AWC Packaging Inc was originally known as Western Way Distributing and was started in the late 70's to serve the agricultural industry in Orange County, California. Orders for packaging products and field supplies were generated in the morning hours, delivered in the afternoon and invoiced out of the founders bedroom in the evening.

Dick Harris is the founder and CEO and has been in the corrugated box and packaging business for over 45 years. After graduating from The University of Texas in Arlington he soon joined Crown Zellerbach Paper as a sales executive and moved to California.
