Apple moving was great for our local move. Jerry Harrison is top notch. He kept me informed about everything and made this as smooth a process as possible. A+ service.

I have lived all over the country with my career. The move is always a challenge as you are starting a new job and really unending your life. We all know moving is painful. I have to say this was one of the best moves I have had, The team that worked with me on the Florida end were awesome. Never one complaint. Over extended themselves. They packed quickly and efficiently.

The load day was amazing. Concerned about the elevator. These guys decided to take everything down a steep staircase and finished by mid day. It was amazing. The move in home in DC was also great. Greeted by the manager who handled the booking. Surprised he showed up, but an example of the commitment from the company. The driver/crew lead (Rodney) was outstanding!

We just received our hhg at fort bliss by this company. the 3 young men were super friendly, on time and working fast, followed all our wishes left our house in the same condition as when they started to unload. definitely recommend them! Ms Brittney stopped by to make sure everything is going well and was also very friendly!

Different packers everyday, no continuity in packing style. Mislabeled multiple boxes that had to be opened. Failed to list our High Value Items on the box they are located in, more unpacking to come. Left about a rooms worth of stuff unpacked and said the load out crew would take care of it - Unsat! Didn't pack TVs in rv boxes - but packed pictures in rv boxes.

No crate for our 75 TV and no tv box either. Pretty sure it is getting replaced :(. Packers on 2nd and 3rd day didn't bring any food or drink and the heat index was 107. we have moved 19 times over the last 32 yrs and this is the absolute worst moving company we have experienced. They canceled load out day and storage location on the third day of packing (a Friday- for a Monday pickup). No idea when or who is picking up our stuff now. Much frustration, dissatisfaction and disappointment. Would not recommend!

We used the Del Rio location! The price was fine, but the General manager was rude and had a very unprofessional tone. I don't know if this is the standard at every location but this move was a failure. I would not recommend using Del Rio and the General Manager David I believe is a complete embisol. I hope no one ever has to get treated with the lack of service and proffessinalisn we did.

Packing was done poorly - not well organized. I paid for boxes and they brought used ones; they did not cross out the prior labeling so movers on the receiving end placed many boxes in the wrong rooms and the move in was slowed down by my attempts to identify what was what and where to put things. Apple Moving also took a box from a storage room, which had been mailed to a family member and had a mailing label with that name on it (and which had been saved for an intended use).

Since it had someone else's name on it, when asked, I instructed it to be left behind (not knowing that they'd taken it and put one of my valuable heavy items in it). It cost $175.00 to separately ship that item to the destination. Apple ignored my requests to address the situation.

Overall very happy with the delivery of my household items. They were very professional and quick. Ensured I was happy with their services prior to departing. Great group of guys. Service: Moving-related packing

We had Apple Movers out of Woodbridge for a military PCS move from DC to Texas over the summer. The service was about par for the other military moves I've made so far. Good - the packers were fast and hardworking and managed to pack our whole house in one day instead of the 3 days estimated (however, upon un-packing it was obvious they were so fast because they took a fair number of shortcuts, resulting in damage).

The delivery people (unloading) in Texas were really hardworking and nice guys as well. They seemed very concerned that they complete what they were supposed to, even returning to re-assemble a treadmill and haul away packing materials. I thought they were a more professional bunch than the origin crews. Bad - it always happens on a military move, a few things got broken, there were only two things that really bothered me: one of the unloading crew took a pretty good chunk out of one of our interior doors, we may have to replace it; and the origin packers wrapped up an open Damp-Rid from our basement and packed it.

When we opened that box, everything was covered in the salt water goo from the crystals. The loaders underestimated the size of our load when packing and ran out of room in the truck, they had to send out an additional truck the next day and communication was not smooth. The 'Parts Box' that the loaders were supposed to use for all bolts and hardware from furniture was just a mish-mash with nothing labeled and some parts packed in other boxes.

The unloading crew had a hard time figuring out what bolts went to which item and some sofa feet we found in another box a few days later. The Ugly - the loading crew were not wearing masks huffing and puffing in and out of our home the entire day. Only the driver wore one and he said he had no say over the crew. This crew, interestingly, did not provide a form documenting that they were using proper COVID safety precautions like the crew at the unloading did.

