took over 2 hours to load a bed (already broken down) and a tv. I'm still finding more things that they damaged in the move. I'm so surprised that a BBB endorsed company ended up being the worst moving company I've ever hired.

Ed's Moving and Storage is the best! They take such good care in moving and wrapping everything with care and detail. I would not use any other company for future moves or storage. They are very reasonably priced and will store your furniture for you until you are ready, if necessary. Very nice people to work with and super professional. I highly recommend their service.
