The owner of this company is very rude and unprofessional. He accused me wanting to abuse his workers for asking them to work and move my household on a Sunday. Lots of people work on Sundays, it is a fair question to ask. I will find another company and be sure my real estate agent who referred me to this company knows of their terrible customer service.

I have used Carney's services several times over several years. This last experience, like all the others, was unremarkable in that all service levels including courtesy, concerns, timeliness, efficiency, and quality were 100%. This move was particularly complex in that there were 3 locations that required both pick up and delivery. Other movers may be good, but Carney's is the best!

We contracted with Carneys to unload our truck. They are not the guys who loaded it. They were prompt when they shows up and very fast to unload our 26' tractor trailer. Everything was placed where it needed to be and they were also very kind in letting my 7-year old help unload a few light boxes with their hand truck. If moving can be enjoyable they certainly made it that way for us. They were respectful and clean and very patient with us when we made changes. I would definitely use them again.

They arrived early for an 8 am move. The men were courteous, professional, and efficient. They worked swiftly and with ease ( it wasn't their first time). Nothing was broken, furniture was cared for, and they were very gentle with all of my plants. I can't say enough good things about this company. The receptionist went above and beyond to accommodate my move date.

They called after the move to see if I was happy with the move. I could not find a bag with cable equipment, they called the moving guys and they looked for it in the truck; then one of the guys remembered seeing it downstairs and that's exactly we're it was. Carney's movers are the BEST!

Can't say enough good about this company. The response to my request for an estimate was quick. The scheduled move from Reno to Minden went off without a hitch! We had Carneys do a local pack & move for us in April. They are fantastic. The quote was very reasonable. It's helpful that they gave a low & high end cost. They are very accommodating. We had to push out our move so that we could have epoxy coating installed in the garage of the new home. The crew showed up on time. They were all extremely friendly, professional and caring. The crew worked so hard and fast that they came in under the low end estimate.

I am very happy with the service I received from Carney's Full Service Movers. When I called for a quote, Angela and Kenny were kind, patient, and upfront regarding the cost/fees - and I really liked that they did not pressure me into scheduling my move with them right away (which has been my experience with most other moving services). The three men who helped me move were punctual, professional, and courteous.

They worked really hard, efficiently, and without complaint. They did not take any rest or smoke breaks (which was most appreciated as I am sensitive to cigarette smoke). They also constantly checked in with me regarding where I wanted my belongings placed. I also appreciated that they treated my belongings and my home with care (there was only one minor scratch in the wall).

I highly recommend Carney's Movers and will definitely use them for my next move. The only way my move could have been improved is if they provided some kind of floor protection to keep the floors from getting dirty.

Friendly, professional, fast, fair. When they answer the phone and all the way thru the process to the time they finish and drive away is nothing but a excellent experience. The employees are clean and hard working, the trucks are clean and well maintained. Two things I fear in life is the IRS and hiring movers, well thanks to these guys im only left with one fear.

If I ever have a move within the area or need an item moved, I will definitely hire Carney's again. Carney's movers helped me move everything swiftly and yet carefully. Nothing broke and the three guys, on the move day, handled everything like it was their own property. They sure know how to put my mind at ease. Angela, who helped me with booking responded quickly to my request and was so thorough and helped me pick a date that worked for both of us. She was incredibly thoughtful and considerate when it came to my needs. The entire process was effortless for me and easy flowing.

We hired Carneys last month to move us across Reno. It was in midst of COVID 19, so I was concerned. They were the only ones who would do an in person estimate (seems like that was the case with or without the virus). They gave us a reasonable estimate and locked in a move date. Upfront, they were very clear about process etc. They checked in the day before (which they said they would) to ensure everything was on schedule, to confirm and also reiterate timing, etc.

Day of the move- they were on time, super efficient and friendly. We practiced good social distancing and got our move done in less time than expected and under the estimate. The guys hustled, but were careful. We had zero issues and I would recommend Carneys! Moving is always stressful and painful. not this time! Thanks!

Dear Robert C of Carney's Full Service Movers, You're welcome although your response here of "sir" to my Yelp Review is discriminatory, ignorant, arrogant, and disrespectful to all (we) women who have Honorably worn the uniform of America's Armed Forces because women are Veterans, too. Also, since you write "it's how we pay the bills" since you spent and spend money on a website but clearly you don't have a way to ensure responses to your website get through to you nor even care that you don't and equally as clearly don't and didn't check your spam as you allege responses to your website go to, instead of you whining here about what I'm supposed to do as your customer, why didn't you and why don't you ensure responses to your website get through to you and for another matter why didn't you thank me for bringing this couple of clear failures in your business practices to your attention? Had Carney's move me today and I was so pleased with the service. Not only were all three gentlemen polite, but they were quick and efficient. They really did a great job. They were careful with everything - wrapped all the furniture, but didn't mess around. It was very affordable. I will say I had everything boxed and ready to go. A side note - my king sized bed would not fit out the door and one of the guys disassembled the bed on site and then reassembled it on the other end with no issues, questions, or problems. So happy! Best money I ever spent.

Hands down best moving company in town! Great prices, excellent service, prompt and family value on top of it all! Highly recommend this company!

I cannot recommend Carneys high enough from the personal attention and estimate by the owner to the highly efficient and amazing scheduling and rescheduling managed by Angela to the three professionals who actually moved us. We had a unique situation occur about three days before our scheduled move and what seemed to be an impossible scheduling date: the previous owners of our new home scheduled Carney's to move them and so did we.

All was perfectly timed until the prior owners closing date changed and conflicted with our closing date. Angela found a way to get both of us moved on the same day; them with two trucks and four movers and us with one truck and three movers. It was unbelievably smooth and seamless. I really do not know what we would have done had it not been for the expert business acumen of Mr. Carney and his staff! Professional, caring, reliable, and respectful of our property.

Just unpacked one of my last boxes from last May. Will never use these movers again or recommend them to anyone. Pretty obvious this box was dropped or crushed. Practically everything in it (all collectibles) was crushed. All were heavily wrapped in bubble wrap. They also completely broke one of my chairs and handed me $20 for it. The lights in my bed headboard no longer work. Have no idea what caused that since they worked prior to the move. This was a big job and by the end of the day, you could tell they just wanted to be done with it.

Being retired Air Force you can say I've moved a few times in my life! After 13 prior moves, usually done by DoD contracted movers, I can say my 14th move by Carneys Full Service Movers was by far the most stress free experience I've had when your life is turned upside down while moving. Jay and his team were exceptionally professional, careful and mindful of our needs and our property.

This was a local move and everything was carefully blanketed and cared for. This was by far the best move I've ever had and hands down would recommend this company to anyone making a move! Thank you for such a great experience!

I know people who have used these guys but I never used the service before. Due to some personal issues I was hardly as prepared as I thought I should've been for the move. The movers assured me not to worry. They were speedy and careful. I would never do it any other way again! Fair and affordable
