I am very pleased with our experience with Bay Shore Moving & Storage. They moved my parents from Long Island to Boston. It was a difficult move, but the team of men headed by Marlin worked non-stop, were professional, courteous, and did a great job. We appreciated everyone's good attitude and quality work. I highly recommend them.

I have to let you know what a wonderful experience we had with your company. Wilfredo, Brandon and George were awesome! Nothing was a problem and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They were so careful with all our furniture. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for a professional, pleasant experience! Barbara Barone

RUN don't walk AWAY from this horrible business! I moved cross country and it took over TWO MONTHS to get my belongings. Calls and emails went unanswered. It was blamed on COVID that they could not find a driver. When I FINALLY got my stuff TWO MONTHS later much was broken, packed poorly and items were missing. I have moved cross country several times and NEVER had such an AWFUL EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT LIKE I DID!

I can only comment on my actual experience but from that I would say buyer beware. They low balled our quote and then jacked up several aspects once they had our items. They quoted $190 / hour labor the cost was $220, they quoted $400 / month for storage, but when we got the bill it was $440. The quote was also based on rooms and items which we moved ourselves 2 beds including box spring and mattresses, several dressers, an entire living room set of couch, loveseat, and lounger, and a few TVs. Lastly they do not prorate your storage so we moved out of storage on August 5th and they charged us the full $440 for the whole month without rendering any services after August 5th. I am currently seeking remedy through the courts.

Good on pick up. Horrible storage and delivery. We stored for 5 months. They had a price increase in between and charged the higher price on our credit card. Asked to speak to a supervisor twice and called her directly 5 times. We never received a call back. We disputed $300 with the credit card company and Bay Shore sent the higher bill to them to support it (not the original lower one). One desk was badly damaged and they scratched paint and wood floors. No resolution or compensation yet, moved in 7 weeks ago.

The worst company I have ever used and I moved many times. Thieves are what the movers are. I lost clothes, many tools, many crystal glasses, a multi-draw storage bin, several flower pots, many picture frames. ect. The worst part is that I gave them a very large tip. NEVER EVER USE THEM

The WORST moving experience I have ever had. The movers caused over 7000$ dollars in damage. They wrecked both the home I left and the home I moved too. They didn't wear masks. The worst part is the customer service at Bayshore movers is non existent. STAY AWAY!

The absolute most damaging and overpriced experience of my life. Moved to Florida and within 45 days I had to move back due to a family Illness. I used Stevens to move the exact same amount back to NY. Here's the deal: 1. Quoted 4500 2. My weight was over so they jumped the price to 6200 after they had my stuff 3. Stevens charged 5k for exact same reverse move. 4.

As Stevens loaded my belongings, they pointed out damage. I lost a bed, my box spring was never packed and has dirt all over it. My couch was damaged. And I lost a bed and night table. In closing, and I filed a complaint about worker smoking weed in my house. I have not filed an insurance claim bc after reading other reviews, I'd get nowhere. Bob the Vice President gave me an original estimate. Lowered it to beat the competition then raised it when they had my belongings.

When I tried to talk to him about the 2k increase he was nasty. I hope they needed my extra money. I Am a single woman and the cost to replace my belongings along with the "weight" increase really effected my finances.

I recently moved from one house to another and need help with the move out, storage, and then move back into my new home and spoke with at least 5 different companies before speaking with Danny Flores at Bay Shore Moving. When he came to give us an estimate he was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The quote we were given was reasonable so we decided to choose them and weren't disappointed.

The estimate was accurate and the crew worked quickly and on time. When it was time to move back in the crew was on time and again worked very diligently to set everything up. It was an overall great experience and would highly recommend them, especially Danny Flores.

We were dreading this move from Centerport to Long Beach Moving is just so stressful Well Bayshore moving n storage made the whole move wonderful! They arrived 15 minutes early! The guys were courteous and patient-wrapped our belongings as if they were their own! Handled everything with care! I couldn't have been more impressed and as a doctor I have made many moves-school, residency, fellowship, jobs.

This experience was by far the best. I want to thank Bayshore movers and in particular Brenda who was great! Just let Bayshore moving n storage handle your next move and believe me all the stress and worries of moving will go away! Blessings

If I could give them 10 Stars, I would! I am long overdue to write this review. I used Bayshore back in 2009 for a local move within New York State. I couldn't be happier with the staff that assisted me in this move that I was really unprepared for. LOL. I was so pleased with the quality of their work that when I relocated from New York to Florida in 2017, I didn't call anybody else but Bayshore. once again they provided me with Superior Service at a price that did not break the bank! I wish them continued success in the future.

Do not use this company! This company held several bins of personal items in storage while my parents, who are in their 70s, were in the process of moving. All but one bin was returned to my parents. When they inquired about the missing bin, Bayshore/ Atlas/ United Moving acknowledged that they were at fault and inadvertently delivered it to another customer.

They then offered my parents $300 as a settlement to compensate for their admitted error. Yet, The cost of the missing items exceeds $1,800! The case is now in small claims court. We hope for an appropriate resolution for their admitted ever.

