I would highly.highly.highly recommend Colony Moving Storage. I had hired another company and the day before they bailed on me and ghosted me. Colony Moving was amazing. Stepped in and did what they said they would do at a very reasonable cost. They did an AMAZING job as well with the move. 5 star service.

I have had a lot of experience with professional movers & Colony was A+! Karen in the office was professional and very helpful in assisting us to sort out what we needed in the time frame we needed it. Roger and Chase showed up on time with a "can do" attitude. They worked efficiently and packed the truck professionally to maximize space and to protect the contents. Thet even came with a good sense of humor. When attitude sometimes is everything, the Colony team had the professional attitude one would want. I recommend Colony to anyone who is looking for movers.

We moved mid-August 2020 and Ashley was very responsive during the coordination of our move date. The crew who moved us was very careless and quite pompous. They damaged our master bedroom hardwood floor at our new house. We reported to them before they left in which the lead guy was extremely dismissive of it but did fill out the proper paperwork. After 3 emails to the company, we still have NO response! We just opened one of the tv boxes they moved and. the tv is smashed. Do not use them!

Price was good, pickup and delivery was as scheduled. Issue was three of them unloaded and had hard time checking off all boxes. My mistake was there were boxes unchecked, and I stupidly trusted them and checked all but one box off as received. I filed a claim for the one box not checked off. Unfortunately on the bottom of the form the driver said I had to sign on two lines.
I did not read them and one said I received everything. Even though I did have one box not checked off they declined my claim. I should have been able to claim the one unchecked box even though I did check off others that I did not receive.

The absolute WORST movers I have ever had. I've moved many many times and have seen the gamut in movers, but this company was the absolute worst by a mile, no contest. I hired them to pack & move our household. They broke these items: desk, dresser, BBQ, wedding gift from sister, gift from late mother. They punched a hole in our wall, bent our door knob, gouged our deck with our piano, and backed their truck into our deck with the ramp extended gouging it in a different place.
They carried boxes with up arrows upside down. They told us they were pros at moving pianos, but they arrived with NO PIANO MOVING EQUIPMENT THAT PROFESSIONAL PIANO MOVERS ALWAYS USE: no protectors for the doorways, no protectors for the piano, no lift on their truck! They started to move the piano through a doorway with very little clearance without so much as a blanket on the piano!
When I told them to protect it with a blanket one complained that I was making his job more difficult. News flash: that is the job! After the blanket was put over the piano they proceeded to scrape it along the door frame. Good thing I told them to use a blanket. I wish I had hired someone else, and I would NEVER hire them again! If I could give zero stars, I would.

I'm sending this note to commend the two teams that coordinated our recent move. We had 2 crews at our home, as we were downsizing, and furniture was being delivered to 2 different addresses. The first crew, Joshua, Brandon, and Ben, were incredibly polite, deliberate, and careful with the move. They were incredibly flexible and made sure everything was completed quickly and safely.
By the end of the two days, I felt as if I should invite them over for dinner, as they not only worked efficiently, but created an uneventful environment at a very stressful time. Everything went smoothly. The second crew, Ray and? (I'm sorry but I forget his name), were equally as pleasant. Everything was delivered as expected with no issues to my daughter's home. Nothing was damaged. None of the property was knicked, banged, scratched. I would highly recommend Colony Movers to any friend who needs moving assistance.
