Food, drink's, service, awesome! This place is exactly how the lake life should be.

Brands "Overpriced" Bar & Marina, walked up from the beach just visiting for the weekend and was able to go to the pool for free! Just ask someone for the bathroom code, everyone knows it or follow someone into the restroom if needed. Free showers too. Lots of kids splashing at the pool. Some of the folks are very scanty dressed, but most never wear their wristbands, and no one is checking. Coolers ok. Also they have dumpsters for trash too. Dog/Pet friendly. There were more kids in the hot tub than the pool itself. Code word is "Dalton's friend!"

After searching for help for repairs on my mast and standing rigging which were recommended following a survey, for my new-to-me sailboat, I was recommended to contact Brands' marina. Fully four months before the start of boating season, I communicated with Brian, an employee at Brands' by telephone. He was very professional and helpful and reassured me that they we able to do the job.

He eventually referred me to the current owner, Dalton Brand for this service who seemed to always be "out of the office", but reassured me would be able to do the job. I contacted Brian repeatedly over the winter about my project and was always reassured that he would express my concerns to Dalton and that we had time to complete my project. Two weeks before launch I communicated with Brian once again and was reassured that "Dalton is taking his kids near there next week for baseball, and will take a look".

The week of launch Dalton did "take a look", but I had to call him back for his opinion. He advised me that he had found nothing untoward, but admitted that he had not performed one of my basic requests (running messengers for additional halyard placement at a later time) and would try to do so before launch. As you might expect, this did not happen.

All of the time and expense of unstepping and having the mast surveyed and then restepping the mast (hours of work and $2,500.00 collectively) went for naught. Dalton did send me a text after the fact indicating that he was too busy with the start of boating season to attend to my project, but that was precisely why I had contacted Brands' four months before in an effort to avoid the crunch for both of us. I would recommend using caution when working with Dalton Brand who is unavailable and untrustworthy.

Wonderful marina! They do everything to help you with your boat. Get your fall maintenance scheduled now. They are understaffed and doesn't look like that's found to change anytime soon.

Great marina! Staff was so friendly and polite. Docks are really nice with water and electric.

Love their pool! And, the beach is across the street. Tons of places to eat and downtown shops are fun!

Stayed here for the first time and it was great! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Very reasonable rates. The new pool is very nice and the hot tub is fantastic! We will absolutely be back again.

Lied to and Overcharged! Promised work would be completed Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. Didn't finish work until Friday then overcharged me. Charged me 50% more than the boats manufacturer or nearby competitors would have charged me. They were however polite as they lied and overcharged me.
