Phil and his crew were great! They were personable and worked steadily and quickly while taking care of all of my belongings. The guys were so good that they even moved some furniture to another room after it had been placed somewhere else! If I ever have to do another move I will call Phil.you should too, if you are looking for dependable and reliable movers!

Moving is never fun so thankfully Phil and his guys are around to make it easier. Phil is very responsive, he answered every call and every question I had before booking. The crew showed up early and ready to get my move done. The team was careful with my belongings without riding the clock or over-packaging/wrapping things. Very reliable, efficient and professional. They arrived on time, got everything out and packed safely. When my car wouldn't start and I became overwhelmed with all that I had going on they were very supportive and helpful. We got to the apartment and it was not a walk-in level as I had been told previously. They waited for a few and then we just went ahead and moved in. They worked with me during the entire move. All and all excellent service. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone!

This is a great moving company! Not only did they have great rates, they were on time, friendly, and they went above and beyond and took the time to hook up the washer and drier. Phil is awesome. I highly recommend discount movers!

They were all so professional and down to earth. I had worked the night before my move and they were so helpful. They even connected my washer and dryer without me asking! They were quick, efficient, and affordable. I would refer them to anyone I know!

I looked at their reviews before moving and saw how everyone was satisfied with the price and move. I however, wasn't as satisfied. This was my first time using a moving company and I guess I was expecting more. Here is my honest experience. The first thing was the mileage to and from I wasn't expecting to pay for and I didn't hear about it until the day of my move.

The second thing was that they started the clock when they pulled in the parking lot, not when they actually started moving. 3rd It took 3 hrs to move 2 beds, breaking one down, 4 dressers, 2 bags, pieces from bunk beds, a broken down table, 4 mattress, 2 box springs, sofa and love seat recliners, and 7 seating chairs, washer and dryer and setting the bed back up.

I still have bags left in my apartment, that needs to be moved, but I was already pushing almost $400 and I didn't want to continue paying. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't think I would be out of that much money and still have to move some items out myself. It was two guys that came and Phil managed as they loaded and unloaded. I do think the younger guy was moving faster than the older guy and that could have played a big part as well.

I have moved before and 3 hrs I would have normally been done with my entire apartment, but I've heard of people using companies and decided to try one. I give them 3 stars bcz I think they could have moved a little bit faster and completed an entire apartment move in less time.

I had the pleasure of using Discount Movers on Friday, January 26th. Phil was excellent in helping me with this movie. Everything went as planned, on time, courteous, took great care with my furnishings, and reasonable. The guys went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I gladly recommend them and would use again.

I will be using Discount Movers for my next move. The price was Awesome for what all I needed moved. Then it started raining I was looking for the guys to stop but no they keep moving and they had blankets to cover my items up to keep them from getting wet. I was really shocked when the owner Phil helped moved items. This is what you call dedication to the job at it's best.

Quick! Efficient! Professional! The two guys that moved my things (I can't remember their names) were great! They got my things moved in under the estimated time. They definitely know what they are doing. Phil, the owner, also keeps in touch with you up until the time of your move, which I love. I would 100% recommend them!

Excellent company that took care of all of my belongings while not wasting a second getting it done when moving apartments. Everyone was super friendly and even hooked up my washer/dryer at my new apartment. Great customer service. Will definitely recommend.

Phil and his staff are awesome. This moving company went above and beyond. I highly recommend them for all your moving needs. They are very friendly, hardworking, helpful, and are an excellent team. Most definitely using them again!

RACIST.RACIST.RACIST.RACIST DISCOUNT MOVERS are the worst moving company I have encountered. From the beginning they moved at a slow pace & were very unorganized. The owner did nothing but smoke outside my home & walk around with a clip board. He requested the money for the services as soon as they arrived, in which I gave him $220 upfront.as if I wasn't going to pay them.

His 2 movers (Solomon & James) were unorganized well at least James was b/c he did more talking than moving. He arrived at my home at 9:35 am & I was advised that it would be $105 an hour which was fine. They were moving at slow pace and he decided to tell me at 11:30 that he needed an additional $160. I advised him that at 12:05 I wanted them to stop b/c they had slowed around so much to where he could continuously charge me.

He then told me that I had to pay them for the time it took to arrive at my home & to take my things to storage & to take his truck back to his business. So he added an additional 15 mins to the total, which was fine so the total hrs were 2.45 hrs (9:30-12:30pm plus the 15 mins he added for his travel time).he then said it equated to 2.75 (which is incorrect)!

We debated for almost an hour about how he was adding the total incorrectly.my sister who teaches math advised him that he was trying to over charge me.2.75 hrs equates to 3 hrs 15 mins. Mr. Phill(I guess thats his name b/c he never formally introduced himself to me.smh) then proceeded to get upset & I pd him $270 which was way over what I was supposed to.

So I had to practically take my receipt from him, and that's when he called me a n****r & black b****h & that he doesn't like to deal with black people. I was simply shocked and appalled that he felt the need to use those words. I WAS LIVID! I WILL MAKE IT MY DUTY GOING FORWARD THAT NO ONE I KNOW WILL EVER DO BUSINESS WITH A RACIST! It's never ok to use those words, he is the definiton of pure trash!