I was very impressed by the integrity of the packers, as we are unpacking we found cash packed that we had forgotten about. Of course a few items broke in the move. My only complaint is trying to get them to do the packing material pickup. My wife and I both left messages, it has been a few dats since I last spoke with Julie and I still do not have a confirmed day of when they will come pickup the boxes and paper from our front yard.

Overall, we had a good experience with this company moving across the country. My only issue was with the timing of their arrival for both the pick-up and drop off of our belongings. During pick-up, they were over two hours later than when we were told to expect them and didn't arrive until late afternoon to drop off at our destination when the truck arrived in the area the previous day. Everything else was great and none of our stuff was damaged.

I was very unhappy with the job they did on my last move and do not recommend them. The mover they sent was slow and rude. Management was unresponsive so that is also a red flag.

BEWARE - worst customer service ever - I have correspondance dating back to May trying to get items repaired that they broke or floors that they scratched so badly gashes of wood are missing. This move cost me over 7k and probably that many grey hairs. I watched the moving guys toss my boxes out of the vans when they thought I could not see them - and the quote person, Chris has been impossible to get ahold of when following up on broken items and destroyed property - it has been a nightmare.

Everything in my house was moved very quickly. It took far less time than expected. Quick service & affordable pricing.

We recently used Apple Moving to move about two bedrooms of furniture and other household goods and keepsake to storage. We found the entire process simple, quick and simply perfect. Chris worked with us on our quote and their pricing was in line with expectations. He was very fast in turning around the first quote within a few hours and then providing us updates as we updated the inventory list.

On moving day, Lawrence and Mike were on time, professional, careful and thoughtful in how they both loaded and unloaded our belongings. They were quick overall as well. I've used Apple several times over the last ten years and have always been pleased with their professionalism, pricing and reliability. I'll use them again.

Two things that make me skeptical. 1. I called to schedule a move. They seemingly reserved it for me, and were supposed to send me an email confirmation. After 24 hours, no confirmation email. I sent them a message through their "contact us" form on the website. After waiting 2 days, no response. Called again to get a confirmation sent. 6 hours later, still no confirmation.

I cancelled. If they can't get an email to send, how can I trust them to show up? 2. They don't seem to respond to feedback on this site. I definitely see that as a red flag. To be fair, I used them once before 7 years ago. They were fantastic back then.

Apple Movers - The Worse Movers Ever! Three Resets, Damages my property, plus they refuse to help move the small boxes I specifically quoted via email? Kept stating not enough time, but then charged me for 30 minutes that I went over? If they had moved the rest I would have taken 30 minutes. The icing on cake is hearing a man rip apart a priceless antique and be told goto a website and get the form? Talk about worse customer service! You make your own call, but you have been warned.

Costs of damaged furniture and destroyed television exceeded savings of packing estimate. We chose them because they claimed to be insured and would be responsible for packing into shipping containers. Their estimate was reasonable and they worked quickly. But the packing was poorly done, they did not use the materials provided to protect flat screen TVs.

They packed fragile boxes upside down, gouged wooden furniture and flatscreen smart TV was destroyed because it was not packed properly in provided packing material. They never responded to insurance claim for damages.

5-Star job today, fellows. Guillermo and Kenyon were professional, courteous, and quick. I'd ask for these two by name if possible. See you all again in 1-4 years for my next move.

UPDATE: 7.12.3018 * Table top finally arrived after 3 attempts. APPLE HAD THE NERVE TO REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT FOR SHIPPING CHARGES VIA IKEA OF 42.00! *Check for missing kitchen ware totalling.24.00. **So, to recap.800$ move, tip and breakfast for the guys, 150$ in missing kitchen ware and Apple Moving actually thought that WE still owed THEM 42$!** NEVER, EVER AGAIN Very disappointing.

As a long time, about 12 years, customer it actually pains me to write this review. For the past many moves, 4 at least I've had nothing but raves for Apple Moving. The service, both the move and customer care had always been exceptional. This experience however has been the complete opposite. We moved a 2 bedroom apt not more than a couple of miles.

One small set of stairs at the pick up and an elevator to use at the drop off. In the past, a move similar to this has taken 3 to 4 hours and cost no more than 400.00. And no elevator. This move took 6.5 hours and total cost, with tip.800.00! Broken and lost items. We spoke to Mike once and Chuck a couple of times. Mike was willing to replace the broken desk top right away if we were willing to accept a piece thinner than the one broken.

