Desert Plastics, LLC was formed in 1999 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a handicapped, woman-owned small business utilizing the Rotational Molding (aka Rotomolding) and Plastic Fabrication processes. Albuquerque has a very diverse business base ranging from a very large Intel facility, Sandia National Labs and Los Alamos National Labs (plus the major engineering firms that support them) to smaller local manufacturers and the film industry.

I have a Little Free Library that, after frequent use, badly needed new doors. I didn't even know who would be able to help. I came across Desert Plastics and was able to submit an inquiry online. Vanessa responded quickly and professionally that they would be able to provide me a quote if I could provide a template. I was able to bring in the old doors for them to use as a template. They said it would take 7-10 days, but everything was ready in just a few days after I placed the order. The doors look great and are functional and sturdy! Thank you!

I wanted a good quality rain barrel that could hold at least 100 gallons, looked good and could withstand a winter freeze. I found just what I was looking for at Desert Plastics. We just happened to be visiting Albuquerque so we went by to look at their products. Vanessa, the sales person was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. We paid more than we would have, had we bought a blue food grade barrel and we had to pay shipping to Portland, Oregon but I am extremely pleased with the quality and look of our barrel.

Horrible customer service. They couldnt even give me the manufacturer instructions on how to install the product. When i asked they just shrugged their shoulders. Next time ill just pay the shipping to buy online.
