My sister and brother-in-law (Suanne and Rusty Elliott) opened the first Blue Star Storage in Dallas TX for The Dallas Cowboys back in 1996. The location had both Regular Storage and Climate Controlled with a total of 600 units. At that time most storage facilities around here were all on (1) level as this one was. My husband Tommy and I moved here in 2002 from Arkansas to open a new facility for the Dallas Cowboys in Carrollton TX, which is part of the Dallas Metroplex. We worked as a team together with him mostly outside and I worked the office area.

Unfortunately they didn't have any spaces available when I stopped by but the wonderful lady who was there couldn't have been nicer. I wish I could have gone on their waiting list but I had to find something to replace Public Storage.

This place is outstanding and Jeanette and her husband, sorry I don't have his name, are always helpful friendly and very professional. Every time we are there and they see us in our unit they always stop by and see if they can be of any help. Great people!

Highly recommend this facility and the wonderful owners to anyone needing storage. I'm so gracious for Jeanette and her husband for my seemless experience in renting from Blue Star. Not only were they amazing to work with, they had, by far, more competitive rates than anyone else in the area!

Maybe the best staff I have ever experienced in all of the years I have rented storage units. I also would like to mention that there is no lighting inside the units that are not climate control, and you have limited access with a 8 PM cut off time daily. Those of us that are among the working world, are not always able to be home by 8 PM to access the storage units.

I had to move out because of this issue. I do like the exit gate, as you just pull up close to it, and it opens. No need to re-enter a code to exit. If they can get some lighting or electrical outlets inside the units, and extend this access time, especially during the summer to 10 PM, I would definitely be back. Probably the best Storage Unit Facility in Prosper, TX March 1, 2020. See I told you I would be back. Same people doing a spectacular job. I even see new construction here at BSS. 10 years later. Great People. Great Service.