As for the lost items, we were told they would look in the warehouse. We sent the dimensions for the desk top, waited for a response on both issues. After a second email 2 days ago, I have not even received a common courtesy response. Of course, we can file for the items lost and broken and wait the 60 to 90 days, which we will, but to be treated so poorly after such a long and satisfying business relationship is, to say the least, very disappointing.

As for the ridiculous cost of this move, Mike informed us that employees had been let go bc of their inability to book moves appropriately, like ours and had cost him deeply in refunds. But, not in my case. That is fine. We really didn't expect much after the first conversation with Chuck. All I can think is that they really don't care about the loss of a single customer at this point and they have lost this customer for all time. When once I bragged and pointed as many potential customers as I could their way, I will never again recommend Apple Moving to anyone.

I've used Apple Moving twice to move around Austin and both times they've been affordable, helpful, reliable and FAST. I will continue to use them in the future should I move again!

My friend, K'Andrea and I had Apple Moving move some furniture to her house and to mine in the same truck. I want to say that Ryan and Daniel from Apple Moving did a great job in moving the large pieces and had to negotiate a difficult turn on the stairs in my house, which they did so very professionally with no damage. Recently moved to Austin and Apple Moving was the delivery company. Joe and Ryan were very accommodating and friendly.

I have moved using a contract carrier 5 times in the past 13 years and this company is hands down the worst movers I have ever used. Not a single piece of furniture arrived without serious scuffs, scratches, gouges, cracks or dents. We had multiple cooking peices broken that were obviously crushed. Even the cushions on our couch was crushed, the. dining room chairs were dented and our table top looks like they played shuffle board on it with sand and a hubcap.

Simply because they didn't pack our stuff correctly. These guys either are ingnorant or just don't care about your stuff. Just to give you an idea of the "quality" of their work and how much they "care" we opened one box to discover.

I have used Apple Moving with every move and also refer Apple to all my clients. They far exceed my expectations. Always on time and do a great job. I would highly recommend them.

Although the crew was courteous, they made it abundantly clear that they wouldn't move loose items. That made the 2 fans and 20' of clothing we paid for a no-go. They also didn't pay much attention to the list (or us). They didn't move several of the large boxes from the quote, and moved items we didn't want moved - some items were intended to be taken to storage.

They also failed to note that some items from the quote had been moved to storage and were not present for the move. Was the price adjusted, you might ask? Of course NOT. Essentially, we did a large portion of the move we paid for after the fact. As a result, we duplicated a lot of the effort paid for, and we were forced to significantly increase our cost.

I emailed the general manager afterwards. She was very responsive while booking the move, but much less accommodating or available after. She admitted the crew failed to meet her expectation or ours, but she only offered $58 of the near $600 paid as compensation. I guess that's par for the experience. Having used Apple at least 5 times in the last 8-10 years, I am very disappointed with the level of service this time. Apparently, the name no longer equates to quality, customer service or professionalism.

These guys are beyond amazing! The site for requesting a quote is thorough and easy to navigate, a price response did not take long, and they did not bombard my inbox with follow up messages. I did, however, wait too long to book them, as it was the last weekend of the month, and had to choose another time. But that's my bad. There was a minimum threshold that I did not meet, as my roommate and I (going separate ways) had differing amounts of items we needed moved, but similar types, and the price was the same.

I misunderstood that my reserved time was an arrival window; I didn't read the reservation confirmation email. However, they still got everything over to the new place at around the end of the time frame. Fast, friendly, personable! I'm a single woman, and at no point was I uncomfortable with these two burly men. Like any movers, being fast and completing the job was slightly more important than the walls, but these guys were the least destructive movers I've ever had! Way to go! I'm referring all of my single lady friends to y'all!

Lawrence, Kenyon & Marcus made packing & moving a great experience (which wasn't easy, I know, because our old place was up 3 flights of stairs & the new place up 4). They were professional, efficient, had super positive attitudes & kept us laughing. Kudos to these gentlemen. Will definitely use Apple again!

STOP, DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY. We went with Apple Moving because of the star rating, and maybe we just got the WORST crew they have. Our driver, Spencer, never ever got out of his truck. He never watched his men who did the following (all while spun out on meth and asking for margaritas ); 1) Dented all 3 doors on our Samsung stainless steel french door fridge. 2) Scratched and gauged our wood dining room table. 3) Broke our cat tree into 3 pieces. 4) Broke our dryer door to the point that we can see inside of the dryer and the door doesn't close. 5) Broke our Elfa closet shelf system to pieces. 6) Broke our King Sleigh Bed frame 7) Dropped my Halliburton briefcase and dented in the corner.

