Start by gathering as many boxes that you think you will need, tape, markers and packing material i.e. Make up an inventory of your items and keep it in a safe place at home or in a safe deposit box away from the unit. Pictures and mirrors should be wrapped in cardboard and marked "FRAGILE" and stacked on end.
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs you can move in anytime. We require a Government issued photo ID (example: driver's license, state id, or passport). At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit.
This size unit yields 25 square feet of space. Although these 5x5 units are small, they are an excellent size to store all of your extra items, like garden tools, seasonal items, office supplies, or your miscellaneous boxes. This size unit yields a total of 50 square feet of space, perfect for storing an entire bedroom or office.

Award Self Storage, serving the South Jersey area for 23+ years, has been an absolute pleasure to work with! I recently got a new bed and I needed a place to store my old queen mattress and frame, along with some other miscellanea. I went in just for some boxes and tape. I decided to ask about a unit. The man who helped me was so informative and patient with me. I ended up signing for a unit right there. The units were overall less expensive than a lot I have seen, and you get the second month free! Having the truck for free for a few hours was the best! My one bedroom apartment fits perfectly into my unit and I feel like it is very secure. I could not be happier with choosing Award.

This is the second time we have turned to Award Self Storage to solve a necessary storage solution. In 2012 a choice need that we were very satisfied with. Very recently we were forced out of our condo by a severe water flood from above. Once again we turned to Award. We are extremely satisfied with the personnel, Rob, Sue and Gail. Each one of them, at one time or another has been extremely helpful, and we definitely appreciate it.
We appreciate the feeling of safety that is provided by the process of entry and exit. The fact that the individual units are alarmed, again was important to return to the facility. In addition to the cleanliness we also appreciate the new entry keypad for easier use.

Wonderful service, Best Experience and sense of comfort in the midst of the stress of moving. GREAT incentives and packages they care and know exactly what is needed in this process and they provide everything they can to meet your needs. I've been with Award Self Storage for about 4 years now & honestly would not consider another storage facility. The service is five star; I'm in sales & receive large deliveries of samples on a weekly basis. The staff receives my packages, stores them in a safe place & contacts me to advise each delivery. The actual storage space is large, clean, climate controlled & most importantly, safe!
I live in Center City, Philadelphia & use this storage facility over closer facilities because of the high levels of service & outstanding value. Great job Award Self Storage, keep up the good work! -Sam Gross