They were not clear about the fact that we would be waiting almost 2 weeks to receive our belongings. Our belongings were sitting in their warehouse for 10-12 days or so before finally being shipped to our new house in Florida! So we only received our belongings 15 days after the pickup. The reason given by the dispatcher was "we're waiting for other customers to close on their houses" REALLY!?

If they're not ready that is not fair to make us wait. I will admit I don't know if that's a normal practice in the moving business but they should've been clear about that from day 1. 2 stars only because the actual movers did a good job at least.

Moved from Seaford to Smithtown. Quick and reasonable estimate. Moving day was timely and efficient. Even got money back as estimated time was more than actual time. No damaged items found. Crew was professional and friendly.

Bay Shore Moving moved our furnishings from Lindenhurst, NY to Houston TX this past September. The crew that picked up the load was great as was the crew that delivered it. The truck that the load was put on was not the same truck that delivered the goods. As we have been unpacking we have found numerous broken items, damaged boxes etc. A tv that was packed by the movers was damaged and our claim was not honored.

I have called the company a number of times to discus my complaints and never even received the curtesy of a return call. Apparently when the load was transferred from one truck to another, they apparently didn't care how the items were handled. If I could give a zero star rating I would. My advice is never even consider using Bay Shore. Not only don't they care how they handle other people's goods, they apparently don't care about their reputation. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

Finally received a return call, and the representative from the company was not at all helpful. This just confirms my opinion that they simply don't care. I reviewed the owner's response. Apparently their record keeping is as poor as their service. Their crew did indeed pack the tv that was damaged. They don't stand behind theoservice and just use excuses to explain their carelessness and poor performance. PICK ANOTHER COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET USING THEM IN THE END.

These are some of the worst movers in the industry. The biggest issue we had with them was they gave us a quote for $7,800 for a cross country move and then raised it to $11,500 (a more than 50% increase). We had firm quotes from other movers but decided to use Bayshore since that was an Allied Van Lines partner, and that turned out to be a big mistake. Additionally, two women came to pack up our condo and showed up almost 3 hours late and took far longer than they were supposed to. Additionally, the packers came on one day and the movers on another for a 2 bedroom apartment, which is not necessary since we didn't have that much stuff. Overall, I do not recommend this company at all.

Worst move ever! So much damage, and seven months later, they still have not settled my claim. Their claims department is so condescending, the guy they sent to take pictures of the damage was inept. I would never use this company again!

I wish I could give this company no stars. They are rude, do not provide customer service, did not even offer all of their services, their driver was illegally over worked, and they "self haul" so the real company the driver under, Atlas, couldn't even assist me. They were late on arrival by more than 5 hours, and 24 hours late on drop off. I had to take off days from work due to their errors and even pay extra money to board my dog to keep the house open. At this point, I just want my stuff (which I still do not have) and I want to be done with this disgusting and non-professional company. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!

The crew was stealing from my father. One of them took the coins and hid the frame that they were in behind a mirror. We had to call the police because they started an argument with my father. They confessed and gave my father back his belongings. I would give zero stars if that was possible. Never again! On top of it they were expensive. Disgrace. Update: The mover that stole gave back my fathers belongings and was fired on the spot by the foreman.

The moving company sent 2 new men to help the move. No apologies from any of the management. Terrible and very unhappy. It would have been nice if the management actually gave a real phone call to my family to apologize. The problem with your company is that you're hiring illegal immigrants to uphold the reputation of your company. My parents spoke to the secretary and it sounded as if this has happened before because there was no apologies. I was standing right there listening.

Just completed a move from Long Island to South Florida using Bay Shore Moving and could not be happier. Actual charges came in below the initial estimate, but close enough to show that our salesman Bob J really knows his business. The crews on both ends were professional, hard working and respectful on all accounts. Moving was a traumatic experience after 40 years in the same home, but the Bay Shore team really helped with flawless service and accurate estimating.

I used Bay Shore based upon the recommendation from friends and feedback from my realtor who also heard good thing about Bay Shore moving. I highly recommend Bay Shore Moving!

I have used this company several times. I tell everyone what a great job they do. I have moved several time due military transfers and have had terrible experiences before, but never with any of the employees at this company. I actually had an extra stop to pickup additional furniture and didn't inform them prior. They were more than accepting and didn't even charge me. Thanks guys. Your the best.

My recent move with Bay Shore Moving Company and the response from the owner and employees made it necessary to write this review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Being X-Military Wife and having moved many times I understand the process only too well. The morning of the move they came late in a truck that was not large enough for the move. The truck was big enough for the garage items only.

The head mover called the office to inform them that they needed a bigger truck. After 6 phone calls and 6 hours later I was told another truck was coming to remove the household items but I would have to pay more. I had to be out of the house that night and I had no choice, we were at there mercy and they would not unload our belongings until we paid the full price.

This company moved us before and had every idea what we needed to move. The movers came in and started removing my items from my home. My antique vanity was tipped to its side and the mover grabbed the legs and ripped them completely off the unit. Because it was tipped to the side the beautiful marble top was cracked crushed and broken into three pieces.