The unloaders in Tennessee were great, Doug, Jerry and Melvin. But once again, the driver never got out of the truck except for the paperwork. As for the desk jockeys, we never heard from the salesman after we signed the contract. When I did have a question, I received an email from someone I had never heard of answering my questions. No explanation by the salesman as to who I was being handed off to etc.

I can only imagine what the process of getting my claims settled will be like. If it is relatively painless, I will be more than happy to come back and give them 2 stars. But take our advice and just keep looking for any other company.

We had movers set up several weeks ahead of our in-town July Fourth weekend move. Two days before, those guys "got stuck in New Jersey" (I don't know) and we were left with bupkus. My husband called Apple, got a great quote and got on the schedule, and on our regularly scheduled move-out day, a three-superhuman crew showed up at our house to get it all done.

And man, did they ever get it all done for us! Ruben, Andrew, and Tony walked into a pretty chaotic situation and wrangled it into shape. In just under seven hours, they loaded the contents of our old house, transported it all, and unloaded it all. They were careful AND quick. They checked in to see what we wanted. In the new house, they kept it organized and put everything exactly where it needed to go, all while being kind and funny to our two little boys and unfailingly pleasant to the frazzled grown-ups.

In short, THEY WERE AMAZING and we absolutely could never have had a better crew. Huge thanks to Apple and to Ruben, Andrew, and Tony! ps. guys, one of you left a super-awesome magnetic two-sided Milwaukee tape measure in my husband's hands. big mistake. :-) seriously, now he knows what to get me for my birthday in August. we have it waiting here for you. holla.

Wow, just wow. My wife calls up and sets up our move. Facts given, we live in a 3600 square foot home, we have a lot of stuff, we have most everything boxed, however, we have items that still require moving. Estimate given, six hours. Ok, sounds like a great deal. Guys show up late, around 9:30 am. They start moving stuff. TWO GUYS show up to move into a 5500 square foot home.

Can you plan any worse? The guys were nice enough. We even gave one an old coffee table we didn't need. They had to work the whole night until 10 pm to finish the job, and they didn't finish the job all-in-all. So many things were still not set-up as promised. Then they hit me with the $1200 bill, twice the estimate. Both of them explain that their dispatch office should have sent four guys for a job like this, and that this is a huge internal error.

They said the lady who was taking those calls and estimates was not experienced, and caused this entire issue. Here is the deal. If you have a large home you better go for a big hitter. I am sure these guys work well for apartments, but one broken glass picture later, now preparing to have to deal with their management team to get prices fixed, it is a nightmare. Not suited for large moves. I don't write a lot of Yelp review but PLEASE read this one, I promise you will thank me for it.

They break my LCD TV during moving. The worst part is they insure by $0.6 per pound. I end up getting $40. What a rip off. Be careful of using this company.

Apple moving, as a company, is great however it's unfortunate that I got a wannabe con artist and his helper as my movers. I called up apple and set up the moving date, they gave me a great price for the few things I had to move. Moving day comes and it turns out I actually had less than expected for them to move. The wannabe con artist instinctively says "Uh, that's going to be a problem.

Because of insurance reasons and blah, blah, blah. But we can over look all that. as long as you take care of us." Oh Really? You'll overlook your company's insurance protection for the small fee of a few dollars under the table? Makes sense. I always tip; and well too. But having a lame ass attempt to con a tip out of me sticks in my craw.

I wanted to tell the guy that he can just put all my shit back as I won't be needing his services but, what can I do. My schedule was tight and I wanted to move. I guess I could've stiffed him in the end but that wouldn't be cool to his helper guy, whom was nice. In closing, I like apple moving. I would use them again and even recommend them to a friend. But remember to give yourself some slack when setting up any kind of job transaction. Just in case you need to tell someone to go F**k themselves.

Having moved a total of 8 times in 24 years I have had lots of experience with movers and I can say without a doubt that Apple Moving is the BEST we have ever used. They were on time, efficient, extremely. careful with our things and most of all KIND. Moving is stressful and Apple does such an incredible job stress is minimized. From the first quote to the last box being brought in they were amazing. I recommend them without hesitation and with great enthusiasm!