Then they did the same on my antique curio cabinet ripping the legs off I was hysterical. The damages are beyond repair. Things were flying out of the house and loaded without concern as I followed them asking them to be careful. I could not communicate with them in English and I do not speak Spanish. The damages on the Antiques alone are more then the move cost.

I have several estimates. The damages to the furniture and household goods in the thousands of dollars. When the truck was loaded I followed them to the new house. I was upstairs while they brought the bedrooms in and had them place them in the correct rooms. At the same time the other movers were throwing all of my boxes of dishes and clothes and household goods down in the basement. Thrown in piles the destruction was unimaginable.

Before they left we inspected one truck and if not for the alcohol bottle sticking out of one of the moving blankets we would not have seen the things there were about to steal. We recovered a partial crate of alcohol there were stealing. Later finding that there were many many more things missing. The following morning I called to speak to the owner.

I asked him to please come to see how I was moved into my home. I wanted him to see how things were thrown, broken and destroyed. He yelled at me because he had just come into work at 9:30 and had no idea how to deal with this. He promised he would call me back after investigating my concerns. I never heard from him again. I called Allied to complain and they said, it was not there problem because it was in state and not out of state move. Allied and Bay Shore Movers should be put out of business for there unprofessionalism for hiring illegals and for destroying my belongings.

Just some background. I relocated from Manhattan to Downtown Montreal. The Montreal side of the relocation was amazing and this review has nothing to do with them. This is strictly a review of Bay Shore. I would NOT recommend using this company. My review below is what I wrote to Atlas in their Post Evaluation Survey. "I have to start with the fact the Movers who unpacked my goods at my destination were amazing and the following comments have absolutely nothing to do with them!

As for the destination company (Bay Shore Movers). Upon my first meeting the the Agent, Danny Flores, I felt very secure that I had made the right decision. All was fine up until I officially booked a move date. Danny was impossible to reach. From the moment I scheduled the move date up until the delivery day I must had emailed or tried to call Danny 10 times and I received one reply and what he promised in that email did not even happen.

I was referred to his secretary Brenda who was nice but she rarely had the answers to my questions and would have to contact me days later or sometimes without a reply at all. Now on to the movers/packers. We decided to pack up over two days. The first day two men came and they were fine. The actual day of moving 3 men showed up. The foreman was fine, he did break the leg of our TV unit when tapping it up, but this situation has been stressful enough and with how I've seen this company communicate and I do not have the patients or energy to chase them for them for the $150 the unit cost.

The two workers that came on the final move in date were not very good. The weight/price of my whole move was paper weight. They wrapped up things that did not need wrapping, many of the boxes where half empty and then things like glass candle sticks were poorly wrapped, one was even broken. They barely spoke a word of english and there was a lot of miscommunication; I had specifically asked them not to pack certain piles of goods, which they did and then when asked to retrieve said items out of the box there were signs and eye rolls.

I am overall disappointed with the beginning stages of my move and it's unfortunate Atlas leaves a bad taste in my mouth no thanks to Bay Shore Movers." I'm just glad this is all over.

If only it was possible to give zero stars. The people at Bay Shore are COMPLETE SCAMMERS - DO NOT USE THEM! First, they screwed up the move date. Next, they screwed up the move, failing to use proper protective material when packing fragile things (including, for example, carrying TV sets down the street unwrapped), throwing things into boxes without labeling them, packing things which did not belong to me and which were specifically marked to stay, and damaging the former residence (by failing to fold a folding treadmill and smashing it through a glass door).

Despite numerous rounds of phonecalls and e-mails back and forth immediately after the move, they refused to take any responsibility. They refused to conduct a damage assessment and, instead, told me that if things are damaged, I will have six months from the time I move them from storage to make a claim for damages. Their salesman, Nick (who, it appears has since been fired) made an agreement with me whereby I would pay a certain amount upfront for Bay Shore to pack my things and move them to its storage facility, then pay the balance when I move my things from storage.

When I contacted them recently to access some of my things before my upcoming wedding, they refused to allow me to access my things unless I pay them the full balance that is not due yet. Moreover, they made personal and professional threats against me and threatened to put my things up for auction. I am now pursuing compaints against them with the BBB, the NYS Dept of Transportation, the NYS Attorney General, LIMSA and AMSA. DO NOT USE BAY SHORE - YOU'LL REGRET IT. I only wish someone had warned me.

We found this company via the Allied Moving site for a NYC area move. A preliminary walk thru was scheduled for today for between 8-10am. The gentleman who was supposed to meet us was a no show and didn't call as well, so at 10am I called up their office to check and see if he was on his way. I was told that he was tied up and would call asap.

Half hour later we get a call saying it will be 15 more minutes. He ultimately arrived over an hour late. As for the estimating, I thought the guy, Nick, did a great job, and he was pretty friendly as well. However, their price estimate came in at nearly $1000 more than Moishe's and Oz, and it was not a guaranteed ceiling. The other companies we saw gave an estimate ensured it would not go over their quote.

I can't say definitively that I don't recommend them, they may be a top notch outfit. Actually, other Allied movers we used over the years were fine. But, Bay Shore was pricey and late in the one meeting we had, so take it for what it is.
